Everything is about to change.
Blue the SilkWing is content. Life in his Hive is safe; he loves his family; he has enough to eat. And Pantala has been at peace for as long as he can remember — SilkWings and HiveWings live and work together in harmony, and because they stay vigilant, no one has seen a dangerous LeafWing in years.
Now that Blue's sister, Luna, is undergoing her metamorphosis, Blue knows things are going to change. Luna will have her wings and her silk, be assigned a partner and a work order and move to another Hive. A few days later, Blue's own wings and silk will come in.
But nothing could prepare Blue for what happens when Luna's wings start to grow. Suddenly, his world is turned upside down, throwing him into dangers he never knew existed. Pantala isn't as peaceful as it seems, and Blue isn't safe. Whether he's ready or not, it's time to adapt — and fight for his life.

You heard me correctly, we have many spots needed for casting, and I’d like to get them filled as quickly as I can.
The audiobooks will be uploaded on “The Hidden library” Youtube channel, which is still in a bit of work.
What is WoF?
Wings of Fire is by Tui Sutherland and based around the idea of different tribes of dragons inhabiting a world and how they will control it. There are more than just six books, which all tell new and unique stories.
In that case, depending on what you are auditioning for, please keep these rules in mind:
ACTORS
Must be over 13, no matter the age of a character.
You need a clear microphone. Please don’t audition with a low mic, then promise you’ll get a better one if cast, get a better mic, THEN audition.
MUST have discord. It is our main focus of work.
ARTISTS
Must be over 13
I am aware I am asking for free art, so I’ll strive to be as patient with you as possible.
Willing to take time on a piece

Be willing to work in groups, as work will be split among artists for a manageable workload.
WRITER
Must be over 13
Organizational skills are VERY crucial for this job. While you may merely be turning the book in the script by copy and paste, it should be done in a very timely and clean manner.
MUST have discord.
As of now, I will only be casting spots for the prologue and up to chapter five. But there WILL be more spots to come, trust me.

Good luck to all!
Clearsight only makes an appearance in the prologue but is very important to the story. She only has a few speakings lines, but she speaks internally at times.
(Upset, hurt) Good-bye, my dearest love.
(Excited, surprised) Oh, they’re beautiful.
(Slow, introducing) My name is Clearsight, does anyone speak dragon?
The Beetlewings do not speak English, so don't be afraid to do two things; have a foreign accent, and speak slowly when speaking English.
(Confused) Leefromichou? (You don't need to say this correctly it is meant to be gibberish.)
(Slow, uncertain, welcoming) Some little, much old.
(Slow, uncertain) The old language...
Again, like the other BeetleWings, they do not speak English, so don't worry about pronouncing a lot of their lines.
(Confused)Twigheartlots splinterfall? (Again, do not be worried on how to pronounce these lines.)
(Questioning, slow) Whyer you here down?
(Proud, uncertain) Move all. We will do.
Blue likes things how they are up until he pieces together the truth of his 'perfect' world he lives in. He is obedient, kind, and always considers how other people feel, be it on him or their lives outside of his view. It takes time for him to find his courage, but it soon gets to a point where he is willing to give up everything for a better future for himself or his loved one.
I'd like to encourage the actor to have fun with this role. Blue may be a teen, but I think a lot of you know how men's puberty works on the voice! So have fun with that idea, or bring me something different! I want to see character!
(Informing, know-it-all) Today is only your cocoon-spinning day. It’ll take another five days for your wings to (getting shoved over) actuaaaaAAAAH!
(Confused, amused) Everything is great in the Hives. We’re safe, and we all work together, so I don’t see what anyone would have to complain about.
(Confident, low) This is not going to be our life, Luna. I won't spend the next hundred years writing fruitless letters. Father's way, obeying the system, hasn't worked. So we'll find another. Or we'll burn it all down.
Luna is proud and bubbly. She is Blue's sister and pretty much his opposite. Unlike her somewhat nervous brother, she is reckless and loud.
(Cocky, proud) Don't you 'actually' me. I'm your older sister and I've been to, like, twelve Metamorphosis days, plus I have the highest grade in our class in Silk Studies. I can 'actually' you under the table.
(Annoyed) Pffft. What Tussock's uncle saw was just a green SilkWing. He's just hysterical. And that collapse was obviously just shoddy workmanship. The sabotage story was so obviously a cover-up.
(Questioning, stern) Blue, don't you think it's unfair that HiveWings can use their weapons on us anytime they want, but we can't do anything to fight back?
Silverspot is Luna's mother (Luna and Blue are half-siblings), and worried about her child's metamorphosis and how it will go. Silverspot knows something Blue and Luna don't, and up until the last line, something shouldn't sit right with her voice.
(Hopeful, soft) Have a wonderful day, my darling. I’ll try to make it to the Cocoon,
(Worried, trying to cover fear) I can't wait.
(Horrified) I'm sorry...
Hawker is Hivewing guard. I'd like a bit of a deeper voice with the character, but don't be afraid to try something different.
(Casual) Ah. Metamorphosis today.
(Pointing something out on Luna) You'll have a new one of these the next time you come through here.
(Something off) *Clears throat"* Well then, good luck.
(Annoyed) Who's your mistress? Is she new to this hive? She should know that shopping for luxury items is not a task traditionally entrusted to servants.
(Respectful) My lady, I quite insist. We do not serve second class dragons before royalty in this establishment.
(Panicking, desperate to make her stop) My lady! Please don't! I'll have to close my shop for the rest of the day! This isn't necessary!
(Amused) What silly looking things...
(Thinking) Imagine, not being able to fly as a dragonet!
(Pushy, amused) Let me touch them!
Unlike many other Hivewings, she seems to respect the Silkwings that live with her and the history behind them. As a higher-up, she has no problem telling other Hivewings off for being cruel to Silkwings.
(Warning, soft) Choose an establishment friendlier to SilkWings next time.
(Off to the side) It is quite alright, let them go ahead of me, I am still busy.
(Annoyed) She parades him past me whenever she can, always with those hateful white eyes. I don't know if he ever gets to be himself. I haven't seen him with his own eyes since the day she took him over and summoned him to Wasp Hive.
Apparently, on dragon standards, Swordtail is quite handsome, and like his sister, Io, is ambitious and a clear rebel.
(Explaining, amused) He didn't. I finished all my work and asked — yes, very politely, Blue, I promise — and he still said no. So I snuck off when he wasn't looking
(Loud, a little annoyed) Hey, GRASSHOPPER! Look how hard I'm working! Are you happy NOW
(Amused, joking, proud) TO THE MOONS! Get it? Because moons is like lunar, which is like Luna, so it's like me saying 'to Luna' but in code. I thought that was clever.
Io is a lot like her brother. She is ambitious and clever, and does backflips which makes her extra cool.
(Planning) No way! We can't just let them take him!
(Stressed) Why did it have to be you? The one SilkWing who thinks HiveWings have any good in them?
(CONT'D, Explaining, serious) Listen, Blue. Stop trusting them right now. They've let you go about your ordinary life so far, but now you look dangerous to them, and they're not going to let you have that life back. It's gone.
(Mocking a bit, serious) Because every time someone says to you, 'Hey, wasn't that mean what that HiveWing did?' you say, 'Oh, maybe she's tired or frustrated with work or just lost something important or is having a fight with her sister,' and then it's kind of hard to follow up with 'Well, care to join a movement to take her down?'
We are looking for TWO narrators to share this job, as it will be a long one. I am going to give you freedom with this role, as I want to see what you can offer.
If you are flying directly into a hurricane, it is probably useful to be a dragon who can see the future.
Then again, if you are a dragon who can see the future, you are most likely far too smart to fly directly into a hurricane.
And yet, according to Clearsight’s visions, that was exactly what she needed to do.
She shook out her black wings, which were already tired from how far she’d flown all morning and the day before. Her talons clung to the slippery wet rock below her. Her scales felt itchy with salt from the ocean spray. Above her, the sun peeked wearily through cracks in the dull gray clouds.
She closed her eyes, tracing the future paths ahead of her.
In one direction — south and a little east — there was a small island with a warm sandy beach. Two coconut palms nodded toward each other and there were lazy tiger sharks to eat. The
hurricane would pass it by completely. If she went there, Clearsight could rest, eat, and sleep in safety. Then she could continue on in two days after the storm was over.
But in the other direction — a long flight west and slightly north — the lost continent was waiting for her.
But now that it was happening to his family, Blue found it extremely nerve-racking.
He was already awake when Luna bounded across the web and started shaking him shortly before dawn. He wasn’t sure he’d slept at all. For a while, he’d been watching the glow of tiny lights moving far below them in Cicada Hive, imagining himself as one of those
early-rising dragons on their way to work, awake before the sun. In the distance, he could see Hornet Hive in one direction and Mantis Hive in the other, although the webs that connected them were mostly invisible in the dark.
He’d never been to any of the other Hives, but he knew they were spread out in a wide circle around the plains of Pantala. The enormous dragon cities rose from the grassland and reached for the sky like towering, dragon-made echoes of the trees used to dominate the land. Their roofs arched out like branches and the dense silvery threads
SilkWing webs created a canopy tying those branches together, so even wingless SilkWing dragonets could travel between Hives far above the ground if they wanted to (and were allowed to).
He yawned and batted Luna’s talons away, pretending he’d been in a deep sleep. Dewdrops glittered all across the web around and above them as if it had rained tiny diamonds in the night. He could see the silk-bundled shape of Luna’s mother on the outer edge of their cell, still fast asleep. His own mother was on a night crew these days and had been gone since midnight.

These are just for extra roles, such as guards and citizens. Don't be afraid to play with these characters, as most of them are cocky and rude!
