Glory never expected to become a hero. As the only RainWing among the dragonets of destiny, she’s spent her whole life being underestimated by the others — especially when compared to the strong MudWings, fierce SeaWings, and clever NightWings around her.
But after escaping the mountain and surviving the dangers of the outside world, the dragonets are still searching for somewhere safe to belong. When they travel deep into the mysterious rainforest kingdom of the RainWings, Glory hopes she may finally discover where she fits in.
Instead, the rainforest is hiding dark secrets. RainWings have been disappearing without explanation, strange dragons lurk in the shadows, and an ancient threat is beginning to reveal itself. As danger closes in, Glory must step forward and prove that being underestimated might actually be her greatest strength.

Hey there! I'm CalebVA, a rookie voice actor who’s passionate about editing and bringing stories to life through voice and visuals. I’ve worked on several comic dubs and creative projects, and I’m super excited to continue my full comic dub adaptation of Wings of Fire: The Hidden Kingdom — the next thrilling chapter in the Wings of Fire saga!
This project will be a full-length graphic novel comic dub, aiming to bring the lush rainforest kingdom and its dragons to life through immersive voice acting, cinematic sound design, and dynamic visual editing. This installment focuses on Glory’s journey as she uncovers mysteries, confronts hidden enemies, and discovers what it truly means to lead.
This is part of an ongoing series, continuing the Wings of Fire graphic novel adaptations and potentially covering future books as well!
🔊 WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:
I’m casting voice actors for major and supporting roles, and I’m hoping to build a solid team of reliable, talented VAs to help bring these beloved characters to life. If you love dragons, fantasy stories, and collaborative storytelling, this is your chance to be part of an exciting long-term project!
📌 REQUIREMENTS & RULES
✅ Please submit clean recordings on a decent mic.
✅ Cut your lines to your best or favorite takes.
✅ Submit your recordings as ONE .wav file.
✅ Must have a Discord account – All project coordination and updates will happen there.
✅ Respect the deadline – Timely submissions help keep the project running smoothly.
✅ Auditioning for a main or supporting character does not automatically place you in the Extras casting pool. If you would like to be considered for both, you must audition for the named character(s) and submit an audition for the Extras category separately.
⚠️ If you consistently delay turning in lines, you may be removed from the project.
⚠️ I may request a small number of re-dos if necessary, but I’ll keep this to a minimum and respect everyone’s time.

🎭 CHARACTER AUDITIONS
Please read the character descriptions carefully before auditioning! Every dragon has a unique personality, voice, and role within the story, so don’t be afraid to bring your own interpretation to the characters. I’m open to both original takes and performances inspired by the official audiobooks.
Whether you're brand new to voice acting or already experienced, this project is all about collaboration, creativity, and fun as you bring the world of Wings of Fire to life.
Voice Actor
Jambu is adventurous, respectful, pitying, positive, and sympathetic. Upon first meeting him, Glory considered him to be stupid and the dizziest, most useless dragon she had ever met. He seemed as if he did not care at all about her abduction, shrugging at the thought of bothering to count the RainWing village's eggs. He is lazy and is horrified by the idea of using his venom on other dragons.
Playful / Relaxed “Why does everybody always look so stressed around here? Seriously, you all need a nap… and maybe some fruit.”
Supportive / Friendly “Hey, don’t worry about it. Whatever happens, we’ll figure it out together. That’s what friends are for, right?”
Excited / Comedic “Ohhh, this is going to be AMAZING. Dangerous? Probably. Fun? Definitely.”
Voice Actor
Liana is rude, lazy,and cheeky. , often preferring to nap and gossip rather than take part in hunting or tribal duties
Sassy "You can hunt if you want, but really, it's a waste of energy. And it's almost our sun time, so if you must, then do it quietly."
Bluntly/ Politely Rude "It's just your scales. ... They're so ... mousy."
Questioning/ Happily informing "The sun recharges our scales while we sleep. It makes us prettier, better at camouflage, smarter, and happier. What could be more important than that?"
Voice Actor
Unlike the average RainWing, Mangrove is shown to be rather alert, irritable, and perceptive — he is attentive enough to notice the disappearance of members of his tribe, whilst the other RainWings did not.He was as cheerful as the other RainWings before Orchid disappeared. It was stated that he was grumpier than most other RainWings, mainly because he never had as much sun time after Orchid disappeared, as he spent most of his time worrying about her.
Worried / Emotional “You don’t understand I’ve been searching for her for so long. I can’t just give up now.”
Determined / Brave “I don’t care how dangerous it is. If there’s even a chance to save her, I’m going.”
Gentle / Heartfelt “Thank you… really. Most dragons would’ve stopped helping a long time ago.”
Voice Actor
Deathbringer is a clever, confident NightWing assassin with a sharp sense of humor and a dramatic flair. He’s charismatic, teasing, and often uses sarcasm to lighten tense situations, especially around Glory. Beneath his cocky exterior, however, he’s deeply loyal, protective, and far more thoughtful than he first appears. His voice would fit someone smooth, witty, confident, and capable of switching into serious intensity when needed.
Flirty / Teasing “Well, technically sneaking into heavily guarded places is one of my many talents.”
Confident / Sarcastic “Oh sure, because that plan sounds perfectly safe and not dangerous at all.”
Serious / Protective “If anyone tries to hurt you, they’ll have to get through me first.”
Voice Actor
Blaze is one of the three SandWing Queens, known for her beauty, dramatic personality, and lack of common sense. She loves luxury, attention, and being admired, often acting spoiled or clueless about serious situations. Despite seeming shallow, Blaze can be surprisingly charming and isn’t truly cruel; she’s more naïve than evil. Her voice would suit someone elegant, dramatic, high-energy, and slightly airheaded, with lots of expressive emotion.
Excited / Dramatic “Ohhh, I love this idea! As long as nobody expects me to do anything dangerous or exhausting.”
Offended / Emotional “I am not spoiled! I just happen to appreciate beautiful things… and deserve them.”
Dramatic / Clueless “I tried thinking strategically once… and it gave me a headache for hours.”

Kinkajou is an energetic, hyperactive RainWing with a huge heart and endless optimism. She’s playful, talkative, curious, and always eager to help her friends, often bringing humor and excitement wherever she goes. Even though she acts bubbly and carefree, Kinkajou is surprisingly brave and resilient when facing danger. Her voice would fit someone bright, fast-paced, expressive, and full of enthusiasm.
Excited / Hyper “Okay, okay, okay hear me out! What if we sneak in through the trees, grab the treasure, and fly out before anyone notices us?”
Mischievous / Funny “If this goes horribly wrong, I just want everyone to know it was probably not my fault.”
Rambling / Excited “Ooo, are we making secret plans? I LOVE secret plans. Although I’m really bad at keeping secrets because sometimes I forget what’s supposed to be secret and then I accidentally say it out loud—”
Voice Actor
Queen Magnificent is the laid-back and somewhat absent-minded queen of the RainWings. She prefers peace, relaxation, and avoiding conflict over politics or war, often seeming detached from serious situations, negative RainWing stereotypes, as she is careless, selfish, and lazy. Becomes more hateful when someone threatens her throne.
Peaceful / Avoidant “Could we possibly agree to not be in danger today? I feel like that would be best for everyone involved.”
Fuming/ Enraged " WHAT ? You ate some of them! I know there were nineteen there when I gathered them up today!
Cocky "She'll survive and here's the important part. I won.
Voice Actor
Unlike the rest of her tribe, Grandeur is cold, sour, stately, regal, and is one of the last members of the RainWing royal family(Elder Dragon). According to Glory, she is the only RainWing who looks, moves, and sounds like a real queen, and has a royal elegance about her. She is unsatisfied with how lazy her tribe has gotten.
Criticizing/ Disapproving "I remember when we actually needed our camouflage. To protect ourselves from invading dragons. It wasn't just a game back then.
Casual/Nonchalant "Certainly I can. it is my throne. I have merely tolerated you all on it.
Panicked / Worried " I haven't had any eggs in decades. I dont think there is anyone related to me anymore.
Voice Actor
Tamarin is a gentle, soft-spoken RainWing who is blind but highly perceptive in other ways. She is kind, thoughtful, and emotionally intelligent, often noticing details others miss. Tamarin is calm and patient, but also quietly brave when supporting her friends.
Confident "Give me the flower one. If its about Flowers. I can do it
Suprised " Me ? Really ? Why would you pick me ?
Kind/Quiet “I can’t see your expression… but I can hear the truth in your voice.”
Voice Actor
Mastermind is an eccentric and highly intelligent NightWing scientist obsessed with experiments, knowledge, and discovery. He tends to become so focused on his research that he ignores the emotional consequences of his actions. Mastermind is awkward, excitable, and often talks quickly when discussing his work, but he can also come across as unsettling because of how detached he is from morality. His voice would fit someone nerdy, frantic, curious, and slightly unhinged beneath the surface.
Excited / Obsessed “Do you realize what this means? This changes everything we know about dragon abilities!”
Awkward / Defensive “Yes, well, some sacrifices are necessary in the name of scientific progress.”
Unsettling / Intense “You call it dangerous… I call it fascinating.”
