Where Was My Hero? - Prequel
Notice: This comic follows dark themes, strong language and graphic images.
Introduction:
'Where Was My Hero?' is a fan made comic set in the later years of Sonic's life, made by the artist Mercybhk who has left the sonic community. The original story is about a different 'dimension'/alternate universe , showing us if Tails had never met Sonic and the outcomes and consequences that followed. In the prequel, we delve into the characters personalities, developing their chemistry and the events that led up to the end (as this story covers the time skip outlined in the main story). I highly suggest giving both stories a read before you apply for a role to help you understand the themes of the story and the emotion applied into it as well as the character dynamic. You should watch the main story first and then the prequel.

Due to the deletion of Mercybhk's socials, media is hard to find, including the original website containing the comic and original dub.
Voice Actors:
-When you are recording your voice lines, please take them in AAA BBB CCC format (this means 3 takes per line).
-Please be using USB or an XLR mic (phone mic is will not be allowed).
-You are allowed to audition for as many characters as you like!
-Please use raw audio, slight normalization is completely fine. Do not cut your audio so it's choppy either.
-PLEASE State your discord or any form of contact , this can be email or any other social media.
-These roles are only for the MAIN CAST (+ 1 extra). Extras will be personally casted by me, however if you are interested in being a background character, please DM me and we'll take it from there.
--Deadline MAY be moved and be pushed back so please do not worry if you didn’t have time to audition, but DO NOT rely on this.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik better known by the alias Dr. Eggman, is the main antagonist of the Sonic the hedgehog series. He is an evil human scientist and the arch-nemesis of Sonic. Boasting an IQ of 300, Eggman dreams of dominating the world.
For this dub, I am looking for voice similar to the original Sonic voice actors: Mike Pollock and Deem Bristow. If you have your own spin on the voice of the character, you are welcome to still have a go! Please keep in mind that this comic is serious and has heavy undertones, the voice of this character needs to be able to convey a range of strong emotions.

Cream the Rabbit is a character that appears in the Sonic the hedgehog series. Originally living an idyllic life with her family, Cream had a chance encounter with Sonic and his friends, and soon began joining them on their adventures. She is able to achieve flight by flapping her large ears.
For this dub, I am looking for an original spin on her character. This comic takes place a few years after the original series and so Cream needs an OLDER voice! Please keep in mind that this comic is serious and has heavy undertones, the voice of this character needs to be able to convey a range of strong emotions.

Amy Rose is a character that appears in the Sonic The Hedgehog series. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without.
For this dub, I am looking for a more 'mature version' of Amy. As guidance the voice can be similar to the original Sonic voice actor: Cindy Robinson. If you have your own spin on the voice of the character, you are welcome to still have a go! Please keep in mind that this comic is serious and has heavy undertones, the voice of this character needs to be able to convey a range of strong emotions.

[Sorrowful] Sonic, you’re already fast enough, but you can’t be everywhere to save everyone. It’s not within your power, the rest is out of your control.
[Commanding] Guys split up into three groups! First two groups make sure everyone is safe, Rouge will take command!

Rouge the Bat is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a jewel thief who has worked as a part-time government spy for the President of the United Federation and in close association with the Guardian Units of Nations. As a spy, Rouge is trained in combat, stealth and infiltration, and possesses both super-level kicking power and flight.
For this dub, I am looking for a lower range (and less sexual) voice. As guidance the voice can be similar to the original Sonic voice actors: Kathleen Delaney and Kazumi Evans. If you have your own spin on the voice of the character, you are welcome to still have a go! Please keep in mind that this comic is serious and has heavy undertones, the voice of this character needs to be able to convey a range of strong emotions.

This role is an extra/ background character that is saved by Sonic during a fire. This extra has the most lines than any other extra in the comic and so I would like just as much passion in the voice as the main cast.
The animal seems like a fox/wolf of some sort and definitely a male in his early adulthood. So for this dub, I am looking for a mid ranged male voice so he sounds the appropriate age. Please keep in mind that this comic is serious and has heavy undertones, the voice of this character needs to be able to convey a range of strong emotions.

Background music will be needed throughout this dub, preferably orchestral music. The themes of this comic are heavy and I want the emotion to be continued and carried through the music to the viewer. You will work close with my editing assistant and I so we can discuss what the plan/cause of action will be. Music will not be considered until voice lines are complete for timing reasons.
