Charlie is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, feeling genuinely upset at the idea of harm coming to others.

Vaggie is a pragmatic and cautious angel who devotes a great deal of her time attempting to support Charlie with her vision for the hotel, as well as guiding her away from as much trouble or humiliation as possible.

She is tough, but she has a heart of gold.[4] Loyal and kind to those she cares for, but short on patience and trust, Vaggie tends to be very reactive, often taking an immediate defensive stance (with an offense at the ready) when it comes to dealing with potential threats towards either herself or Charlie.

Vox is an egotistical, charismatic, and manipulative showman of an Overlord who craves attention.[7] To the public, Vox presents himself as a legitimate businessman of VoxTek Enterprises, giving the facade of a man of the people to the denizens of Hell, when in truth, he is power-hungry, and he manipulates their minds to boost his reputation. He is very intelligent and technology-savvy, and he is always keeping up with the latest trends and technology.[8] He seems to be able to hide his less desirable side in public and even in private unless he's pushed to far.

Despite his egocentric nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Overlords and seeks to maintain their collective image of power. As the most level-headed member, Vox often acts as the de facto leader of the Vees. Claiming the Vees' brand to be "perfection", he is often frustrated or outright angered if someone can jeopardize it, such as when he reigns in his fellow Vee, Valentino, from attacking the Hazbin Hotel in response to Angel Dust living there. Another element that earns his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he utterly despises and might be intimidated by as he sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred for Alastor, Vox doesn't let it override his more pragmatic side. He fully knows Alastor's power and doesn't risk underestimating him.

Valentino has been described as being charming[note 6] and roughly as level-headed as his fellow Overlord, Vox.[note 7] When he interacts with Charlie in his studio he acts cordial around her while struggling to hide his anger and irritation that he would prefer to take out on one of his employees instead, such as Angel Dust. He does, eventually, show off his real behavior after some time. Valentino uses his charming persona in order to lure other Demons into working for him, as shown in "Welcome to Heaven" where Valentino admitted spending much of his time in nightclubs, picking up demons and offering them "jobs" at his studios, with him hiding his more violent and psychotic behavior in order to convince them to willingly "work" for him.

Valentino is depicted as being controlling, abusive, and narcissistic, specifically towards one of his star employees, Angel Dust.[4][5] He also displays sadistic tendencies, appearing to take enjoyment in overriding Angel's consent, and remains seemingly unbothered by the trauma he is inflicting.

Cherri is shown to be daring, bold, and determined. She is self-confident and constantly smiles broadly, taking pleasure in committing arson and other various crimes.

Despite this wild and care-free persona, Cherri is shown to have a more sensitive side as well; in the ADDICT music video, it is shown that she often stays with Angel and comforts him after he gets verbally or sexually abused by Valentino. She is also shown to be a supportive friend to Angel Dust; while she encourages him to let loose and finds the idea of the Hazbin Hotel ridiculous, she nonetheless supports his choices to try and be better, though she also mocks him for helping Niffty.
