Water Dragons Bride Manga Dub [English
Project Overview
The story of a girl who slips back in time to a different era. While playing in her family's garden, Asahi gets sucked in by the small pond and when she wakes up she finds herself in a place that seems like Japan from ancient times. A powerful clan takes her in, but the reason for their kindness is that they intend to sacrifice her to the water god, the dragon, to be his bride... Now that she is at the mercy of a god who appears to know no compassion, what will Asahi's fate be?
This manga series by Rei Toma isn't very well known and I aspire to change that.
Requirements:
-You must have Discord ( https://discord.gg/UYrX586 ) My personal is dojikkokitten#2020
-Must be 13+ (Exceptions can be made)
-Decent mic quality with limited background noise
-Multiple takes of the lines are not required, but are preferred so I can see your personal take on the character's line and my slight direction!
-If you're not the age or gender of the character you want to audition for, don't worry, you're still allowed to voice them! I will most likely gravitate to people who identify with similar genders to the characters they're portraying, but it won't be a deal-breaker here!
-It would be useful if you know the manga series but if not that won't be too much of an issue

The water dragon god is a lonely god who is often given sacrifices to reward the villager with good harvest. He hasn't excepted any until he meets Asahi. He should sound cold and emotionless yet still give off a large amount of personality.
[Bored] You were just another pitiable maiden thrown into my domain again...but your hair color is quite different, I see. Such a young child...how foolish of them. [pause and then fake laughter] They think a human could be the wife of a god? That is a strange thought indeed. Foolish and strange. [Back to bored immediately] Maiden! Do you find my laugh strange? [sinister] I have a plan. Will you team up with me? [pause] If you can obtain the power of the gods...you can have a strong, large country. I'll give it to you. [pause and then a loudish shout] I can make a man who can claim that sort of power into my lord and emperor!!
Lord Kogahiko. Do you plan on going after the water priestess again? What are you going to do if she's the real thing? If we lay a hand on her, the god's wrath will be upon us...

Haruki is a sweet and innocent child who has never meet his sister. When he finally meets her he is jealous of the attention Asahi gets. His voice can be left up to interpretation however his is about 7-8 years old.
I found out I had a sister when I was in kindergarten. At my house there was a room that for some reason was off limits. The more I was told I couldn't go into that room...the more I wanted a peek. If I had waited until after school was over, my mom would've come to pick me up. So, I lied and went home a little bit early that day. I wasn't going to go in... I just wanted to see what was in there. It might be totally awesome room or something. maybe mom and dad were members of a secret organization that fought aliens from outer space. Maybe the head-quarters was in that room and it was full of machines and stuff that I’d never seen before. Maybe thy used it to get in contact with their agents all over the world...I was just gonna take a peek. Just a little peek.

Kurose is a depressed and lonely teenager who was (like Asahi) transported to this other world. He is taken care of by the God of Darkness. He is soon manipulated by this God which turns him into the main antagonist of the 7th and 8th book. He is bullied at school and his parents neglect him, once he's in this other world he is taken in by a young girl and her father who he witnesses die in his arms. His voice should sound sinister with an underlining tone of fear and before he is taken under the darkness gods wing he should sound isolated and alone with little emotion.
[internally and emotionless] Seriously? What a freakin' joke. Ahh...well...whatever. Nothing matters, anyway. It's all darkness. {pause and then fear] Wait what? Did I... die? It's pitch black. [out loud] No...I... I don't want to die...!
[sinister with an underlining tone of innocence] Well now, this is a surprise. I never thought someone would come to try and get you. Ah ha ha. You'd be smart to resign yourself to making me an ally. Don't you get it? Honestly. I didn't have to choose this round-about way. If i wanted, I could've just let you rot away. But that's so...boring isn't it? Even if you have the power of a god, it's much more fun if you don't use it all that often. For me...I think it's fun to control things myself. How far can I go? how far will my reach extend? I've been given the chance to test things. It's too fun for me not to try.
