"Block Tales: Swords of Time" is an RPG game based on the old days of Roblox. You play as, well, yourself! As you explore this world, your goal is to get the SFOTH Swords to save Builderman. The game doesn't have any voices for the characters . . . until now

The Main Character of the story. From Blackrock to Plainstown, our hero has obtained a few of the SFOTH swords, closing in on the next. From Kings to Plants, they've fought them all. What's next? Who knows . . .
Since the player is just a noob, an androgynous voice would work best. Their voice would sound young, but not to where it sounds like a child. Just think of a voice you'd think would suit our main character!

[Confused] I don't get it. You swore to protect your kingdom from its unavoidable doom, so you decided to plunge it into eternal winter?
[Terrified] That . . . THAT'S what the SFOTH swords can do?! It can turn you into a MONSTER?! Then, what can the other swords do to a robloxian?
Shedletsky: The man behind Roblox HQ, where you're going for your adventure . . . and forced to walk around with a cane. Even after being beaten down, he's still holding strong!
The idea behind Shedletsky is that he is a normal dude, but he has "nerdy" aspect to him. A good idea to get an idea of what I mean is Kinger from TADC. This is just an idea, not the voice direction, so PLEASE feel free to tackle this how you see fit!

[Joy] you've done so much for the people of ROADTOWN already. you brought smiles to their faces. hope to their eyes. you have quite the positive impact. i truly believe that.
[Serious] then there's no time to waste. i haven't heard any distress from the other guardians yet . . . we should use the downtime to grab the GHOSTWALKER!
A young traveler who lives for adventure! She occasionally runs into the player along their journey, and she is a great moral support when talking with her! She seems to care a lot about the player, so let's hope nothing bad happens to her!
There is no real voice direction for Kyoko. Just make her sound like an enthusiastic adventurer and you've hit the mark!

[Concern] Please don't push yourself too hard. Maybe I'm overstepping my boundaries but . . . us adventurers . . . have to stick together, right?
[Joy] You can always count on a fellow adventurer! Just keep your head high, man!
Wanting to satisfy the voices, Griefer took Mayor Thaniel hostage in order to steal the Venomshank. Rude, loud and just a bully, they will make sure nobody gets in their way to achieve his goal.
Griefer is honestly a wild card here. While he is confirmed to be 21, his voice interpretations can go all over the place. Basically, share your own take is what I'm trying to say!
TIP: Don't try to "yell" the lines, rather, focus more onto how you deliver them. Griefer's ALL CAPS is how his text appears, it doesn't mean he is yelling them.

Builderman: the man behind creating Roblox. A man so great and powerful, THEY have captured him for some unknown reason. His location is unknown, and it's the players goal to find and save him.
Builderman would definitely have that "Handyman Twang", but it won't be very heavy. The voice should also have some energy since he is promoting everyone to create and play.

[Reassuring] Come. Safety is our number one priority. Take a walk with me, and we'll discover yourself together.
[Awe] y-You're much stronger than I imagined . . . You really are SHEDLETSKY's chosen one . . . Thank you for coming to save me.
The father of Red and Blue, but seeing how he and Purple are trying to take the two back, he isn't a good one. While slow, his mace and high damage is a force to be reckoned with.
Green definitely falls into the low vocal range, but medium could be possible if done right. The voice could also have some "Gravel" to it, but it is more of a preference than a requirement. Basically, big rough, tough and gruff guy is what you should aim for.

The mother of Red and Blue, but not a very good one seeing she and Green have been trying to take the two kids back for themselves. Wielding a katana and having fast speed, she is a force to be reckoned with.
Purple's would definitely have a medium-high voice, and would have a "fancy" kind of vibe to it. A REALLY good example to go off of is Jessie from Pokémon: this isn't the voice we want, but rather a starting point to go off of.

A great wizard who ran the kitchen of Blackrock Castle, unfortunately met their early demise. With a second chance in the afterlife, they still continue on doing what they did before: cooking. However, this snarky wizard may be more than meets the eye.
The Kitchen Wizard definitely would have a tint of nerdiness similar to Shedletsky, but more leaning towards the snarky side of things. A perfect example of the voice direction is Wizard Cookie's voice from the Cookie Run series.

[Compassionate] When we first met, I didn't think much of you. But now . . . I believe you're the most strong-willed person I've met.
Tutorial Terry, the token jerk character, and his little bro Jerry, who is the polar opposite! He loves to explore and see all the good things in the world, all while, being a little bit out of the loop. Even though Terry tends to be a bit harsh on him, he knows he loves him either way.
Jerry should definitely have a medium-high pitched voice. A nice idea to go off of is Luigi from the Mario series. This isn't a direction but more an IDEA, so please try to shape the voice how you want!

Greed: a selfish and excessive desire for more of something than is needed. Everyone has it, and the player needs to confront their greed in order to move forward.
Greed's voice should definitely have a monstrous aspect to it, but it should also have that "Insane Shopkeeper" aspect to it. This voice can be shaped in a lot of ways, so have fun with it.

Solitude: the state or situation of being alone. The player has been alone for a while during their adventure. They need to confront it if they want to continue on with their goal.
Solitude's voice should also be monstrous, but the vibe should be something like a siren. It's calm, but can get messy if messed with. Once again, this voice can be shaped many ways, so do what you think would fit best!

[Confusion] I can't tell what you are
Fear: an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. The player is bound to have a lot of fear, so they will need to conquer it if they want to move on with their adventure.
Unlike Greed and Solitude, Fear shouldn't have a monstrous voice, but quiet and paranoid voice. A REALLY good example is the Imaginary Friend from Pressure: we don't want the exact voice, but rather a voice that has the same energy.

The interpretation of the voice can be monstrous or human. Hatred should have a loud and threatening voice, but it also doesn't need to be yelling all the time. A PERFECT example of this idea is AM's monologue performed by Odd Future Studios. While this is the main voice direction, you can still interpret it how you please.
