VoFT Your Turn to Die
Project Overview
This is a closed casting call for Your Turn to Die and is only available to members of the VoFT team, please do not share the link to this casting call to anyone who isn't already a voice actor for VoFT
This is the first of what will be two casting calls for this particular franchise and for now we will only be doing short comic dubs, and later we will hold a second casting call for the rest of YTTD's cast and from there we will be working towards dubbing the whole game.
If you aren't already aware Your Turn to Die (or Kimi Ga Shine ) is a free RPG maker point and click visual novel game, similar to the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series. This casting call will contain spoilers for the game, and the content you will be required to dub if casting will also contain spoilers so if you wish to experience the game first before auditioning you can download and play it here.

Sara is a strong and dependable highschool girl, but isn't immune to the pressures of the killing game as she becomes increasingly mentally unstable due to its events.
With her leadership role and personality id imagine Sara having a more mature mid ranged voice but not sound completely like an adult.
Ugh… I had a weird dream… My jaw is sore… Because I was sleeping with my head on the desk… This late already…? I have to go home… …Better hurry…
Besides... It's not that I'm levelheaded... If I'm not moving around doing something, I just keep on thinking about horrible things...
Joe is Sara's upbeat best friend who's more childish personality servers as a nice contrast to Sara's more mature attitude while still being just as dependable.
Joe probably has a pretty typical higher pitch best friend kind of voice thats loud and expressive

Joe is also seen later in the story as a hallucination Sara experiences after Joe's death. This version of Joe is cruel and unforgiving and torment Sara by calling her a murderer.
With that in mind Joe needs to also be able to sound malicious with his tone in a way that makes him feel tonally different from the real Joe
Me and Sara are high school classmates. Sara was being harassed by a stalker, so I went home with her that day. Then there was an incident, so I called the police, but… I heard Sara screaming, so I ran upstairs. And there stood that damn stalker!
Well, Sara? Can you think of any rebuttals? Don’t look so nervous! Put on your usual bigshot attitude!
Keiji is your casual friendly neighbor hood police officer, but underneath his flirty unassuming personality he is canny and observant
I imagine Keiji would have a calm and focused deep voice with a calm and collected tone
Huh? Did I not introduce myself? My name’s Keiji Shinogi. Workin’ as a policeman.
Do I look that calculating? That comes as a real shock. It’s just intuition. I’m confident in my eye for people.
I’ll keep it simple too. Q-taro, even if you do have experience, I can’t trust you. / We don’t have enough time. Time to build trust, that is. But my detective sense tell me that we’ll be just fine with Sara.
Kanna is very childish and naive despite not being as young as some of the other game participants. Kanna lacks alot of self confidence and very vulnerable but is still brave enough to face the game head on with everyone else.
Kanna being about 13 or 14 would have a high pitch child's voice that is shaky and uncertain to match her personality.

Q-taro is a complicated boy. While first appearing as easy going and friendly, we learn over time that he can be selfish and cowardly, taking favor in securing his own survival over the others despite knowing that its wrong.
Q-taro is a big boy and id imagine him sounds a bit like Nekomaru from Danganronpa but less abrasive and a bit of a country accent. (Q-taro directly states that his dialect is a mix of many since he grew up in an orphanage)

Despite seeming friendly at first, it doesn't take long for Sou to reveal himself as being trouble maker of the cast and is often compared to characters like Komaeda and Kokichi by fans for his secretive behavior.
Sou's voice needs to be able to switch from friendly and unassuming to cold and callous but other then that he'd probably sound pretty average.
Well then, should I introduce myself too? My name’s Sou Hiyori. Err… well. Just a job-hopper. Ahaha…

Reko is intimidating but sisterly and a pretty typical rebellious punk girl who shows a softer side to those younger then her.
The only way i can thing to describe how i imagine Reko's voice sounding is Marceline adjacent

Nao is a timid and caring girl who cares deeply for the people around her.
I've always interpreted Nao as having a higher pitched voice tho im more interested in seeing how other people interpret her

Kai is aloof and quiet and we don't get to learn all too much about him other then the fact that he cares alot for Sara and apparently must make some mean eggs benedict.
Kai's voice would be mid-range but a bit more propper.

Gin is a quirky child who likes to nickname everyone and end his sentences with "meow" or "woof"; Despite being young Gin does his best to be helpful to the group and face the game head on.
Gin being only 12 could easily be played by a female actor to achieve a better young boy sort of voice.

Mishima is an odd man who's appearance and behaviors easily come off as strange but despite that he is caring and tries his best to keep everyone's morale up.
Mishima's voice would sound mid-range and older. Mishima talks in a sort of creepy way that is slightly unsettling.
I am Kazumi Mishima. I teach at a certain high school… Mwahaha… Incidentally, I teach Japanese and art… Mwaha…

Alice is loud, aggressive, and childish, but isn't all bad as he is willing to be kind and helpful when he trusts a person enough.

Miley is the first floor master we meet in the game. She is sadistic and cruel, enjoying toying with the contestants in ways to induce the most despair.

Ranger is known as the "dress up doll" and was made to have nothing but negative personality traits. He is similar to Miley in enjoying cuasing suffering for the contestants but deep down, ranger secretly envies humans.
Rio would have a higher pitch voice with a devilishly energetic tone. There is also an edge of insecurity to his voice.

Safalin stands out as having the most submissive personality of all the floor masters, being very timid and letting everyone around her bully her. this doesn't change the fact that Safalin is still an antagonist force and has her own capacity to be as sadistic as the other floor masters under the right circumstances.
Imagine a Mikan type voice but not quite as high pitched.

Please be honest, miss Sara. You need salvation. You have regrets. If you desired it, you could have joined hands with Joe and escaped together. You gave that up and killed Joe. And you mourn that fact.
Not too unlike the other floor masters, Midori is sadistic but with a far more mischievous and controlling edge. He has a tendency to treat dark subjects very lightly and only seems to take on a serious tone to patronize the contestants.
The major detail of Midori to focus on his upbeat and often sarcastic tone, bubbly but threatening.

Ahaha, I'll introduce you. They're known as the Dummies. They're the tragic victims who died before they could meet anyone... Naturally, they're dolls... So they got the necessary info input in advance.
