[EMERGENCY VAs RECASTING] Dragon Ball Z Abridged: Bojack Uncancelled (The NOT TeamFourStar Edition)

Project Overview

Hello all. I’m Robert Wiggins of Butt Y Tho Entertainment (BYTE). I’m holding an open casting call for Dragon Ball Z Abridged: Bojack Uncancelled, an DBZ abridged parody set in the TeamFourStar universe. The abridged parody will be approximately 30 minutes long, and all available roles are one-time only and unpaid.

 

Synopsis:

It has been over a year since the glorious Mr. Satan bested Cell in one-on-one combat and saved the world. In order to commemorate this event, a new tournament is being held to show off Earth’s strongest and have its finalists face off against warriors from another world. But the power these extraterrestrials have may even be too much for Mr. Satan to handle.

 

Currently, the roles of Kogu and a Female Extra are open to auditions. Auditions close December 21, 2020 at 9:00 PM EST. Some roles listed are planned to be shortlisted with the possibility of other roles as well based on the volume of auditions for that character. Updates for the casting call will be provided in the case of additional roles being shortlisted. Rules

  1. You can audition for multiple characters, but only submit ONE audition per character.
    • Failure to do so will result in only the first submission being considered during casting.
  2. You are allowed up to TWO takes per line UNLESS specified otherwise for the role.
    • Failure to do so will result in your audition being rejected.

Requirements

  • Have a decent mic with little to no background noise.
  • Be comfortable with yelling loudly and saying explicit dialogue.
  • While some available roles do require the auditonee to sound similar to the TFS-rendition of the character (with the exception of Bojack), an exact vocal match may not get the role if the person cannot emote in that voice. Naturally, for roles that have not appeared in DBZA, you don’t need to sound like either the sub or dub versions of the character.
  • If casted, be able to turn in lines on time.

    Okay, I wasn't planning on making 2 updates today, but I am going to be extending the deadline for "Kogu" and the "Female Extra" to December 21, 2020 @ 9:00 PM EST due to some personal matters that just popped up that I am going to have to deal with in the upcoming weeks.

    The original voice actors for "Kogu" and a "Female Extra" dropped out of the project, so the roles are open to auditions until December 14, 2020 at 9:00 PM EST.
