My Hero Academia - Fandub/Abridged Parody
Project Overview
Star Lost Universal is casting voice actors for a fan-made My Hero Academia, centered around the first arc. We are looking for both major and minor roles.
Tone is unhinged anime parody in the spirit of classic abridged series: fast-paced, chaotic, self-aware, crude, dark, and character-driven. This is not a straight dub. We want performers who can commit hard to absurd lines, emotional whiplash, screaming, deadpan delivery, and complete comedic degeneracy.
Example of our productions: https://youtu.be/yJkEpioEMag?si=Hra0dE2F1D_3eW-U
Looking for:
Good mic quality / clean audio
Strong comedic timing
Ability to take direction
Comfort with adult humor, profanity, and parody violence
Reliable communication and turnaround
Our community Discord is open and we are responsive to questions both here on CCC and: https://discord.com/invite/qSDD9EA

(Major role) Looking for a voice similar to the English VA but characterization matters most.
- male teen
Technically, that plan only has a seventy-eight percent chance of killing us. Which is… better than Bakugo’s usual plans.
Do I admire him? Yes. Do I fear him? Also yes.
I know I don’t look intimidating, but neither does a notebook until you realize I’ve documented all your weaknesses alphabetically.
(Major Role) Looking for someone who can emulate the English VA but characterization matters most.
- male teen
I’m not jealous. I’m furious that someone less qualified is temporarily experiencing success.
I don’t have anger issues. I have idiot-detection, and unfortunately it’s always going off.
Congratulations. You survived. Should I call your mother, or is mediocrity already a family tradition?
(Major Role) Looking for someone who can emulate the English VA but characterization matters most!

Young Midoriya, remember: true heroism comes from the heart. The muscles are mostly for branding.
Stand back, citizens! The Symbol of Peace is about to **VIOLENT COUGHING** become the Symbol of Severe Malnutrition. Tarp. Now. The brand must survive
Fear not, citizen! I have arrived and legally that is all the reassurance I’m required to provide!
Looking for someone who can emulate the English VA but characterization matters the most!
- female teen
Deku is the sweetest boy I’ve ever met, which is unfortunate because he appears committed to dying before puberty finishes.
Money isn’t everything. But neither is oxygen, until you don’t have any.
My quirk makes things float. My family’s debt remains stubbornly grounded.
Looking for someone who can emulate the English VA but characterization matters most!
- female young adult
Eyes up here, citizens. Unless you’re press. **SULTRY** Then get the whole shot.
I’m not posing. The battlefield simply has a flattering angle.
That villain’s getting away! Somebody point a camera at him so I can care harder.
Looking for any type of voice/spin on this character so long as it matches the characterization (doesn't matter if you can match the English VA or not).
- female adult
Izuku, sweetie, when I said you could be anything, I meant like a fireman or an accountant.
My son doesn’t have a quirk. He does have a notebook where he obsessively writes down people’s names… oh dear…
When the doctor said ‘quirkless’, Izuku hear ‘origin story’...
Looking for someone who can loosely emulate the English VA but characterization matters the most!

There are rules for a reason. Usually that reason is someone like Bakugo.
As class representative, I take full responsibility for your behavior, which is deeply unfair because most of you are feral.
I am not uptight. I simply possess standards, posture, and functioning brakes.
Looking for any voice that can characterize the kid version well.
- child
Maybe my quirk is being really good at waiting for my quirk.
Even without a quirk, I can still help people. I have two hands, two feet, and according to mother, terrible survival instincts!
I’m not crying! My eyes are just… leaking… yeah leaking!
Looking for any voice that can characterize the kid version well.
- child
I already said sorry… with my fists. Now I’ll repeat myself.
Prepare for the flames of justice, normie!
Deku’s quirk is leaking liquids. We call him the squirter.
Looking for any type of voice as long as the characterization fits the role.

At last, my heroic debut. The beginning of a legendary career that will absolutely not be interrupted by a larger, more marketable woman.
I trained for fifteen years to become a hero. She became fifty feet tall and stole my headline with her ass.
Please stop calling me ‘Branch Boy’. I paid an agency twelve thousand yen for ‘Kamui Woods’.
Looking for any unique, fun, characterization of this guy.
- pokemon
Behold! A grotesque mutant committing a highly visible crime so the audience understands this city has villains.
I don’t need a motive. I have sharp teeth and twelve seconds of screen time.
Stand back! I have been engineered for immediate visual menace and zero narrative survivability.
Any voice that's fun and fits the characterization.

Nobody panic. The tentacles are mostly for intimidation. Mostly.
I was given six arms, no name, and one deeply unfortunate visual implication.
Behold: a mutation quirk specifically designed to make every frame legally uncomfortable.
Any voice that fits the characterization.
- male adult
YEAHHH! Welcome back, listeners, to another episode of 'Children Endangering Themselves for College Credit!'
Let’s hear some ENERGY! Preferably enough to distract from the fact that these are minors fighting industrial robots!
WELCOME, FUTURE HEROES! Today we discover which of you has courage, talent, and parents who signed the waiver without reading it!
Any voice that fits the characterization.
- male senior
I recommend encouraging realistic dreams. Something safe. Quiet. Ideally indoors.
He may still live a full life. Just not the one he has spent every waking moment imagining.
I’m afraid your son is quirkless—so this is either the end of his dream or the first five minutes of an extremely reckless story.
