Deltarune Minecraft Roleplay
Project Overview
This series is an adaptation of the game DELTARUNE by Toby Fox. It will follow the original story of the game, but with a few twists and things added to make the series more unique. It will be a 1st person semi-improv story with some cinematic scenes here and there.
The series will be produced on MarshieMonarch's YouTube channel
REQUIREMENTS
You must be 16 years old or older to audition and be a part of the production.
You MUST have Discord. This is just to make it easier to contact everyone at once. (Please leave your Discord in your audition so I can contact you if you are cast!)
Please be committed. This will be a long term project that may span over a few months or even years.
Deadlines will be short, do not audition if you are not comfortable with recording lines within a week or less. We will accommodate if you are unavailable as long as you communicate with us beforehand
You must have a good microphone. No background noise or muffling, please.
RECOMMENDED
For these roles, it's recommended but not required that you have Java Minecraft and can run 60+ mods.
WHEN AUDITIONING
Please introduce yourself before reading the lines! We wanna get to know you!
Do multiple takes (2 - 3 takes) in AABBCC format using a different way of saying it each time. Whether it be a different voice or a different form of emotion.
Make sure you speak clearly. We want to be able to understand what you are saying.
Feel free to adlib a bit. Read the full lines first but if you want to add something to them then go for it.
Put emotion into your lines. You're playing a character with feelings and personality, not reading a book.
CASTING NOTE
You may be cast for a role you didn't audition for/one not listed on the casting call. You also may be brought in to the studio as an extra VA and have opportunities for future roles.

Ralsei is a very kind and friendly prince of the dark. He's very loyal and focused on solving problems peacefully. He's usually quite calm and optimistic but has his moments. It's very rare to see him angry or distressed but it does happen.
VOICE
His voice is soft but can still get loud if needed. He doesn't yell very often but it's still important that you can do so. Vocal range medium to high. Preferred but not required: able and comfortable with singing.

(Disgusted but trying to be nice) Oh, there's a... Honeypot? Inside? ... It's full of salsa. ... Mmmm. Yummy. It's delicious...
The mysterious voice at the very beginning. Very calm and calculated with their words. Can come off as otherworldly and unsettling to some. Not much is known about who this person is, but it can be assumed that they have a large role in everything that’s happened.(We will not confirm or deny this character as Gaster until canonical proof is shown in the game.)

Lancer is a very silly and childish young boy. He is usually very bubbly and playful but can have more serious moments when he’s upset. He likes to cause trouble and play tricks on the main cast to play the role of the “bad guy”.
VOICE
Lancer’s voice is kind of specific. Instead of the typical child-like voice most creators would give him, we opted for a more clown-like voice for him. His voice should still sound like a young boy

(Loud and proud) HOHOHO!!! The heroes are already running away, and they didn’t even know I was here. My dad’s gonna make me Son of the Month!!
(slight shame) Uh oh… I accidentally started liking the enemies… Now seeing them just makes me feel round and soft.
(shocked/upset) S-Susie…? W-What are you doing here…?
Rouxls is the so called Duke of Puzzles, and attempts to stop the party by forcing them to solve his puzzles (very bad puzzles for that matter). He’s very egotistical and over the top in his mannerisms. He could come off as irritating to most at first but deep down he has a heart of gold, especially with caring for Lancer.He speaks in an Early Modern English dialect. Similar to Shakespeare's plays. However when distressed he may drop the act entirely and speak in a more normal dialect.
VOICE
Loud and dramatic, maybe a bit posh, I’d like his voice to be a lower pitch but can go for a medium one if the tone is right.

(Overly confident) Now prepare thouself. For the STRONGEST puzzle of THOUST LIFE!!
(Ranting) His son, on the other hand, is more troublesome than a fistful of fleas! He alwayst asks me the worst queries, and calleth me his “Lesser Dad.” Our relation is NONE, you little water-beetle! I placate you for your father’s sake! I do not wisheth to hear your MP3’s! I would rather listen to the sweet song of Death! (Pause. Serious.) How is he, anyhow?

Seam is a wise old shopkeeper with a very nihilistic outlook on the world. They don’t care if the world ends, and seem to have already accepted the inevitability of it. They have experienced a lot throughout their many years, the good and the bad. They hold many secrets and stories of the world and share them with the heroes. They give off the typical wise old wizard/quest giver vibes from a classic RPG.
VOICE
Medium to low pitch. Their voice should sound soothing but still rough, like an old grandpa.
