Project Overview
Turncoat is a spinoff miniseries of Life is a Table, a Halo machinima series. Turncoat focusses on Mark, a soldier for a paramilitary organization who deserts when finding information that shows the dark side of his employers. Banding together with a mysterious adventurer, Mark will have to collect more evidence to show the authorities, that is if the death squad doesn't get him first.
Turncoat is an action mystery and is a more serious take on the Life is a Table story that takes place between Life is a Table 4 and Life is a Table 5.

Mark (also known as Saber 1) is a deserter to Skeleton Crew, a paramilitary organization. Mark aims to leak information about the questionable acts of his team. He can be stern, mostly the attitude of a team leader, however he questions his actions and the actions of those around him. Mark served with the antagonists in a war before they joined once again in the newly-formed Skeleton Crew, he holds that bond dearly.
He is determined to find justice for his fallen comrades and for the potential damage that will occur the longer Skeleton Crew is in operation. Mark will take lethal actions if it means betterment for his comrades, both current and former.
(Note - Accent isn't a deal-breaker, Australian is preferable but performance matters more!)

Marcine is a former Chaos Syndicate agent, a terror organization that sought to control the world. She left in disgust for what she had done, now wanting to uncover the ugly truths she spent years burying. She comes across a Skeleton Crew soldier who offers information if it means getting it out to the public, so Marcine makes it her mission to get this leak to trustworthy hands.
Marcine comes across as rather nonchalant, a trait she's defaulted to from her days as a spy, however she does let slip her empathy of horrible situations that occur. Ultimately she is ridden with guilt and is wanting to find a way to atone.

Red Warden, or Warden 1, is a specialized soldier under Skeleton Crew. She served with Violet, Louis, Mark and the Crimson Warden in the war. Red Warden specialized in small firearms and bladed combat, she also is a heavyweight champion which is reflected in her stance and unstoppable prowess.
Like the Crimson Warden, she has volunteered to undergo increasing augmented surgery to better her abilities as a soldier. She is completely synced with Crimson Warden, the two relaying information to each like like clockwork. She is well-versed in Skeleton Crew protocol and on the surface takes on a similar clinical tone as her superior, however at her core she is a rough hothead who doesn't shy away from a fight, no matter the circumstance.

Crimson Warden, or Warden 2, is a specialized soldier under Skeleton Crew. He served with Violet, Louis, Mark and the Red Warden in the war. Crimson Warden specialized in long firearms and utilizing his weapons for any circumstances.
Like the Red Warden, he has volunteered to undergo increasing augmented surgery to better his abilities as a soldier. He is completely synced with Red Warden, the two relaying information to each other like clockwork. He is well-versed in Skeleton Crew protocol and on the surface takes on a similar mechanical tone as his superior, however at his core he enjoys combat and views Skeleton Crew merely as a second chapter in his life as a soldier.

Saber 7, also known as Hannah, is a Skeleton Crew soldier turned deserter who is aiming to get information to the informant known as Marcine. She was dedicated to her organization until more and more atrocities were committed, her morals quickly being tested.
Saber 7 believes in the bigger picture and wants to do good in the world. She understands the reality she's in and doesn't want to sacrifice her own values for a shadowy organization anymore, as such she can be a little nervous fighting against her own team, but she always keeps to her goals.

Saber 2, or Sid, is a soldier in Skeleton Crew, working directly under Saber 1. Saber 2 is very close to Mark and often will talk with him beyond their organization, openly using their real names. When Saber 1 begins to defect, Saber 2's mindset is to keep Saber 1 safe by keeping him in Skeleton Crew, no matter what.
