Hello friends! Thank you all SO MUCH for auditioning. Arri and Diana were up late last night listening to all the amazing last minute auditions, as well as narrowing down our callback and shortlists to make the best show possible.
Y’all, narrowing this down was HARD. You all showed an incredible amount of enthusiasm, talent and professionalism throughout this process, and we are so, so grateful. We really wish we had a place (and the budget) to cast each and every one of you.
If you were not cast, we want you to know we still think you’re awesome, and appreciate the time and talent you put in. We promise it’s not because we think you’re terrible. With this many auditions, a lot of factors were in play. Unfortunately, due to the volume of submissions received, we can’t provide individual feedback to everyone, except this: we love you and you’re amazing.
Before we get into the callback list proper, we have three people who have already been cast! Please do a little drumroll on the nearest hard surface…
The role of Young Larry Butz will be played by tamarafritzva!
In addition, we have selected two of you lovely people to fill the role of the Child Ensemble for Trial By Fire. We didn’t feel the need to list these as their own audition category, as they only appear in one song, so we selected from the candidates we had! Drumroll again, please!
The Child Ensemble will be played by ashley_smith and LexxRyder (Robin)! These roles will be paid $5 each.
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get down to brass tacks. The callback/shortlist is below! We will designate which lists are callbacks (and have supplemental material they will need to learn and turn in) versus shortlists (which will not have supplemental material, but have not been cast as of yet). Please let us know if there is any confusion!
We have limited each performer to 3 callbacks, as the turnaround time for the callbacks is very tight (just about 1 week). We didn’t want to overwhelm anyone with new material! All those listed below will also receive a DM with further instructions and callback materials. Please be on the lookout!
