A charismatic but ruthless arena master who lures contestants with promises of wealth while secretly ensuring many end up indebted or trapped in his games.
- male adult
Esteemed warriors, desperate thrillseekers, and lovers of true spectacle!
Ah, my dear listeners! I see the doubt in your minds. The skepticism! But I assure you, the rewards I offer are very real!
A no-nonsense military officer frustrated by the Giff’s inability to capture Vocath due to his mobile operations and legal evasions.
Many times. The problem is, by the time we arrive, the arena is gone.
The arena moves constantly, and when we finally track him down, his legal defenses are as impenetrable as his ships.
A savvy better who has figured out how to manipulate Vocath’s rigged betting system to make money off the house.
It’s a rigged game. Always. The house always wins. But if you know the system, you can cheat the cheater.
A witty, fast-talking lawyer who specializes in using loopholes to outmaneuver Vocath’s contracts and debts.
Ah, gentlemen! So, you must fight in Vocath’s arena? Fine! But at least make him regret it.
First, The Performance Clause Gambit! If your contract says you must ‘entertain the crowd,’ that doesn’t mean win.
A once-free trader who was captured by Vocath’s pirate enforcers and forced to fight in the arena to “pay off” their fraudulent debt.
I was a merchant, running a simple cargo job. We got hit by pirates, but they weren’t normal raiders
An absolutely insane Space Clown Pirate who tells terrible jokes and has a murderous heart. (Laughs almost constantly)
Why did the city guard with a lisp refuse the Mindflayer access to the city? [more laughing] Because he was Illthid contraband!
The worst kind of person; he's already rich and made more money because of his dad's wealth and now encourages others to engage in terrible business practices.
Vocath is a 100% legitimate business man. I fought a trio of Cave Trolls in the arena last night and was paid 20,000 gold to do so.
