Tree Eleven Episode 1
Project Overview
Tree Eleven is a Noir Murder Mystery told diagetically through the recorded interrogation tapes of 5 murder suspects exploring themes of Love, Loss and things that dont start with the letter L like Trust. Its 5 episodes long so if your cast as Nerassa you will be expected to return for subsequent episodes. The script is finished and you will receive it upon casting through discord which you must have for communication and Live Direction.
Some notes on auditioning, this is an 18+ production, its not explicitly sexual just R rated so if your under the age of 18 Do Not Audition. We are looking for high-quality audio so XLR Mics only. Submit your takes in AAABBBCCC Format so Take 1 3 times, Take 2 3 times, Take 3 3 times. If you do not submit your takes in that style you will not be considered. Don't do impressions, we are looking for your natural voice and if it's the right fit for the character but most importantly we are looking for acting ability.

Nerassa is an archetypal noir detective, riddled with trauma and world weary but there still seems to be shreds of empathy in her tattered soul...or is that just what she wants you to see. Flat and cold, but not monotone, this is a character who needs to spend most of the time flatly interrogating people in a tone that suggests there's something lurking underneath the surface.

(Inquisitive) She was shot three times, but four bullets were fired, the last one was found embedded in the overhang. The bullets match this gun.
(Almost like a joke but with a bitterness) Let a woman have her nasty little habits.
(Hurt, seeking empathy, but this is a tragedy you've had years to recover from) I had a friend die in my arms, when I was 19. I remember watching the life leave her eyes, I remember that, but I've forgotten what her voice sounded like. She was a singer and I've forgotten her voice.
A hitman sniper who the only thing he takes more pride in then his skills as one is the sound of his own voice. Should feel charismatically punchable and clinically divorced. Short tempered and emotional especially when the murder victim is his ex-fiancée.

(Genuine disbelief) Who doesn't like eggs?
(Growing frustration but still keeping it cool) I'm answering your stupid questions aren't I? I'm trying to help, you're just not very good at your job.
(quiet frustration, but mostly hurt, pain, sorrow, grief on the verge of tears but not crying just yet as you think about how the woman you loved is dead) I didn't kill her! I fucked it up with her, but I didn't kill her.
