Toilet Bound Hanako-kun (Fandubbing Group)
Project Overview
Hello everyone! My name is Tea!
A friend of mine and I are planning on making a fandubbing group for Toilet Bound Hanako-kun! We would love to dub the first season fully! As this will take a long time to produce we plan to release some comic dubs and more on the side in between episodes!
Yashiro and Sakura are not on this casting call as me and my friend will be voicing them!
Please keep in mind that this will most likely be a long term project!
Requirements:
Commitment! As stated, this will be a long-term project! So please be motivated and dedicated!
Please have a decent microphone! We want to make this dub sound as best as possible!
You don't need to sound exactly like the character but something close to it would be preferred, as this will be a dub of the series!
Have discord as that is where we will be communicating!
And finally, please be motivated and ready to work! This will be super fun if we all work together to make it happen!

Being the seventh school mystery and the leader of the Seven Mysteries, Hanako maintains the balance in the relationship between humans and supernaturals of the school and is often seen helping others around. Hanako is cheerful and childish and likes having fun. As he is rather mischievous, he enjoys teasing others and can be playfully perverted, though he also gets flustered easily. Hanako is shown to deeply care about his friends and be especially kind to them, as seen when he constantly helps Yashiro Nene and sincerely apologized when he hurt her feelings.

"I prefer apparition... or the seventh of the seven wonders of the school, Hanako the bathroom ghost. It's a pleasure to meet you."
(quiet) "Alright take good care of my assistant. Tsuchigomori-sensei."
(happy) "Okay, that’s fine! You must really miss breathing through your gills! Guess I better go shopping, what’s your favorite fish food?"
Kou is cheerful, direct and tends to jump into things headfirst without properly thinking them through. However, he has been shown to grow more mature as the series progresses. He is often misjudged as a bit of a delinquent or rude, but this is actually not the case. He is rash and loud but is simultaneously very kind and caring. He makes a distinct effort to be polite to girls, as seen when even though he was about to face off with Hanako upon their first meeting, he still took the time to be polite to Nene and warn her about the perceived danger.
For his voice, I don't want it to sound too close to the dub as I personally don't favor his dub voice. Just give him a middle range tone and keep in mind he's in Middle School still! You can refer to his subbed voice for an idea of the range!
(Loud) " I'm from Kamome Academy Junior High, a third-year... Name's Kou Minamoto! Remember that on your way to the underworld!"
(Threatening) "That's enough! Don't you dare haunt her evil spirit!"
(Frantic) "What the hell do you think you're doing? That's a family treasure!"
Aoi is a sweet and cheerful person who is very close to her friend, Nene. Although she claims to dislike scary stories, she continues to delve into them for the sake of cheering Nene up, as she knows that Nene enjoys them. Considering her zealous presentation and continued involvement with the tales, she may actually have some interest in them herself. She is shown to adore romance, as evidenced by her enthusiastic support of Nene's romantic endeavors and enjoyment of discussing crushes. She was also rather jealous and upset when her childhood friend, Akane, seemingly began to date someone. This is despite her continued rejection of his advances.

"Seriously? Seems like that's all anyone talks about lately."
(Shocked) "I just don't get it... Akane always used to tell me I was the one he loved."
Akane has a huge crush on Aoi, often letting emotions of his crush on her overwhelm his reasons. Being childhood friends, he is extremely protective of her and would do anything for her safety and well-being. He also has no interest in anything other than her, and is often cynical and sarcastic towards everyone else.

(Serious) "Listen Aoi.. I um.. I love you! Please go out with me!"
"I would rather sever my own head than be apart from Aoi."
"Dammit, woman! Why won't you accept my feelings!"
Mitsuba is cocky, foul-mouthed, and very confident in himself, particularly his looks, and often brags about how cute he is. He has a tendency to call people by rude nicknames, and isn't afraid to throw insults. He knows how to get on people's good sides, and sometimes acts nice to someone if he needs to get on their good side. He has also been shown to be quick to cry, especially in threatening situations.

"Shut up lame traffic-safety earring."
(yelling) "Traffic safety my ass! Where's all the traffic your face is patrolling? Was there a crash in your brain genius? Take yourself for a spin and drop dead!"
(shy) "Ahh... Just something that's becoming important to me lately."
Teru Minamoto is a second year student at Kamome Academy's High School Division and the school's Student Council President. He is also Kou's older brother and a member of a renowned family of exorcists, the Minamoto Clan. He is age 17. Calm and collected, not to mention reliable, he's well-liked by his peers.

"Oh alright... I will take your word for it.. but remember to do your duty, Kou."
(stern) "Supernaturals will always be a danger to the living. There's no such thing as a good supernatural.
While Tsuchigomori seems like a normal, caring and sort-of-meek teacher in his disguise, he is actually sarcastic, mischievous and quite short-tempered. He's also shown to be quite sadistic, having fun in threatening and scaring Nene and Kou ― although he quickly stops following a light warning from Hanako.

"Well, if it isn't Honorable Number 7.. What can I do for you?"
"Alright, Alright. I get it, Number 7... I won't torment the boss' guests..
"He had a hard time making friends so he connected with the stars."
Yako is prideful supernatural who thinks little of humans other than her late Misaki. She was willing to do anything to bring him back. She has little understanding of human and their anatomy. As such, she employed the students' help to rebuild Misaki's body and had no qualms with removing them if the body is inadequate.

(human voice/creepy) "Will you help me search for my body~? The first piece is my right arm~... I use this arm to write on the chalkboard. Hurry though... class will be starting soon."
(rude/high-pitched) "By the way, I have a name and it's Yako. If you ever call me little fox again, I'll bite your hand off and eat it."
Natsuhiko is a seemingly shallow individual, although he is not unfriendly. His motives are rather dubious, and it appears that he works with Tsukasa and Sakura simply because he has a crush on Sakura. He was willing to trick Nene and put her in potential danger but doesn't seem to have any ill will towards her.

"Kay but... what if they find out we're the ones changing the rumors? I'd be willing to bet President Minamoto is onto us too."
"Yeah... She's like this sometimes. She's oddly hard on me, I guess? Like... She's especially rough with me. Special treatment... Just for me... Could it be love...?"
Yugi Tsukasa (柚木つかさ) is a ghost haunting Kamome Academy. He is the younger twin brother of Yugi Amane. He currently resides at the school's broadcasting room, with its members Sakura and Natsuhiko.
For his voice I'd perfer something a bit higher pitched and childish compared to Hanako! Please use his Japanese voice as a reference for the pitch! (doesn't necessarily have to be that high of course)
(creepy) "I love you Amane. Want to play together like we used to?"
(excited) "Amane! How many years has it been? Ten... Twenty.. Oh yeah! We just saw each other on the roof the other day!
(happy) "Amane, Amane!"
