"The Worst People You Know" - Original indie series to be
Project Overview
This is the very first phase of the production of my indie show!! I've been developing this idea for almost a full year now. Right now, all I need is a character designer or artist so that I can have proper character designs for my characters. I'll use these for my show bible and for whenever I decide to make and get animators for the first episode (which probably won't be for a while).
The actual show is basically just Mean Girls but if they were in Euphoria (as in it's more focused on the characters' psychology). It follows three main girls, Nikola, Tracey and Cristy; Cristy being the steryotypical "queen bee" and Tracey and Nikola being followers. Then there are their boyfriends; Nicholas, Draco and Tobias. This series is going to be a dark psychological drama but also very stylized and preppy. This is a character driven show, so the plot just depends on whatever the characters are doing. And they will be doing a lot.
It has lots of themes like the usual ones: coming of age, change, etc. Themes of homophobia and transphobia. Cringe culture, love. The cycle of abuse, belonging, purpose, consent, bullying, control, and the main one being influence.

Just add your submission and discord! Ideally I'd have one person draw all the character designs and sheets for consitency, but obviously, it's eight whole characters with no pay, so if you get cast, you can choose who and how many characters your ok with designing. I have picrew designs of them just as as well just as a rough idea of how I want them to look.
