Hi there! My name is Hylactic. Paradox is a Murder Mystery server I run but we have extensive lore, and I wanted to create this series to give a more in depth look into the main cast. The Paradox universe has a very in depth story, but the characters here are the princes of hell, each looks over a circle sentencing sinners. there are 7; Julius, Mammon, Asmodeus, Ocho, Beezelbub, Azrael and Valen. each representing one of the seven deadly sins. Along with these characters we have Satan, who created the princes to look over the 9 circles, while he looked over the ninth. At the start there was an eighth prince, Cowardice. This character died early on due to being so frightened by a prank Mammon and Ocho pulled, that he output too much power, which worked against him. This led to Mammon and Ocho being outcast and ignored by the other princes for a very, very, long time. This series aims to give these stories a new life and view, and provide some clarity on some events, and of course, have some comedic skits throughout.
This series will be done in the style of "Epithet Erased" with the animation be 2d sprites rather than fully animated. ZERO ai art will be used for the series, I use it to get my ideas down in a way i can see quickly as i struggle to visualise stuff in my head, but there is 0 intent to use any ai art in the series itself

Hi all! long time no announcement! but im here now! We unfortunately have to recast azrael, the amazing voice actor we had had to leave the project, meaning the main characters casting is re opened!
along with that we are very desperate for any artists wanting to work on the team, while it is unpaid, we are wanting to make the pilot and if the pilot does well, we plan on funding the project, so if we do good, we get money!

LEADING CHARACTER
Azrael is very stoic, he isnt very expressive either. however his voice should be deep-ish and have a slight rasp to it. My reccomendation is to make his voice not really linked to the fact that he represents "wrath" so ensure he isnt excessively angry

okay so this roles a pretty big deal! we need as many artists as we can get to join us on this project. we have alot of sprites to get drawn for the characters and not enough hands to help. so! we will have multiple teams of artists. one team focuses on lineart, while the other focuses on colour and shading. artists will be assigned characters to focus in on to provide consistency to the characters styles. the first load of sprites will be alot, might even be over 100, but as soon as we get those done we would only need to make a few new ones per episode which should lighten the load of work greatly. any and all help from any artists of any talent is heavily appreciated and would mean so much to us. thank you.

Julius is very clear and confident, very prideful. when he talks he ensures he only needs to say something once for people to understand it

[Proud] So in this part of the book he talks about how not killing the cyclops led to so much horror that could have been prevented had he not spared the cyclops

ANTAGONIST
Mammon represents greed, however he is greedy in the sense of power rather than belongings. his voice should be deep and also have a sort of growl to it
[shouting] you impudent wench! Ocho you weren't meant to be seen yet ive heard rumours of your coming back!
[manipulative] Oh dear cowardice, so fearful you havent even decided on a name.
[panicked] We werent trying to kill Cowardice, it just happened, he sent out the electricity a- and then he ended up like this

Ocho is a very manipulative person, he is a very sinister character, however he does not speak in that way, he has an average voice that isnt too deep, but not high pitched either.
[confident] come on azrael! ive got valen by the throat and you have no way of getting here in time~!
[calm] oh you're an interesting one, maybe i will need to take a closer look into you
[panicked] you aren't some saviour! nobody here is! the only thing stopping us from killing eachother is the fuckin big man upstairs
MAIN CHARACTER
Beezelbub should have a deep voice with a slight rasp, not much more than that!
[calm] With those two gone i think we can figure this out alot easier
[annoyed] Oh come on already this has been a grudge between you two for eons, cant we just drop it already?

MAIN CHARACTER
Valens very calm and soft, he's never loud, and speaks clearly. he's been described as very wholesome
[happy] The flowers represent my friends!

[angry *as he isnt loud convey the anger mainly through tone rather than volume*] You and ocho arent allowed here you know that! youre the reason this even exists! he's the only one who helped me and you took him from me!
SIDE CHAR
Cowardice is a very scared individual, he was deceased at a young age so he will mainly appear in flashbacks. he should have a young voice, sounding about 17, and shouldnt be too deep
[Reassuring] Valen its okay, youre out now, you neednt worry.
[In pain] M- Mammon... O- Ocho.. what did... i.. do to deserve.. this?
[happy] Its okay valen! Asmodeus just wants to make sure youre feeling happy!
ANTAGONIST
Satan here isnt some deep voiced evil man, he can be a more playful evil, sinister would be a good way to describe it. he is certainly evil incarnate, but he isnt trying to make it known
[Mockingly] Boo fucking hoo, cowardice died, oh well, just take his spot
[happy but sinister] I wouldnt threaten youre creator, after all, im the reason youre still alive and havent been taken

SIDE CHARACTER
Abbadon is an artificial being Azrael created, she views Azrael as a dad, Azrael views her as simply an experiment, so of course theres tension. i dont have a clear view of how i want her to sound so get creative!
[annoyed] Azrael you made me, youre responsible for me, im your daughter for christ sake
[Laughing] Arbol you're so funny, i see why cowardice enjoyed his time with you

SIDE CHARACTER
Arbol was a demon who helped cowardice, the deceased prince. a point of reference for arbols voice would be the dub of Brook from One Piece, but alot more calm

celeste should have a professional tone to her voice, she is an archangel in contrast to the princes. she should have a deeper voice than average but not too deep.
[arguing] You cant mean to want to let him have reign over hell?! you made him as an angel but want to make him leader of that whole place? why not one of us? we're much higher authority than him!

Brande has a more brash voice, she's very violent when she needs to be too. she is also an archangel!

Raziel is the third archangel! i imagine he will have a slightly higher pitch, but not squeaky high, a nice mid high. along with that he will have comedic scenes and also some serious scenes, so id like a display of both!

This voice role doesnt have much guidance, so many people can audition, however i do request the voice is slightly monotone and robotic
