The Strange Case of Buck & Doe's BBQ
Project Overview
The Strange Case of Buck & Doe's BBQ is an analog horror passion project in the style of a documentary, about strange events surrounding a local Texas restaurant and its animatronic entertainers. It is heavily inspired by series like the Walten Files and the Battington Tapes.
This is my first time starting a project like this, but I'm willing to learn all I can to make this series a reality. I want to be able to pay people fairly, but I work full time at a retail job, so it really depends on if the series is successful enough for Youtube to let me monetize it. Only the trailer is up for now, but I'm in the process of writing episode 1, I just need voices and help editing to get this show on the road.
Requirements:
- Must have a Discord account for communication, receiving scripts, etc.
- Must be 16 years or older. While it won't include anything truly graphic, this project will contain sensitive content and mild adult themes.
- Must have a decent quality microphone if voice acting.

The employee in question told the manager he was leaving to go to the hospital, left the room, and has not been seen since. His car never left the parking lot.
For young Abigail Buckley, it was just a normal day. Get up, go to school, then hang out at her uncle's restaurant until closing. But today would be anything but normal.
(starts normal, then slowly descends into a monotone voice on the second sentence) In the end, it was obvious what went wrong. He shouldn’t have shot that thing in the woods. You don't shoot fawns, Sebastian. You don't shoot fawns, Sebastian. You don't shoot fawns, Sebastian.
- Lead character. A mid 40s Texan man, owner of the family owned Buck & Doe's restaurant, brother to Shawn Buckley, uncle to Abigail Buckley. Looking for a deepish voice, kind and upbeat, like a fun uncle, with just a bit of gruffness to it, and a strong Texas accent (not required to be a specific Texas accent, but if you know how to do a Llano, TX accent specifically, go for it!). Please have good mic quality and enunciate clearly, voices will be edited to be old and low quality after recording.

As for Buck and Doe, I s'pose it was a bit outta guilt, y'know? Spent most of my early life shootin' bucks–though I never hit a doe or a fawn, you don't shoot those. Thought I'd bring some life into this world instead'a takin' it for once.
I dunno about "star". I've never considered myself some sort of saint, I'm just as imperfect as the next fella. I don't expect to go down in history as some sorta hero, I'd just like to bring small comforts and joys wherever I can with my time on this earth.
They've had their ups and downs over the years–you won't believe the kinda things a robot deer can somehow get into. But they've been with me and supportin' me all this time, and I thank them, and all the bucks that got me here for that.

Looking for a medium pitched older male voice with a moderate Texas accent (not required to be a specific Texas accent, but if you know how to do a Llano, TX accent specifically, go for it!). It was the strangest thing, too. After that day, he was just...different. I've never seen a child turn into such a different person so quickly.
I'd raised these boys from birth, I could tell that something was wrong. Then poor Sebastian just...sobs into my arms. And he tells me that...that Simon was dead.
My little Sebastian built that place through blood, sweat, and tears, and it was amazing to see it grow up with him through the years. Now it's...it's all gone.

I've known Bas since I was 17, and he'd been the light of my life through all these years. We did almost everything together for a good decade or so as we grew up, hell, we lived in the same apartment for 5 years in our early 20s.
After the accident, he was just...broken for a while. Didn't want to do anything he liked, didn't want to go anywhere or see anyone. Though I don't blame him, losing his whole hunting career just like that.
Call me crazy all you want, but I will never forget seeing that thing in the woods, skulking through the bushes, and running back to Buck & Doe's to get Bas. I'd never seen anything like that before.
