The Shifts That Followed: MINDSEYE

The Shifts That Followed: MINDSEYE

Project Overview

The Shifts That Followed: MINDSEYE is an upcoming indie horror game being developed for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. It serves as a standalone prequel to The Shifts That Followed, a Five Nights at Freddy’s fangame that is also currently in development.

The game takes place in early 1984, roughly six months before the opening of Rex’s Pizza & Wings on July 23rd, 1984. The story follows a new protagonist working inside a warehouse owned by Dyno-Tec, the company responsible for the restaurant and its animatronic characters.

Set four years before the events of the main game, which takes place in 1988, MINDSEYE tells a smaller, self-contained story that ties into the events of The Shifts That Followed.

Unlike the main game, MINDSEYE focuses more on exploration, and a different approach to gameplay designed around the Game Boy Advance’s hardware overall making it unique amongst FNAF Fangames.
