The Princesses of Tomorrowland (The Disney Princesses as Magical Girls) - EXTENDED
Project Overview
The Princesses of Tomorrowland is a Podcast (Action / Adventure) follows the adventures of The Disney Princesses in an unknown Dystopian Future as they fight off evil forces and uncover the mystery to return home.
The basic idea came from imagining the Disney Princesses as Magical Girls (a la Sailor Moon) and grew from there. This fan project features many Disney characters and references. It will be a 6 episode series.

Originally from the film Aladdin - Jasmine is a local shopkeeper who initially helps The Princesses find their footing in this advanced world. Worldly and knowledgeable about certain city secrets, she has lost her old life and seeks to see her city return to the prosperous place it once was. Her voice can match her movie counterpart.

(Chuckling) “Hey I’d rather be making money performing as a freak than be stuck managing a shop in the market.”
(Escaping a Prison) "I think the Eagle wants us to fly with her! We can ride on her back. C'mon Tiana!
From the film The Princess and the Frog - A local citizen who works in Duke’s Restaurant and befriends the Princesses. She is amiable and chooses to focus on work rather than engage herself in city controversy, but she may have an untapped power. She implies that the gloves she wears protect her form. Her voice should be similar to her movie counterpart with that New Orleans accent.

(Laughs) “Girl you look like you just came from finishing school the way you curtsy like that.”
“Look girls, if you all want to be the Savior Princesses of Tomorrowland, you have my support, but I don’t have your power. I have a job and a room here, and I want to keep it that way. I’ll see you all later.”
(Huffs) "Jasmine, can I borrow your sword? We came here to break out some prisoners, so let’s get started." (Yells as she breaks off the lock of the cage)
Originally from the film Mulan - Initially, Mulan is a mysterious vigilante the police dub "The Black Ninja" due to her covering herself in all black. She fights The Princesses, but later finds herself working with them in an attempt to return to her home. She is a soldier, lethal with a sword, unafraid, and will do whatever if necessary to get home. Her voice can sound like her movie counterpart.

(In disguise while fighting) "Your swordplay needs work! Follow my lead - and you might survive!
(Addressing the city square with commanding authority) "People! The only criminal on this stage is Judge Frollo and his wicked Queen! Tell me people, what do you all fear more? A common thief trying to survive or this so-called purveyor of justice demanding bribes from your hard earned pay for 'Protection'? Where I come from, we soldiers fought against people like these, one from every household! And you can too!"
(Explaining a Shrine statue) "Well that Dragon is actually an ancient guardian. I had one myself in China who protected me - until he tried to sabotage my marriage, but that’s another - less interesting story."
Originally from the movie The Little Mermaid - A Mermaid from Captain Hook’s Freak Show, somewhat of a celebrity, who eventually provides information for The Princesses and possible entry to the Matterhorn Mountain, if she can only find a way to grow some human legs. Her voice can match her movie counterpart.

(Performing for her audience) “Thank you all! I’m so happy to be part of your world. And you can take part of OUR world home with you by visiting the gift stand.”
(Speaking to the Princesses) “You would have to break the Queen’s spell. But I’ve never seen her. I’ve been close to the Castle. It’s on Matterhorn Mountain on the other side of the river. There’s coves on certain ends I’ve swam to with guards on the lookout. A dark magic shield prevents anyone from teleporting there. Even if you could - Just the two of you? I wouldn’t face the Queen even if Captain Hook’s entire crew was behind me. Believe me, he’s thought about it. But you didn’t hear that from me.”
"I had a feeling I’d see you all again so I stayed behind and summoned Hook to come back. Jasmine found me and told us about the attack."
Originally from the film Hunchback of Notre Dame - The Captain of the Guards, admired by some of the girls for his looks, and fairly personable, though focused on his job and an adversary to the Princesses. His family went missing some time back and he develops feelings for Snow White. His voice should match that of his movie counterpart (played by Kevin Kline).

(Speaking to the Princesses) “The Black Ninja is a vigilante who dresses in all black - hence why he’s called The Black Ninja. He’s wanted for stealing, defacing property, and possibly graffitting the walls with “Judge Frollo Smells.” (Chuckles) Needless to say, The Judge wasn’t too amused by that.”
(Agitated with his superior) “What’s wrong with me? All due respect Sir, you’re the one calling for a barbaric beheading in the town square.”
(Arguing with Snow White) "Listen to me! The rest of the force doesn’t know I came here to see you. You helped me back on Captain Hook’s ship and - I don’t want to have to turn you in for what you did at the Square. Please I am begging you! Just tell me where The Black Ninja is. Save yourself - and your friends."
Originally from the film Peter Pan - A notable crew-member of Captain Hook’s Freak Show who can fly and speaks in rhyme. He is sweet on Aurora and attempts to flirt with her between his appearances in the Freak Show. He wields a knife. He has aged up to a young adult but his voice can still sound youthful.

(Performing for the audience) “Welcome boys and girls and enjoy the sound / of Captain Hook’s freak show, the best show around! / And now dear patrons, take a close look / here’s your master of ceremonies, Captain James Hook!
From the movie Pinocchio - A living wooden boy, a puppet and performer in Captain Hook’s Freak Show. Despite his small stature, he is brave and willing to fight with his crew. He has a young voice similar to his movie counterpart.

"Oh I’ve never broken a rule in my life! (Nose grows) Ah! My nose is growing again."
Originally From Princess and the Frog - The crusty owner of the restaurant the Princesses work at. While he means well in helping them, his priority is a clean well run restaurant so he can attract customers and make more money, so he often barks orders at everyone. He’s an older man with a raspy voice.

“I can’t open the restaurant unless it’s cleaned, the health inspector will come down hard on me. I’m paying you two room and board to clean, not to have slumber parties. Don’t make me regret my generosity!”
(Stove is on fire) “Ah! Tiana! The stove is acting up again!”
A small role - an officer and executioner with the force. He is no nonsense and very unsympathetic except to do his job and is loyal to Frollo’s commands. His voice has a deep dignified quality (possibly done in a British accent) with a hint of rasp to it.
