The Oracles: Voice Actors (APR-MAY)
Project Overview
The Oracles is an indie fantasy animation. We are a dedicated team that has been working for about over a year (Since August 2022) and we have decided to step it up and expand our team. We would love it if you could join us in this journey to making something entertaining and diverse for those who grew up in the our generation.
Requirements:
1. You must be at least 13 to join us. This is because we range from ages 13-18 and we don't want parents and/or immature minors to cause us trouble.
2. You must have both a Discord Account and a Google Account. These are essential and we request once you join that you make an account.
3. You must be able to work professionally. Despite how friendly we are, we must recognise that we don't know each other personally and so must separate our personal lives from our online lives.
4. You must be able to work on deadlines as short as one week and self manage. We have systems in place to check up on you, However if you are not accountable for yourself the blame is on you.
Things to know:
1. We are a global group and have a range of timezones, so you will work with a range of people but you must speak english fluently!
2. This project is LGBTQ+ friendly and a few of the characters are LGBTQ+. Therefore, if you're not comfortable with that, we suggest not auditioning for the project.
3. We conduct an interview before you begin.
4. You need to agree to our code of conduct once your fully initiated.

The Project logline:
In the mediaeval fantasy setting of Oraclan, it has been 17 years after the outbreak of a deadly famine across the land caused by the powerful Emerald Queen. Oracle Witch Lavender, Snakepin Clan Warrior Madeline, and Celestrian Princess Scianna are forced to work together to prevent a war between the four kingdoms of the four magics, but soon discover there are demonic forces pulling the strings.

King and Ruler of the Kingdom of Celestria, Richard spends half of his time ruling, and half of his time trying to manage his crazy wife. A damaged war veteran who’s lost many of his comrades and soldiers in battle, Richard was ready to let anyone into his life, leading to his easy manipulation to dump his former lover, Queen Elena, and eventually led to his constant state of ‘dad who just woke up and needs a cup of coffee’ energy. He loves his daughter Scianna and has a close bond with her.

Line 2: (In a fit of rage towards the Emerald Queen.) YOU’VE ALREADY KILLED HER! (Richard steps back for any semblance of dignity. Emotionally distraught by the past and the present.) You are no better than me or my wife.
A mentor and a friend, Mariposa is a caring, serious and somehow sober individual. As Lavender’s teacher, he does his best to guide her towards a future of success, but also tries to value wisdom over knowledge. Many years ago, he lost his wife from illness and hasn’t remarried since, being a faithful and dedicated individual. Mariposa values friendship and respect above all else and will fight with calm thoughtful words rather than aggressive fists. He’s a member of the Witchia council. Despite his calm demeanour, he will occasionally crack jokes when appropriate.

Search up ‘awful’ in the dictionary. This man’s picture is what you will find. Former husband of the Emerald Queen (not Elena), he appeared to be a dutiful, responsible and kind young man. However, underneath he is an emotionally manipulative, abusive and cold-hearted being with no mercy for his wife. Thankfully, he is eventually killed by Luci.

Youngest princess and royal enchantress of the Emerald Kingdom, Gemma has an extensive knowledge of gemstones and ancient spellbooks. Similar to her sister, she is a master at fooling others but will use this ability in the pursuit of truth rather than personal gain. However, unlike her siblings, she has a close relationship with her father (who is Korrie and Andre’s stepfather) Luci. Due to the demon-hunting culture of the Emerald Kingdom, Genna had a greater fear and hatred of demons than most people. However, this fear must change when she discovers that she is in fact half demon herself!

Line 3: (Fearful for her life.) No no no! Demon! Stay away!
The Queen of the Emerald Kingdom! The Emerald Queen is a motherly, reserved and powerful character, who passed her enchanting knowledge onto her daughter, Genna. No matter what happens, she will always place her kids safety, but her drive to see Celestria bend to the will of the Emerald Kingdom as a form of revenge never allows her to show her love to its full extent. As an unexpected ruler after the death of her sister, she was placed upon a lot of pressure. Especially by her abusive partner at the time, King Chad. No one really believed her story that a Celestrian Assassin had come to kill her sister, so 17 years ago, Emerald Queen had nowhere else to turn but demonic means. That’s how she and Luci met to place the famine upon the Celestrian Kingdom, but eventually that turned into love.

Line 1: We still need to keep the famine going. We cannot proceed with anything until any fragment of the Snakepin Clan is erased! (To Korrie. Commanding yet motherly.) Korrie, first light tomorrow, I am sending you on a stealth mission to plant the tracking stone.
Line 2: (Motherly and proud.) Korrie. What a glorious day. You’ve grown up so much it could make me cry.
Line 3: (Horrified. In shock.) She was killed… by an assassin- (Gasps in fear of King Chad.)
Princess and heir to the throne of the Emerald Kingdom! Korrie was born slightly before the Celestrian famine began. She was raised with hatred towards and imagined superiority above the Kingdom of Celestria. She particularly dislikes the Snakepin Clan. Korrie is a master manipulator with the ability to fool or convince anyone. Despite her parents' genuine love, she never truly believed that her parents valued her over the power of the kingdom she would apparently one day inherit. A strained relationship with her stepfather yet loving one with her mother, she is eventually driven insane by the prospect that she will never be valued or considered more than a piece in a political mind game.

Line 1: (Slightly playful.) Mum, I’m just getting a gem to make me extra powerful. It’s not like it’s a big deal.
Line 2: (Almost shouting, but still keeping composed. Really trying to break Madeline mentally and physically.) Silvia? She’s dead! Cassandra? A poor captured soul destined to be the luring siren forever! But you refuse to die. Why? Because neither heaven or hell wants a runt like you.
Line 3: (Complaining.) For the third mage’s sake! Are you going to take any longer with this enchantment?
Bitter yet with the most beautiful voice, Eris is the demon embodiment of the sin of Envy. She is one of the most popular entertainers in the Emerald Kingdom, writing and covering the most popular songs and performing at the most high class events. A sucker for fame. Yet, she holds onto a desperation and promise that one day, the Kingdom of Hell where she, Luci and the rest of her siblings originate from will one day be given prosperity by Luci. That dream is a lie, but her bitterness grows despite this.

An important figure from Madeline’s past, Lysander is the now deceased Madeline’s father and a disgraced Snakepin Clan war veteran. Despite being a caring individual, Lysander, much like Madeline, is a deeply troubled person. Due a severe alcohol dependency, he was cast out of the Snakepin army, leaving his daughter to care for the family. He was eventually killed in the Snakepin defeat, but Madeline still carries his sword with him.

The leader of the pirate crew Madeline joins shortly after her parents death, the Captain is a figure from Madeline’s past that she’d rather forget. While he appeared fatherly and as a mentor figure to Madeline at first, he turned out to be someone with awful and unforgivable intentions.
