The Omega Event Audiobook Project (VOICE ACTORS NEEDED)
Project Overview
So, my name is Anikan and I am a young writer and the director of OmegaLight Studios, responsible for the audiobook adaptations of three of my interconnected novels, The Omega Event, DragonLight Online and The Jade Stranger. These projects consist of voice acted audiobook series of these books, with each video representing a chapter in the book at about 20-25 minutes in length. We have been working on these projects for over a year, with DragonLight Online being on temporary hold, The Omega Event over halfway finished with the adaptation of the first novel and The Jade Stranger just having begun a week or so ago! It is my dream to someday publish my stories and making videos and audiobook adaptations for all of this I think is my start on this path.
Currently, OmegaLight Studios is looking for a voice actor to voice an upcoming character by the name of Dominic. Also, we are always looking for voice actors willing to play the parts of extra characters and Zions, the mutant creatures featured in most chapters of The Omega Event. So if you wanna play a survivor of the apocalypse or a flesh eating monster, leave your auditions below! Also, a new casting call will be posted later this year when we finish up this first series and move onto The Omega Event 2: Fear the Zions!
---REQUIREMENTS---
1. Be able to commit to a schedule. We are very laid back and relaxed regarding voice and visual work, but we cannot recruit any VAs who can't commit to turning lines in time for a video to be released. Things happen sometimes that you can't control and it's totally fine if sometimes you're late as long as you have a reason and address it to us beforehand.
2. Have a Discord account. We manage OmegaLight Studios in a Discord Server where both staff and fans can join and interact with each other (fans having access to fan-specific chats only due to spoilers). So if you are wanting to join this project, having a Discord account where you can talk in both text chats and voice chats is a necessity. PLEASE PUT THIS IN THE DESCRIPTION OF YOUR AUDITION
3. Have a good microphone, we will immediately skip your audition for poor quality audio
4. Be able to be active to some extent. I want someone who can communicate with me and the other people working on the project so we can coordinate our work better and ensure that each video comes out to be the best possible product it can be!
5. This is a free project. Due to the fact that this project is not receiving any sort of income and me being as young as I am, any artists or voice actors who join the project will not be paid. If you wish to provide your services it will be entirely free.

Dominic is a kind and caring man who, until the world came to an end, spent his days studying to become a chef. But as the world began to crumble and riots broke out in the streets, Dominic was lucky enough to stumble upon an injured Ryan and the rest of Anikan's group, who took it upon them to bring him along on their journey. Though confused and scared, Dominic decided to "just roll with it" and went on to become a fierce fighter and survivor in this apocalyptic world. However, he prefers caring for others and whipping up some warm food for his friends rather than running head first into danger.
(Sternly, Emotional) "Do you think I care? You have a chance, and it's better to take it rather than just die! Now let's get you some help and fast!"
(Fear, Trying to talk someone down from shooting him) "Your friend is fine. Pretty banged up, but he wasn't much better before the crash. I have him outside sitting against this tree"
(Sad, Understanding) "My condolences. If it gets me out of this country alive, I'll do whatever I can to help"
The Zions, also referred to as Mutants or "The Infected" by other survivors, are a race of creatures who serve as The Omega Event's primary antagonists throughout the whole series. They are depicted with a humanoid figure, with grey skin, bleeding red eyes, and sharp claws and teeth. Originating from a mysterious virus that was slipped into the medicine system, the Zions quickly grew in number due to their ability to easily infect other humans simply by mixing their infected blood with theirs. In the months leading up to The Omega Event, the virus managed to spread widely under the public's nose, and by the time society and the government managed to catch wind of it, it was too late. And even after the day the world ended, the day a barrage of explosives weapons were launched and crippled America, the mutants roaming the streets endured it. Some of the radiation even mutated the Zions even further, creating hybrids with armor over their flesh and thermal vision.
What we are looking for: We are looking for multiple voice actors with large ranges. Zions don't talk, rather communicating with growls, snarls and screeches. There are a large number of mutants, usually multiple appearing each chapter and so we thought it would be best to cast several voice actors to split up the work, ensuring that not every Zion sounds the same and lightening the load on each of the voice actors casted.

Beriya is one of the Russian Soldiers deployed as part of a Strike Team sent to eliminate a group of soldiers set up in southern Florida. During this mission he came across both Space and Spencer, and was talked down from killing either of them by the latter. However, he was subsequently killed in an explosion moments later by one of his fellow soldiers in response to his betrayal.
(Angry, Threatening) "I think not. You will not be going anywhere."
(Threatening, Calm) "Orders little one. I come here, I kill any Americans I see, and I give my life to see to the destruction of this country. A small price to pay for my country

Dimitri is one of the Russian Soldiers deployed as part of a Strike Team sent to eliminate a group of soldiers set up in southern Florida. Unlike his fellow soldiers, he is a product of genetic experimentation and as such has superhuman abilities such as heightened precision and strength. During his mission to Florida he witnessed a betrayal by one of his fellow soldiers who attempted to help two survivors, Spencer and Space, escape. After eliminating all three (unknowingly failing to kill Spencer and Space) he proceeded into the city and engaged in a fight with several other survivors, gravely wounding two and forcing the others to flee. His whereabouts afterwards are unknown, but he survives the battle and sets out to return home.
(Threatening, Emotionless) "My name is Dimitri."
(Threatening, Emotionless) "I don't care."
(Angry) "You are all traitors... worthless heathens who will burn before me..."
