The Notorious Network - Driveway to Hell
Project Overview
"The Notorious Network" is an adult animated series about a group of subpar villains and their struggles working for a business run by the devil. The first two episodes were made independently by me in college, and after continuing to improve as a writer, director, and animator, I'm finally ready to take the series to the next step: hiring a team of people. I'm looking for passionate, fun people who would be excited to bring their talent to the project. Some notes to consider before applying:
This is a series. Anyone who receives a part is expected to voice their respective character going forward.
This is an adult comedy. Actors who apply should be interested in comedic work, with the ability to land timing and delivery.
This episode centers around Mr. Devilson assigning the crew an extremely important task: building a driveway behind his business rival's car in the hopes it will get ticketed or towed.

If this project interests you, please apply! I'm very excited to see what everyone who auditions/applies brings to the table. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! Thank you, and best of luck!

Meet Vile!
Despite having unusual qualities for a villain–being sensitive, passionate, and a little dim–Vile’s determination has made him the unofficial leader of the Notorious Network’s lowest performing branch. This title creates tension between Vile and certain colleagues, and leaves him to blame when something inevitably goes wrong. Luckily, his infallible passion for creating change and making a name for himself helps him keep his head high in the corrupt world he lives.
- Vile's voice and delivery are pretty casual/layed back.
- He's the most grounded/down to Earth character.
- He gets much more expressive and emotional when it's called for.
- male young adult
I think what Murk's trying to say is that were more than happy to help.
Uh that may be a bit of a problem.
(Franticly) OH MY GOD!! Kid, are you okay??
Meet Gerablo!
Greedy, lazy, and party animal are just three ways to describe this lovable goblin. What he lacks in brains, he makes up for with his high spirits. Gerablo can always find a way to enjoy the present moment, especially if it requires little effort. He's a big boy, with an even bigger voice.
- Gerablo's voice is on the deeper side, potentially with a bit of gravel to it.
- male adult
OH YEAH!! Now that's what I'm talking about!
Well we only have an hour, so why don't we just hit up the casino.
(Disappointed) What? I thought I was the green machine.
Meet Murk!
Murk is the most bitter–and British–member of the group. His outlook on life is one of self-pity and loathing. Murk despises the way his life has turned out. He’s stuck in America working at the lowest branch of an evil organization, but of course his own decisions are to blame. Instead of taking action to change his life for the better, he chooses to complain, be extremely quick to anger, and take out his frustrations on his colleagues.

(Angry) Oh bloody hell, this is going take ALL DAY!
(Sarcastically) Yeah I bet the rewards going to be worth all this torment.
I think you may have forgotten just how much I hate you.
Meet Sheila!
The strangely upbeat secretary to the Notorious Networks CEO, Mr.Devilson. Her pleasantness mimics that of a chipper midwestern woman. Sheila is loyal to a fault. She will always support Mr. Devilson, no matter how illogical or illegal his schemes are. She’s just so nice!
- Think "Fargo" in terms of her midwestern accent.

Ooo yeah Mr. Devilson, that's a wonderful idea!
Anything I can do to help ya out?
Happy Tuesday Mr. Devilson!
Meet Mr. Angelson!
He’s Mr. Devilson’s business rival and almost everything Mr. Devilson is NOT. Mr. Angelson is kind, selfless, and caring, making him one of the most loved leaders on the planet. There aren’t enough positive words in the dictionary to describe this guy. On top of all that, he has the voice of an angel. It’s probably obvious from the description, but Mr. Angelson is loved by all.

I hope you realize how valued you are, I love you.
I am incredibly sorry, I had no intent on this happening.
Here, let me help you with that, friend.
The stereotypical 1950's housewife.

Alright boys, who wants a scrub in the tub!
We were so worried about you.
You were such an adorable baby.
Stereotypical 1950's man of the house.

So son, have you met that special someone yet?
Honey, have you seen my keys?
(Proudly) Ha Ha Ha, atta boy son!
Looking for 1-3 police officers for this episode. Any type of voice is welcome!
Do you have something to do with this Mr. Devilson?
(Excited) Oh my god, Mr. Angelson, what are you doing here!
(Yelling) Hey! There's some villains over there!
I'm looking for background artists who are able to replicate my style. As long as you're able to match the background of the series, I don't care what program or methods you use. However, if you do use ProCreate I can send you the exact brushes I use when creating backgrounds.

I'm looking for more 2D animators to help streamline the production process. Animators won't have to worry about finalized line-work or coloring, just the rough animation.

This role would be responsible for the sound and audio design of the project. Try to keep it fun but grounded. Remixing existing sounds and experience in foley work is a plus!

I'm looking for a composer to create an original score for our upcoming animated series. The musical direction is a fusion of alternative rock nd alternative hip-hop, with a touch of that raw, percussive energy inspired by '90s rap beats. This role is all about shaping the emotional and tonal backbone of the series through music. Expect a mix of gritty textures, moody atmospheres, and genre-blending experimentation.
You’ll be working closely with me to shape the sound of the series, but I’m also excited to hear your unique take. If you're passionate about crafting original music that doesn't fit neatly into one box, this could be for you.
Please send samples (especially anything genre-blending or atmospheric) along with a quick intro.
