The Marshlands, a skyrim mod
Project Overview
The Marshlands is an attempt at creating an environment which i felt was missing from skyrim, which is deep, atmospheric thickets of woodland which you can get lost in. This has been achieved mainly just by adding flora (living and dead) and enlarging flora already present in the game, making this area feel much more closed and claustrophobic compared to the rest of skyrim. I am planning to add many more features including interesting characters, encounters new buildings and settlements and a quest line which the player can explore this dangerous and mysterious new area

Hi all and thanks for all of your amazing auditions for the roles! They have now all been cast, it was a tough choice but I just wanted to say a huge thanks to all of you for your interest and support. I am hoping to expand this mod larger over time and add more characters so I may contact you in future to cast those roles :)
Need I say who this is inspired by? A lone Breton monster hunter from Rivenspire in High rock who has been drawn to the Marshlands of skyrim by unsettling rumours of strange happenings have been afoot there, and what might be behind them.
His voice should be husky, serious and mysterious. Looking for a northern British accent
There are things out there far too clever to be detected, let alone hunted. Things that bump in the night so softly and so carefully that they are almost never heard.
Don't get me wrong, I highly respect their causes, But they're so fixated on the most obvious threats that they have little time or care for the more... Unique.. and sinister cases.
A weathered argonian hermit from Black Marsh who has been drawn to skyrim in search of a forgotten hist tree. A fairly grotesque individual who has little shame eating things most would find disgusting. Despite that, Seeks-still-waters is pleasant and friendly and an extremely talented survivalist.
Like most argonian in skyrim I'm looking for a lightly gurgling reptilian voice in a North American accent, but being from a remote area of black marsh I'd love to hear any takes on what a voice actor thinks an accent from that region might sound like
Tread carefully out there land strider... Dont let the underlying currents sweep you from firm ground. The marshes.. They keep those they take.
Crab eggs, fish eggscrayfish, toad, muskrat, whatever your heart desires! In every murky pool lies a feast, if you know where to look.
Moryn is a dark brotherhood assassin on a secret errand from the cheydinhal chapter in cyrodiil. While he makes his profession shamelessly clear, he keeps his errand close to the chest.
I'm from the chapter in cheydinhal, absolving me of anything they might try to arrest me for here in skyrim, unless they send the penitus after me.. But with the empire's current state? The brotherhood is the least of their problems
Don't play coy with me outlander, I can see your a killer, it's in the way you speak and move. Like me, Death follows you like a bad smell, you should be careful of that.
Volgra is an Orc veteran from the great war. Once a proud legate in the imperial legion in command of the orcish auxillaries, she has long turned her back on the empire after seeing them bow to the aldmeri dominion. She now spends her time drinking in the pale mare, a place far from civilisation where she doesn't have to see her once beloved empire crumbling. She is grumpy, stoic, and no nonsense, with a hatred for both the dominion and the empire.
I'm looking for a fairly firm and gruff sounding female voice that would suit an Orc legion commander
(growls) what do you want, meat? Can't you see I'm trying to drink here? Either get me another drink or get out of my sight.
I fought the dominion for years, and for what? The blood and lives of my kin paid for the emperor to lick their boots. I turned my back on the empire long ago. When the septim bloodline died in the third era, the empire died with it.
Branwen is the proud Breton owner of the Pale horse Inn. Well aware of its reputation, she doesn't try to hide it and proudly serves ale to the shady bunch that drink there. She is knowledgeable about the local marshes, and provides the player with help. Though she won't admit it fully, she is a powerful and dangerous witch.
Branwen is a fairly young but mysterious innkeeper that doesn't try to be too friendly or accommodating with a fairly uncaring manner. She has an affinity for life's more shady people and places
Welcome to the pale horse stranger, a steed as fine as any to carry all your woes and burdens into the afterlife. What'll your poison be?
What you see is what you get. If you don't like it, you head off down the road to The Moorside inn. That's the place for gentle folk, noble heroes and the oh so pure blooded sons and daughters of skyrim.. Here at the pale horse we cater for.. Everyone else.
