Project Overview
What are The Kranken Archives?
The Kranken Archives is a VHS horror series, which is a retelling of "The Walten Files". You can find the original here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2PqTT9wl9M&list=PLS2QQK4hEK511TJjrkH8L12UYsVnOfgQs .
Times, Dates, and Events are changed. However, The Kranken Archives brings a lot of new material as well.
Auditioning:
1. Roles will be accompanied by LT meaning Long-Term, or ST meaning Short-Term
2. Short-Term roles are roles that will most likely be roles in one tape only, whereas Long- Term roles are in multiple tapes.
3. If a role has things like yelling or screaming, in the description there will be a warning that looks something like this: (Includes: Yelling, Screaming, etc.)
4. The word count is in regards to the first tape only.
5. Include your Discord tag with your audition.
Once You've Been Casted:
1. A message will be sent to you on CCC saying that you've got the part, and you will be sent a Discord tag so that we can communicate from there.
2. A breakdown of what happens in the tape (a synopsis of sorts) and the script, to which you will record your lines and send them off.
3. The lines will be reviewed to see if any changes or tweaks with the performance need to be made, and if all is right with the performance then that is the end of the process
4. For future tapes (If your role is long term) once the script is finished, times will be worked out for VA's to record their lines.

Felix Kranken is a man whose life is rapidly falling apart right in front of him. Normally he talks to a few people, but the only true friend he has is Jack Walten. When complications get in the way of that, as well as his relationship with what was soon to be his wife, his mind is becomes warped and his delusions worsen.

Tomorrow, we have to get the animatronics out of the building.
(panicked) Hurry up, we've got to move this stuff to K-9 ASAP!
(distraught/sorrowful) Linda I.... I didn't mean to....
Father of 3, Husband of Rosemary Walten. Best friends with Felix, but that bridge is shaky as Jack begins to discover the truth...

(frustrated, on the breaking point) Felix. I need you to tell me the truth. Where. Are. ED. AND. MOLLY.
Linda Thompson is the former wife of Felix Kranken. She and Felix have been happily married for 3 years, until Felix starts to act strangely. So strangely, he doesn't feel like the same person anymore.
Recently, he's been acting strange.
Can I talk to you about something?
Goodbye Felix. I wish it didn't have to be this way.
Rosemary Walten is a mother of 3, and is married to Jack Walten. She doesn't know too much about Felix but is very skeptical.
(Includes: Screaming)
(NOTE: Something happens in this tape that may prevent her from coming up in the future, but she may appear in flashbacks.)
Me and Sophie just got back from the Dentist office.
(annoyed) He's still not picking up?
(Inquisitive) How long have you known Felix?
Ashley Parks works for BSI, and is an outgoing person.
(In later tapes may include: Screaming, Yelling.)
Felix said we have to get the Animatronics to the K-9 by tomorrow.
I don't think shining a light at it is a good idea, Kevin.
(confused) I don't remember seeing this animatronic before...
A BSI employee who works alongside Ashley and Kevin. She only speaks when she has to, but that doesn't necessarily mean she is shy.
(Note: Whilst this role is listed as short term, she may appear in one or two more tapes.)
The only reason im here at 3 in the morning is because the paycheck is good.
Are all of them on the truck? I've got a fat nap scheduled 5 minutes from now.
What's up with Felix's car?
Kevin works with Ashley and Hillary at BSI. Kevin is outgoing and looks for the best in every situation, even if he is being sarcastic.
Looks like we are going to have to move heavy animatronics at 3 in the morning. Sounds great!
We are getting paid overtime for this, right?
Hey, it's something to do I guess.
Officer Grandsmen is the officer who has put together evidence in order to convict Felix Kranken of multiple crimes which he believes he can prove that Felix Kranken has committed with video evidence.
(Note: This role doesn't have many lines, but that doesn't mean that it is not an important role.)
This is the first of many tapes that will prove that Felix Kranken isn't the man you think he is.
How much more do you need? This is recorded, clear as day. He is not innocent.
(enraged) I know he is guilty of these crimes, and I will make sure he is behind bars!
The Commercial VO Guy for Bunny Smiles is enthusiastic and outgoing, he could probably sell you your own shoe if he wanted to.
(This role is long term, whilst it doesn't have as many lines as much as other roles, it still shows up quite a bit.)
