The Golden Pirate - Adventures At Dawn (Animation Version)
Project Overview
Inspired by the official mascot of GCS92, all of the mysteries of the Golden Pirate is finally answered in this prequel. Prior to releasing the new anime remake to the Adventures in the Caribbean, the Adventures at Dawn presents the Golden Pirate's childhood and how he became the pirate captain we know today.
A young boy learns his way of navigating on ships as he grows up with his adopted father who is an old fisherman. He eventually joined the merchant fleets after his talent was recognised, but fate changed when his ship was attacked by pirates. He must develop courage as he faces his new enemies and eventually become the Golden Pirate.
This project is currently being tested as a visual novel to later turn into an animation. The series will be uploaded on YouTube and Vimeo.
Each part of the series will involve 10-15 minute videos with up to 10 episodes planned. However, this is may change slightly after editing and cutting.
Project should be completed in about a year with due dates for each episode within a month. You work through this project episode by episode. After receiving the script for one episode, it typically needs to be done within a month.

First Episode in Progress!
The Golden Pirate Adventures At Dawn has begun making progress with Episode 1. Voice actors have been selected. Frames, sound effects, and soundtrack have also been selected to make this prequel a great adventure. Expected release date will be early 2019.

A boy who grew up with Captain James because his real parents abandoned him and left him on his ship. Captain James made him responsible to keep an eye on Golden and trained him to fight because he only knows how to sail.
He and Golden (teen) teamed up and stayed together throughout the time with Captain James, La Buse, and Calico Jack.
At the first meeting with Golden (teen), he was 16 years old.
Kidd: (defeats Golden in their first wooden sword fight) If this was a real fight and I'm a realpirate, you would have lost and you would be dead. You need to try to protect yourself and to fight back! Otherwise, your first fight will surely be your last.
Kidd: (after recruited and treated terribly by La Buse and his men, tries to calm Golden (teen) down) Wait, Josué! Calm down! Maybe I can . . . (interrupted by Golden (teen))
Kidd: (convinced by La Buse and was marooned with Golden (teen) due to Golden's crazy antics, he holds up a gun) This gun has only one shot and I think I should use it on you! At least it saves you the starving, but La Buse thinks you are crazy and I think I should agree with him!

The merry, drunken pirate of this series who found Golden (teen) and Kidd on the "inhabitant" island. Originally searching for treasure, he takes them on only with their decision to enjoy a merry life. Calico Jack helped Golden (teen) to see a brighter life unlike La Buse.
You can use something like Captain Jack Sparrow as inspiration, but try to go for something different as well. ^^
Calico Jack: (meets Golden (teen) and Kidd) Oh....I didn't know there are savages here! Pardon me! (turns around and his interrupted)
Calico Jack: Come and sail with us and we will have a great time!

After thanking him, he identified him as the pirate with Calico Jack who was captured and sentenced at the time. He would rather fight Golden and it took quite a bit of convincing for him to join.
Ezra: (relieved) Thank you for saving me young sailor and what is your name?
Ezra: (angry and begins to fight) You are that pirate who they were talking about! You were with Calico Jack! You should have hung with him! I am sick of you people roaming the seas!
Ezra: Alright, I see that we are both enemies of the empire. I would join but on one condition! You will not hurt me and count me as your equal!

After suffering from abuse by her drunken father in Santiago, Golden (teen) recruits her and they later sneak away onto a galleon. She is around the same age as Golden who is 17 at the time.
She eventually becomes one of the toughest officers for the Golden Pirate and a very important mentor.
You can try Castilian or American accents for the auditions.
Angelica: (crying) It's.....It's just that my father.....
Angelica: (talking to Golden smiling) So I guess it's like what you always say. Go for the gold, am I right?
