A boy who grew up with Captain James because his real parents abandoned him and left him on his ship. Captain James made him responsible to keep an eye on Golden and trained him to fight because he only knows how to sail. 


He and Golden (teen) teamed up and stayed together throughout the time with Captain James, La Buse, and Calico Jack.


At the first meeting with Golden (teen), he was 16 years old.

  • Kidd: (defeats Golden in their first wooden sword fight) If this was a real fight and I'm a realpirate,  you would have lost and you would be dead. You need to try to protect yourself and to fight back! Otherwise, your first fight will surely be your last.

  • Kidd: (after recruited and treated terribly by La Buse and his men, tries to calm Golden (teen) down) Wait, Josué! Calm down! Maybe I can . . . (interrupted by Golden (teen))

  • Kidd: (convinced by La Buse and was marooned with Golden (teen) due to Golden's crazy antics, he holds up a gun) This gun has only one shot and I think I should use it on you! At least it saves you the starving, but La Buse thinks you are crazy and I think I should agree with him!
