Project Overview

The Generation is an animated fantasy series that follows Adler, a teenager with the power to manipulate time. Caught between gods, immortals, and ancient rivalries, Adler must navigate a world of manipulation, moral dilemmas, and personal growth , all while discovering who he really is. With a mix of humor, heart, and high-stakes action, The Generation explores the consequences of power, friendship, and destiny.If you enjoy shows like The Owl House, Steven Universe, or indie animated series with depth and lore, this is right up your alley!

This is a passion project — unpaid, but your voice will be featured in a polished animation shared on YouTube and other platforms. Every VA will be credited properly, and I’m committed to finishing what I start.

Adler: Main Protagonist of The Generation

Adler is a determined yet emotional teenager caught in the middle of a battle between gods, immortals, and his own heritage. He inherits time magic, a gift and curse that ties him to ancient conflicts. Though brave and stubborn, Adler often doubts himself, masking vulnerability with quick wit and sarcasm. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and carries the weight of responsibility far beyond his years.

Kayden is Adler’s cousin and his closest partner in mischief. On the surface, he comes off as goofy, clueless, and easily distracted, but beneath that, he’s surprisingly sharp and observant. Kayden often spots details others miss, though he doesn’t always admit how much he notices. He’s the kind of character who “acts stupid” to keep things lighthearted, but when it really matters, his cleverness comes through. Loyal to Adler, Kayden balances him out with comic relief, witty remarks, and unexpected moments of insight

Gracie is the heart of the group. Sweet, supportive, and always ready to lend a hand, she balances out the chaos around her with kindness and optimism. She gets flustered easily, especially when Adler’s around, but that only makes her more endearing. Deep down, she wants to prove she’s braver than people think and maybe win Adler’s attention along the way.

Gracie is a bubbly teen girl with a gentle, expressive voice. She should sound warm, approachable, and just a little shy especially when speaking to Adler. Her tone should capture both her sweet, caring personality and the occasional awkwardness of someone hiding a crush. She’s also 14 years old

✂️ Looking for Editor / Compositor ✂️

We’re developing the pilot of our animated series The Generation and are looking for an editor/compositor to join the team!

Role:

  • Assemble animation, storyboards, voice recordings, sound effects, and music into a polished episode.
  • Add visual effects, transitions, and final touches to bring scenes together.
  • Work closely with animators, sound designers, and directors to ensure timing, pacing, and mood match the story.

Details:

  • Currently a volunteer role, with future paid opportunities planned once funding is secured.
  • Full credit will be given.
  • Remote collaboration (Discord/Google Drive/etc.).

If you love shaping the final look and feel of animation and have an eye for detail, we’d love to collaborate with you!

  • Ability to handle VFX, transitions, and sync with audio is preferred.
