The Fuzzy Princess
Project Overview
The Fuzzy Princess is a 2D hand-drawn animated short based on the webcomic of the same name.
Katrina is the adventurous feline princess of St. Paws who goes on a diplomatic quest to gain allies for her struggling kingdom. Joining her are her mom, Queen Felicia (sassy mom kitty), Chiro (a batty bat) and Kuma (whose love for haiku is only matched by his love of eating). Can she gain trust from humans not used to her eccentric customs?
This will be approx. 10 minutes long and will have a cartoony but simple animation. See my previous cartoon to get an idea on the style. I'm looking for voice actors who can capture the spirit. My hope is that this will lead to a series of online animation with the characters (think "Sublo and Tangy Mustard").
I have voices decided for Kat and Felicia from previous appearances, but I'm in the need to cast additional characters.
NOTE: When auditioning, a good mic setup is A MUST!!!

Jackson is a 10-year boy who likes to keep to himself, not wanting to be in a center of anyone’s attention, which became a challenge when he befriended Kat. Jackson made it his goal to make sure no other human knows about her, although that gets slipped up sometimes.
In spite of that, Jackson does fancy himself as a yo-yo champion, and likes to hang out with his friend Gladdie. Jackson lives with his older sister in an apartment.
“This is gonna be amazing, Gladdie! I finally perfected this yo-yo trick.”
“Oh don't be such a Cynical Susie! Why can't you be Glad Gladdie?”
“Now for the finale. Let me show you this trick I just mastered earlier today! It's a little something I like to call “around the world”
Jackson’s older sister. A full-time freelance graphic designer, it’s not easy raising your little brother by yourself, especially if your surrounded by talking animals that came from who-knows-where.
“Dang it! I hope the new stand gets here soon.” - Frustrated Jordan waiting for her package to arrive
“Jackson, is that you?”
“We should have a girls' night out!” - Jordan suggesting to Kat and Felicia they go out for the night.
Jackson's best friend. Her dad runs a chain of local grocery stores called “Grocery King” and dreams of following his footsteps one day, wanting to enter the world of business and entrepreneurship when she grows up.
For voice, I imagine her having a Southern Belle accent.
"No offense, Jackson, but "yo-yo" and "amazing" do not fit in the same sentence."
“ If you want to live like a King, then come work at my dad's store!” - Gladdie's dad runs a store called GROCERY KING
"What's so amazing about that?"
