UPDATE: after reviewing submissions, I'm extending the deadline to Wednesday, March 31. I loved all your work but I simply did not get enough auditions for characters like Vendove and Lia, so I want to give more people a chance to audition. I'll be casting Edurune as I got plenty of auditions for him. Thank you all for all your hard work!
QUICK OVERVIEW
Hey all! My DnD group is going on a bit of hiatus, and I want to give them a little present whenever we get back. Thus I'm looking for people to voice NPC characters in this campaign so I can make them a little animatic of the last session. The setting is your stereotypical medieval fantasy land, though the characters are a little more eccentric.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Although these are NPC characters, they play a big part in this session. There will be about a page of lines (give or take for some) for each character. Since this is a quick project that I'd like to complete within a timely fashion, understand that if lines aren't turned in by the deadline, I might have to recast! It's no ill will - I'd just really like to get this done and present it :)

The charismatic cult leader himself. This elven man has the appearance of a middle-aged scholar, and he is at the ball with the rest of the party to rub his success in their face. Given that they all debated whether or not they were going to kill him tonight, it's fair to say there's a lot of tension between the group. The main scene with him involves a dance with his former right hand man, Grigor, where they trade verbal blows under the guise of pleasant conversation.
Edurune's voice is British and delightfully unbothered, and he often has a warm, flirtatious aspect to him. He knows how to use the power of his voice and words to cut into the heart of someone without batting an eye, so that his smile hides how hurtful he is.
It's like having three pieces of fruit and one of them is moldy. You don't want to throw away the fruit because it didn't mean to be moldy, so you put it back in. Then you come back a week later, and it's made the two other pieces moldy too! You take out of the first piece of fruit and say, "Fruit! Why would you do this? I showed you mercy, and this is how you repay me? I shouldn't have left you to rot. I should've dropped you and squashed you under my boot."
Kyrann, listen. You know I'm too old for you, first of all, and second of all, I'm pretty sure you've got a little fling happening if my sources don't mistake me. ("How much do you know?") Enough. ("Like what?") There's a reason why your friend isn't here. ("Pardon me?") You heard what I said.
("I'm not worth it now?") Now? Grigor, you were never worth it. ("...What's that supposed to mean?") It means exactly what you think it means. (he leans forward) You were never. Worth it."
Lia Meadowspawn is the love interest of Aelar and the former fiancé of one of the late party members. It's complicated. In this session she finally admits her feelings to Aelar outside the ball while everyone else is inside.
Lia is coded as BIPOC, so I encourage BIPOC characters to try out for this role! She has slight British tendencies in her voice, though they do not play a big part in her voice. Her voice is low and firm.
It's not about power. It's not about what seat you own in the government. It's about who's trying to end the world, and who's trying to save it. And we're trying to save it. And that's going to stop him no matter what fancy position he holds.
We may not kill him, and we may not end it tonight, but we can set one thing right.
I know that back in Mirwyn I asked a lot of you. I asked you to kill someone that raised you, that gave you every single thought in your head. That's not what I'm asking you to do anymore - and the fact that you were willing to do it just proves to me that I'm right in trusting you and I'm right for...for doing this. Tempess Hawthorne is a member of the Cardinal Council, which is the main part of the government in the empire. She has long auburn hair and severe red lipstick, and carries herself pridefully and calculatingly. She holds veiled contempt to anyone and lets them know through a side eye and a controlled comment.
Tempess' voice is sultry and smooth, but when she needs to put on an act, she can. She is hosting the ball after all! If you want to add in a little Transylvanian accent to the English accent for kicks and giggles, go for it. Nothing too heavy though!
I see you’re already talking to some of my esteemed guests. I wouldn’t have pegged any of you to be friends with members of the Cardinal Council, but here I am talking to you...so anything’s possible, really.

Vendove Firefly is one of the oldest members of the Cardinal Council. She's an old elven mage with giant owl-like spectacles, hair pulled into a bun, and has a general Mother Wizard type vibe. She's studious and fascinated with the conversation.
Her voice should be any old woman kind of voice, which a warm, almost warbling quality. I love her <3
I understand that the crime must have been severe. But I cannot condone erasure of memories. That is simply unacceptable. To punish someone by wiping their mind of the incident, of themselves, of the guilt...where is the justice? It is simply an act of violence.

A woman, you say? Interesting...feathers? Earthquakes? My goodness. Do you know this is the first time Elli has spoken in perhaps a year? This is wonderful!
Obsidian is an earth genasi. She's confident and comedic, and is currently falling for Cora, one of the main members in the party. In this session, she amongst other members are going to a party where an old friend will be. This friend inducted them into a cult and left them scarred, so she's not excited to be back.
Obsidian is coded as BIPOC, so I encourage BIPOC VAs to try out for this role! Her voice should be boisterous and confident, with a rich warm quality.
~In the middle of a tense conversation.~ “(loud coughing) Uh, this food’s great, by the way. Tempess, was it? Awesome job on the food. (strained) I’m really enjoying this.”
“Dude, you were gonna replace my fingers? That’s awesome. I really appreciate it. I just...why do they look like that?”
“You’re kinda stepping on my- do you know how to waltz? No? Alright here, hold on.” (she lifts Cora onto her feet.) “Easier to learn this way.”
Isril is a reserved aasimar who is in the same role as Obsidian - original cult member turned against the cult leader. She just recently joined the party, and is facing the consequences of a spell that hurts her every time she goes against the cult leader's wishes. Her voice is fairly monotone, but when she gets upset, her voice begins to waver. Looking for a low female's voice, something that carries quiet power.
It's the not knowing that kills me, Grigor. It could happen at any moment. Any second I make the wrong choice, any time I step out of my role...I don't know which move will punish me.
Normally I'm against these kinds of things, but I saw the pupils of your eyes turn to slot machines and I could tell I wasn't going to stop you.
I never thought I'd be relying on a kid like this. ("Not relying...I'm like a fencepost. Something to lean on every now and then.") Haha... A fencepost? Sure, I can get behind that. Thanks, kid.
Lorawyn is younger sister of Aelar, one of the members in the party. She's hopeful and nervous, but at this party she is very clearly there against her will. After the group gets her out of the hands of Tempess and Edurune, she tells them what's going on, and they realize keeping her safe is far more important than settling old scores.
Lorawyn's voice should be sweet, yearning, and breathy, a higher female vocal. She needs a forehead kiss and a stable household :(
(frantically, on the verge of tears) I'm staying at the Hawthornes' right now as their guest, but there's kind of that unspoken implication that I'm not supposed to leave. And every now and then, Edurune comes by and asks me about you. I tell him that I don't know anything but each time he just doesn't believe me and I-

Eliatrope has been cursed with memory loss, much like one of the members in the party. This causes her to continuously lose her memories every 5 minutes, sending her into a constant daze. The only things she remembers are the dreams she has about a woman, which Flyn also dreams about.
Elli's voice is up to interpretation. She's definitely reserved, but that's the only guideline. A little dazed and lost sounding.

Mara Goodberry is a halfling girl and Flyn's love interest. She's kind of a joke character because she takes after Rem from Re:Zero (I think) so any close impressions of that would be perfect. She's sweet and soft, the joke being she'll make murderous comments while acting like a lovable character.
