Greetings! If you end up on this page, it means you're interested in applying for our Webtoon Fandub of "The Four of us" by Mai Hirschfeld! This is a little project I've thought of doing for a while so here I am bringing it into fruition!
We'll be dubbing the first 27 episodes (Season 1). If we get enough support, I might be motivated to dub Season 2, so on so forth.
Description (From the Webtoon page)
Getting crushed by your crush. Coming out to your parents. Learning that your sister is your biggest dating rival. High school sure does have its share of twists, turns and moments of high drama. To get through it all with your smile and sanity intact, you’re going to need some friends. Really good friends. Friends like Johnny, Mariel, Gaby and Martina who, one way or another, will find a way to get through their teenage years together.
Things to be aware of when Auditioning
- Must be 13+ to Audition
- Have a decent mic (I don't mind what kind, so long as it sounds good)
- Please do at least 2 takes per line!
- This story has themes of Moving on, Romance and Friendships
- There are LGBTQ+ Characters
- As for people who've read the webtoon and realize, Gaby isn't in the casting call. I've self-casted myself into the role.
Our leading man Jonathan Grillo, His entire life, he's lost to his sister over everything, even in dating she has him beat.
He's pessimistic yet stubborn, heartbroken and wants to move on. Tries to do everything he can but everything seems out of his control. To him, his actions seems to make things worse.

[Narrating your life] My name is Jonathan Grillo and I'm 15 years old. I live with my family... My house is always this noisy.
[Shouting/Screaming at your sister] That last milanesa was mine!
[Just chickened out of a kiss/Freaking Out] I- I can't... I'm sorry! I...
Out there extrovert. A lesbian, but has had 2 guy friends that befriend her just because they were romantically interested. She was shunned away, but she moved on pretty quick. She's not interested in relationships only friendship and love for herself.

[Sarcastically curios] So... Was it true what you said about a girlfriend?
[Someone spilled fake tea] Ah, Come on! I thought you were really going to tell me!
[Talking about a hat she made herself] Ah! It's lovely, right? I made it myself!
Closeted lesbian and dating Micaela
She has parents who expect her to get a boyfriend, but she knows she can't do that because she loves Micaela. Every time she tries to come out, she backs out, out of the fear they won't see her the same. She's shy and timid, yet still tries to but herself out there (key word tries).

[Johnny just mentioned her and Mica] I don't want the class to know that I... You know... At least not until I can tell my parents.
[Witnessing Gaby and Johnny fighting] Hehe... It's okay, I trust you.
[Seating arrangment, She was placed next to Johnny] It looks like we're going to have to sit together from now on...
Johnny's younger sister, she wins against him. Even in dating, she has him beat.
She likes to tease and make fun of her brother. She's the golden child and has a "nothing can hurt me" attitude. Despite all that, she's easily prone to genuine frustration.

[Shouting at her brother] Now I have no milanesa because of you!
[It's not a big deal type of energy] I like girls. I'm only telling you this so when I introduce you to my girlfriend, you're not weird about it.
[Sounds serious at first, but revealed to be teasing] Johnny! (pause) I have a girlfriend and you don't.
Josefina is one of those characters that make a small appearance in season one, but play a bigger role in the story past that. So I'm putting the casting call here already, in case I decide I also want to dub season 2 - onwards.
She's wild Reckless, makes mistakes, but tries to make up for it (key word try)
Age: 15
[Relieved] "Good you're still here. The teacher is looking for you."
The older of the two Marquez siblings, he's the typical older brother, supportive, caring, softie, but likes to joke around and poke fun at people
Age: 18-24
[I expected this/poking fun] You couldn't handle a party for too long, don't you?
[Ayo what happened?] What happened? Did anything go wrong with the girl?
[Proud] Guess I don't need to worry after all.
Isabela Marquez, mother to Alex and Gaby, and loving wife to Jorge Marquez. She's a housewife and is free most of the time, which is why she tends to hang out with Alex or Gabby, or Susi (her best friend since high-school).
Age: Mid-40s
[It's so obvious at this point] You did, but you're lying.
[Break his spirit] Honey, tell Susi what's going on or I'm gonna take your phone.
[Oh God] So he's heartbroken? And over Micaela's girlfriend... Oh dear.
Oriana, the cinnamon roll. She's the soft one in the group, sweet and shy. She makes a couple of appearances, but she's not to major to the plot.
Age: 15
[Nervous] This situation is kinda awkward so...
[Grateful] It was very fun... Everything, I mean
[Accepting] It's okay Grillo, you don't need to keep on apologizing. We just met each other, and even when, yes, I do like you... I don't have deeper feelings for you.
She's the popular hot girl everyone gawks at. She insists she only likes one person yet kisses every guy who asks at parties. Everyone chases after her just because she's a pretty face among the crowd. And she wears that fact like a crown.
Age: 17
[At a party] Wanna dance?
[Dancing with a person] The way you dance is funny!
[Nonchalantly asking] Is it okay if I kiss you?
The Mother of Johnny and Mica. Loving and caring, but can be stern when she needs to be. At the end of the day, all she does is out of love. Wife to Jonathan Grillo Sr.
Age: In the 40's range
[Petty family argument] Micaela! Just share with your brother!
[Daughter just came out, father flipped] You mean like... Honey? Mica, let's talk about it, your father just...
[Friend trying to convince you everything's ok] He missed school for three days and plans to do it tomorrow and Friday too! But you say it's nothing serious?
Father to Jonathan and Micaela. He takes pride in soccer and any achievement his kids make. A bit eccentric, but still cares for them a lot in the end.
Age: Mid-40s
[Tired of this bullcrap] JUST SHUT UP YOU TWO! I WILL EAT THE MILANESA
[Shocked] YOU WHAT?!
[Showoff] He has his father's genes.
Father of the Marquez children, Husband to Isabela. Hardworking so we don't see him too often in the series.
Age: Mid-40s
[Flattered] Aww, thank you, darling.
[Talking about work] Deadline's over. I'm free to be a person this week.
Extras, mostly background students, students that make small appearances, and mostly never show up afterwards.
(Laughing)

We need someone to mix this and make the audio sound good before. I go in and edit the actual video, in terms of applications, anything you've worked on in terms of mixing the audio, eq, adding effects, etc.
