The Forest (Cinematic Trailer)

The Forest (Cinematic Trailer)

Project Overview

Background:

This fan-made project will be around 2 minutes in length and will consist of selected gameplay clips edited and woven together to create a narrative-driven cinematic of the widely popular indie game The Forest.

Requirements:

I'm currently seeking a male voice actor with a pretty deep voice similar to Bryan Cranston's. Since the VA will be narrating over mostly wide landscape shots I liken the project to the Ozymandias promo video AMC did for the final season of Breaking Bad which you can view here as a good idea of what expect in terms of what the final result will roughly be like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3dpghfRBHE

Compensation:

This is NOT a paid role HOWEVER your name will be prominently showcased in the credits and the video’s description along with any affiliated links you’d like plugged for what it’s worth.

Project Roles: Eric Leblanc

Unpaid
Role assigned to: Airick

Leblanc is the main character of the game who’s son has been kidnapped by a tribe of cannibals following a plane crash that’s left him as the sole survivor on a mysterious island. Leblanc is meant to sound determined yet wary of his son’s whereabouts or likelihood of still being alive. The lines below are just a snippet of the overall narration which will be sent via email once the role has been cast. I’d urge anyone who takes the time to audition (and huge thanks to all who do) to not rush through the lines like there’s a time limit.

  • “Day 45

I found what’s left of another passenger... but still no sign of you. I know you’re out there. I know you are because you have to be. The amount of times I was beginning to think all hope might be lost. But that hasn’t stopped me. Nothing will. Not this forest or these people... if you can even call them that.”
