Thank you for your interest in auditioning! THE FALL OF STORMCREST is a one-shot audio drama with an estimated runtime of 30 minutes.
We’re an indie studio run by one person, so our budget is extremely limited, but all actors will be paid as listed below in addition to receiving IMDb credit. The target release date is later this year, with all recording completed by mid July. If you have any questions or need an extension feel free to DM us!
Content warnings: This show is intended for audiences 15+ for swearing, violence, loss/death, charged emotional scenarios, and flirtatious innuendo. There is no sexually explicit content.
Actors must be 18 or older to audition, no exceptions.
NO genAI, EVER. Audition files may not include genAI voices (seriously, why!?) and we will never use audio files to train/generate AI voice models, nor give them to anyone else for any purpose. We will sign the NAVA AI rider to protect all cast members.
Actors on cast will be asked to provide scheduling details for a table read. Cast communications (after the initial invites) and any direction will take place via Discord.

She’s not so credulous that she’ll believe just anything anyone tells her, but given recent events, she’s willing to give credence to claims her more rational self would have dismissed.
NOTE: This role involves a significant amount of non-verbal vocalization to indicate physical activity.

I’m not like you. I’m not a fighter, I’m just... me. Nothing special. But hey, if you say I’ve got fire, then who knows. Maybe I’ve got a shot.

Sir Voxian has worked for years to consolidate power to himself, slowly and successfully, so that the nation will prosper. The greatest threat to his efforts is the Stormcrest, a terrorist who assassinated his allies and then turned her murderous rage on innocent bystanders. But Sir Voxian has taken the threat in stride, enacting security measures and curtailing everyone’s ability to pose a danger through stricter laws and harsher consequences.
NOTE: This role requires yelling and screaming.

There are three roles, each paid $30.
The judges have two sacred duties which they take absolutely seriously: punishing criminals, and climbing the social ladder of Sir Voxian’s good graces. They see a LOT of criminals, day in and day out, so they sometimes get creative with their rulings, just to keep life interesting. Not too interesting, though- they don’t want to risk slipping a rung.
And there it is. A dissenter! A subversive, lying, poisonous enemy of the state. Do you deny it?
The manhunt is well underway. Curfews, checkpoints, random sweeps- all the necessary measures for security. In the meantime, we must continue to excise the cancer of criticism that threatens the great body of state.
Actually, we took that into account. It was a young woman, barely out of university, I’d imagine. She won’t trouble us much longer now.
