When a group of kids discovers a living dragon egg hidden beneath their castle, they are thrown into a dangerous journey across forests, seas, and frozen mountains to protect it from a rising war between humans and elves.
As a manipulative Xarion Voidreaper seizes control of the kingdom and pushes both sides toward destruction, the kids must deliver the dragon to safety before the truth is buried and the world is torn apart.
The “Why Now” (Theme)
At its core, The Dragon Riot is about how fear, lies, and power can turn people against each other — and how young people are often the ones forced to fix the damage adults create.
The story explores:
Truth versus manipulation
The cost of war and revenge
Friendship across divides
Choosing compassion over hatred
Young people stepping up when leadership fails
so if you like any of these I suggest you audtion for The dragon riot
I'm a chill person who is willing to listen to all idea's.
( for the cast the the main characters are June, meila, Chris, mya and kai everyone else has 3/4 fourths of of the lines so basicly everyone is equal)
P.S. not all the characters are in this audtions they were already cast Don't worry it was bout two people you will be fine.

June is a tough elf warrior who starts out as an enemy to the brothers. Her people have been at war for a long time, and she has lost many friends. Because of this sad past, she keeps her feelings hidden and only follows orders. Her life changes completely when she sees the live dragon egg. She was taught to hate it, but she realizes the young creature is innocent. June decides to follow her heart instead of her leaders. This choice costs her everything she has. She loses her home, her friends, and her old life. Her story shows how hard it is to change your mind, and how lonely it can feel to choose peace when everyone else wants war. ( use a Scottish accent)

Elliot is funny, very nervous, and smart. He is different from his older brother Kai because he does not know how to fight and does not feel like a hero. To survive the scary life at court, Elliot uses quick jokes to hide his fear. He is always the first one to say when a plan is too dangerous or when he is afraid. At first, he wants to run away and stay safe. But his weakness actually becomes a big strength for the team. Because he is honest about his feelings, he helps everyone else stay real. His story shows that you do not have to be fearless to be a hero. Real courage means doing the right thing even when you are shaking with fear.(a child/teen)

Strong, loyal, and protective, Kai has helped guard the egg and understands its importance. He is caught between duty to the kingdom and the horrifying truth of the Xarion Voidreaper’s orders. A Teen

KAI: (outraged) That egg’s been under my watch for months. I’ve been reinforcing the seal myself. I’d never let it die.
KAI: —no one can lie about it again.

Ezran is a blunt man who always says exactly what he thinks, no matter who is listening. While the other leaders in the castle are scared and making bad deals with the Xarion Blacksmith, Ezran refuses to lie. He stands up during meetings and points out exactly how many people will suffer because of their cowardly choices. He acts as the moral compass for the kingdom. Through his character, the story shows how easily good groups can become corrupt when they let fear make their choices for them. He represents the vital need for one honest voice to speak up against absolute power.
EZRAN: The attackers were a single group. We don’t know if all of Athermoon stands behind them.
EZRAN: And your… temporary role.

Chris is full of energy, loud, and acts before he thinks. He is the person who keeps the whole group walking when they want to quit. The world is very dark and scary, but Chris always finds a way to make people laugh. Some characters think he does not care because he jokes around so much. In reality, making jokes is his way of fighting back against sadness. Deep down, Chris is the most loyal friend anyone could ask for. He knows that if the group stops smiling, the bad guys win. His story proves that heroes do not always have to look serious or angry. Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is bring joy into a dark room.

Mya is a smart, useful wizard who uses her magic like a tool to solve real problems quickly. She does not care about grand ideas; she just likes to get her work done well. When the bad guys start chasing the heroes, Mya's fast thinking makes her very good at tracking them down. Her big problem is that she is a regular worker trapped inside a bad system. She just wanted a safe job, but she realizes her magic is being used to hurt people. She represents talented people who try to ignore politics until they are forced to choose between doing their job or doing what is right.

This character is the dangerous mastermind behind all the trouble in the kingdom. He is not a wild monster who acts out of anger or hate. Instead, he is very quiet, cold, and plans every move like a game. He watches where the people are sad or scared, and he uses those bad feelings to take power for himself. He knows that when people are terrified, they will let a tyrant rule them just to feel safe. He is a dangerous type of leader because he never shows anger; he only cares about total control. You cannot argue with him or make him feel sorry for anyone. He views human beings as simple tools to be used.
