The Dome
Project Overview
A splinter group of ViroCore scientists who believe that evolution must be reactivated through trauma, survival, and primal conflict. They see children as ideal subjects — still forming identities, more adaptable to change. The Dome is their experiment to push human adaptability beyond the modern world.

Role: Reluctant Leader (Eventually)
Backstory: Ava was the queen bee at her school — always on her phone, surrounded by followers, and living for social media. She signed up for the “science event” as a joke to boost her online clout.
Personality: Vain, sarcastic, impatient, but secretly clever and resourceful.

Role: The Observer / Animal Empath
Backstory: Quiet, bookish, and constantly overlooked. Lena was never noticed at school and liked it that way. She only applied to the competition because her science teacher pushed her to “step out of her shell.”
Personality: Thoughtful, anxious, kind, and extremely perceptive.

Backstory: A star athlete with a heart of gold. Jace got into trouble a lot, but never meant harm. He’s impulsive and acts before thinking, but deep down, he genuinely wants to protect people.
Personality: Brave, loyal, cocky, short-tempered.

Backstory: Obsessed with paleontology and coding, Eli was thrilled to be accepted into the science event. His knowledge of dinosaurs and technology quickly becomes essential.
Personality: Curious, awkward, excitable, tends to ramble when nervous.

Backstory: Ben has anxiety, a fear of loud noises, bugs, and… basically everything. He joined the program because his overbearing parents forced him to.
Personality: Nervous, jumpy, always second-guessing, but also funny and kind.
