Welcome to the world of Thra! This project is a love-letter to the Jim Henson world of the Dark Crystal. It will be a semi-regular role-playing series, using the Dark Crystal Adventure Game from River Horse while featuring all new stories from several generations of Gelfling. This is a fan project, and so lovers of the original movie and TV series are encouraged to audition; however, anyone who is interested to jump into the world of Skarith is welcome as well! I can't recommend it enough. The plan is to start during the Arathim Wars and go from there. THIS WILL NOT BE A RIGID WEEKLY COMMITMENT. Rather, recording times will be determined by everyone's availability while accounting for some breathing room.
NOTE: This is for one of the player slots, there will be a total of 4 or 5 total players cast. You are free to submit a demo reel of your range, or can use the lines provided to give an audition a go.
You will play as a Gelfling from one of the seven clans. Each has unique characteristics and culture that will make for some interesting clashes. The main cast of Age of Resistance shows several good examples of the diversity of the Gelfling. An English accent is preferred, but not required! (For example, I the GM can't do a very good one; I'm stuck with my Canadian accent) Again, reviewing footage from the movie or show is a good starting point to get the feel for your voice!
