Intro
Hello everyone we're back with another casting call for the collector series. For those who are new to the project, The Collector is an anthological podcast series which explores the themes of horror, myths and urban legends. So come and join us into the abyss as we descend into the depths of humanity's sins.

DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is July 31st. We’ll notify the voice actors who have been cast in roles on the 31st depending on the number of auditions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with this application, you can still audition, however, we strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First, have fun! We take pride in bringing together talents in different mediums to create something we’re proud of, but none of it means anything if the people involved aren't passionate about their craft.
Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- we don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice). And speaking of clean-up -- please let us handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to us.
Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favourite takes. Three is the gold standard. We have a few voice actors that would rather give us more takes, and that's okay, too. However please at least remove the takes you don't want to be featured on the podcast.
Episode synopsis
Nicholas has always been faithful to his teachings, straying away from the norms of a modernised society. But when Olivia arrives at the temple, it makes him question what he knows. Will Nicholas stay true to his belief or will this outsider open his eyes?

Nicholas is devout to his belief. He was raised in the temple and so he is ignorant to a modern society. Due to his environment he has grown up to be a shy and obedient.
Father Ezekiel said that I needed to practice my pronunciation of the ancient tongue before I can start learning how to lead devotions.
It’s best to let Mother assume that she is correct, otherwise it can be presumed that you are questioning her authority.
Lord give me strength to continue my journey towards knowledge. You a priority in my morning, awaken my mind and body each day with devotion to meet your desires. I shall always remain a vessel to your will so that one day i too can have the chance to hear you speak the words of truth. Bathe me with wisdom as i prepare to face the new day.
A young and energetic girl whose life is turned upside down when she is forced to enter the temple. She is a kind, caring and sociable person who can make friends quickly. She is empathetic to others and will try to make the best out of any situation

Father Ezekiel is the current leader of the temple, he is strong and charismatic person who is able to calm the most troubled follower into his way of thinking. He is unwavering in his belief's and dislikes when they are challenged by others. He likes to keep a calm and cheerful persona however when he does lose his temper, he tries his best to stop this persona from breaking
Our Lord, our hope, our righteousness and strength. Please kindly forgive our desire, hunger and thirst for material possessions and replace our hearts with eternal food of the soul. Knowing we may stray towards a path of sin we ask -
The world around us has become far too materialistic and so to avoid our teachings becoming corrupted, the founders of the temple chose for us to be secluded by desires. Being surrounded by nature helps us go back to our original roots
Wherever there is light, there are always shadows to be found as well.
Mother Rezel is a traditionalist. Second in command to Ezekiel, she uses her authority to keep all of the members of the temple in line. She hates those that questions her authority but respects the sharing of knowledge. She is portrayed as a stern person
Patience child. You will learn what is needed when we arrive, now hurry along
Father Ezekiel has to properly manage the needs of the temple. Although Nicholas was assigned to be Olivia’s caretaker, should any problems occur. Father Ezekiel shall see that she is properly cared for.
(stern) Nicholas why are you standing idly by when you know dinner is ready?
While Ezekiel and Rezel are seen as the Mother and Father of the temple, Malachi is viewed as the older brother. He deeply cares for his fellow members especially Nicholas as he watched him grow over the years. He is a kind hearted man who hates seeing people suffer the same way he did, so he tries to give Nicholas advice when things are about to go astray
But Father! Nicholas is but a child, he is too young to have such responsibilities placed on his shoulder
Word to the wise. It’s best to keep your head down but observe. Only then can you gain enough information to make clear rational decisions.
shhh! Don’t get too excited child, now isnt the best place to be a skeptic of our teachings. You never know who is listening
A caring and loving father that had to leave his daughter at the temple due to her illness. Her decline in health has cause Daniel grief and heartache, so he turns to the temple for help. He is a hopeful man that is desperate for results.
Honey i don't want to leave you either but the medicine you’ve been using hasn’t worked and we don’t know what to do
Safely yes. Without problems no (chuckles) You wouldn’t believe the amount of times we got lost trying to find the entrance to the temple. If you don’t mind me asking… why is the temple so deep in the forest?
Father… Will this really cure her?
