The Changers (Comic/Animated Series)
Project Overview
The Changers is an animated Youtube show created by Nerd Noxious, Sarcastic Z, and a few others. The series centers around a few teenagers who are caught by surprise by an unexpected force and adapt to their newfound abilities . The main characters include people, both good and evil, such as Cheyne, Zaire, Jerzel, Ivy, Landon James, The Xlandrian King, and many more. Each character has their own goals and motives for doing what they do and connect with each other in some way or another.
What kicks off the story?
The main story begins when Xzavier Xlander, a member of the Xlandrian race, and a brilliant inventor, dies in a freak accident on a mission to Earth. Inside his ship were the prototypes for the Elemental Gauntlets, 3 pairs of devices which allows the wielders to control 3 of the many elements, these selected three being water, fire, and ground. These gauntlets later arrive in the hands of three teenagers living in a city called Jay City. These teenagers being Cheyne, Jerzel, and Zaire.
Rise to Action
The daughter of Xzavier Xlander, named Ivy, is looking to retrieve these gauntlets in order to complete a self-set mission and pay respect to her deceased dad. While Ivy’s plan for retrieving these gauntlets are agreeable, many other characters are seeking to steal the gauntlets’ power for themselves or to impose their revenge on our main heroes. One ‘villain’ who has no interest in the Gauntlets, has the intention of getting revenge on Earth’s people for an unknown reason. His title is the Xlandrian King, and he’s been conquering planets and fighting warriors from all over the galaxy in order to build up strength to get back at Earth. This ‘Xlandrian King’ is also the older brother of Ivy. Cheyne, Jerzel, and Zaire begin training under a martial- arts businessman named Landon James in order to control and hone their ablilites.
Character Traits
Cheyne- supportive and strong both mentally and physically, but is unable to put that to its full use due to his unwillingness. For the most part, he’s pretty serious, but when he’s mad, he’s like a raging. Bull. Cheyne is the user of the Water Gauntlets.
Jerzel- Kind… for the most part. Jerzel is mischievous and sneaky and charges into a battle too soon, but not necessarily a hothead. Her favorite thing to bring with her is her famed acoustic guitar. Jerzel is the primary user of the Fire Gauntlets.
Zaire- He means well, but sometimes his jokey and his light hearted nature can get him into trouble because of his lack of being on guard. When his friends need him the most he’s serious. Loyal, brave, clevver and smart. Also, his hair need some serious checking. Zaire is the primary user of the Ground Gauntlets.
Ivy- On the outside, she’s a stern, immovable character, kind of like a ‘tsundere’, but her fighting style still needs more work. Especially when in a fight, she is way too cocky and under estimates her opponent at the worst of times.
Landon James- A high-class businessman and leader of LandCorp, Inc. His martial arts skills are exceptional, and he’s so fast they call him ‘The Timestopper’. When beginning to train Cheyne, Jerzel, and Zaire, he isn’t very fond of them, but later begins to show more concern.
Xlandrian King- Elected King of the planet Xlandria. He’s been going around the galaxy with his right hand man, Rheeso, conquering planets and gaining strength in order to live the day when the Earth finally crumbles in his hand.

This role is for assistant animators/ artists working on the series. The show will be a comic in video form for the most part, but will have animated scenes during important plot points. Then animator should use Clip Studio Paint.
Say something you think would fit
Amanda- A homeless girl abandoned by her parents and forced to live roaming around the streets until Origami takes her in. She in turn, aids in the attempt to defeat Timestopper. She’s been trained by Origami and given the name Sword Slinger. Her power is electricity along with possession of an assortment of different swords. As time goes by and she gets raised by Origami, she begins to become sinister and sadistic.
You really think *you've* had it rough, huh? Well, well... Time to end your suffering.
Mission complete... Father.
Now, let's see how long you can survive, huh?
Landon James- A high-class businessman and inventor and co-leader of Cosmic Time Technology. He’s one of the very few “Super Heroes” selected by the government to keep order where normal police forces can’t. When beginning to train Cheyne, Jerzel, and Zaire, he isn’t very fond of them, but later begins to show more concern. He can completely slow down time, but only for a few seconds. It takes a considerable amount of years off his life and damages his body. His voice is deep and slick. Think of Matt Mercer's Hit or Kevin Conroy's Batman.
I'm off to see what's going on with Origami. And *don't* follow me.
Those gauntlets don't look like toys to me. They look like weapons of mass destruction. Picture it: a legion, and army of psycho-maniacs with the power to control nature itself.
Trust me. Superheroes are about to get a LOT more mainstream.
The loyal servant and guardian for the Xlandrian King. He's gone mute due to a cataclysmic incident (that will be explained later on in the series), but he is able to communicate through a voicebox device that speaks what he's thinking. As for his voice, it sounds similar to Alfred from Batman:TAS.
We will soon be arriving on the planet Shining, my liege.
Would you like me to send out the army?
Protecting my King is my number one priority at this moment!
The girlfriend and partner in heroism of Landon James. As opposed to his stoic and hard-to-impress personality, Mira has more of a go-getter attitude, while also being extremely intelligent. She has the power to absorb electric energy and dish it back out.
A simple workout can strengthen those kids physically, but that's only the half of it. The only *real* training they'll ever get... is on the battlefield.
The government's planted security cameras in all kinds of places all throughout the city. If I can find a way to hack into those cameras, we just might know where to find Origami.
Save it, hotshot. The Timestopper's not the only one here who can hold their own.
Looking for a composer who can create a variety of songs for The Changers including remixes of the opening and ending themes. (Epic, slice of life, suspenseful, creepy arrangements)
