Casino At The End of the World
Project Overview
This is a casting call for my upcoming RPG (WIP name and WIP logo): Generations and The Casino At The End of the World
Note that the description and lines for every VA will have spoilers.
The game begins with Edison Starr, a soon-to-be-retired cop, turning up at a "Casino At The End Of The World", a sanctuary set up by Landon Vargas, a famous politician known for being a "Generation 2" Psychic, one that has yet to awaken his psychic powers. The casino was set up as a sanctuary, a haven, away from the danger of Generation 3 Psychics, estimated by scientists to up to double from the power that the Generation 2 held. Luckily, Generation 3, at the time of Edison's arrival, had not been born. Having gotten in by a link to a famous celebrity and founder of an NPO aiming to give necessities to the world, Isaiah Morris, amongst other police who were on the same task force, Edison's money is less than ideal. The only fee for staying in this "Gen 3 Bunker" is to play at the Casino 5 times per day. For the rest of the rich figures at the Casino, this was easy... but for Edison, a month after he entered, he was kicked out by Landon after a heated argument about the rules and Edison's bankruptcy. Isaiah, out of thanks to Edison, goes back to find him and bring him back with loaned cash, promising he'll "sway Landon". Upon being convinced, Edison heads back to the Casino, but the two discover something shocking: the establishment has been ransacked, everyone has fleed, and all hope seems lost. Landon, and two other major rich figures, the famous spiritual mentor Christina Burns and a right-hand-man to a mob boss, Toby Cole, were the only ones who remained. They set off to go track down whoever caused all of this, stop them, and regain the trust of the former other members of the Casino, in fear of the potential Gen 3 apocalypse and the government's attempts to weaponize whatever caused all of this.
This is an unpaid project, due to the game also being free, but if a paid version, remake or DLC is ever released, then Voice Actors and Artists will be paid accordingly (this is also dependent on the sales, of course). Everyone, however, will be credited as they wish and I will also link to any relevant social media or ways that you can be contacted/commissioned. If you'd prefer any details be excluded, please give them to me once you're cast (for example if you don't offer commission work).
This is a long-term project, also, as developing this will probably take well over a year, maybe two. I'm doing this mostly as a passion project, to be honest, so it may take even longer.
Requirements for Voice Actors:
- Good audio quality, no background noise, XLR microphones preferred
- 3 takes for each line, the more you can do above that though, the merrier. There also has to be enough variation in the lines
- I don't care about age as a broad term, but for main characters, I'd like for people within their age groups
- I also don't care about how long it takes for you to get lines in if you're playing a minor character, but Supporting roles have a 3 week limit, Leads have 2 weeks, or I'll have to chase up
- Feel free to add your own spin onto a role. You don't have to follow the accent and age guidelines to a tee if I feel like it works.
- If you use the "Match Me To A Voice" option, please specify the level of frequency you'd like (Minor, Supporting or Lead) and give as many different voices and scenarios as you can think of, so that I can fairly match one of those with a character, if I see them applicable.
- I'm looking for naturalistic voice acting where applicable, but otherwise, the game is slightly exaggerated. This will be noted next to the line.
- Every character curses and that's just effectively the way of life. Some minor child neglect topics with Arthur, also.
Requirements for Artists:
- You'll mostly be drawing characters, and there's *alot* of characters.
- You'll need to be able to draw based on the sprites for each character, and not the other way around, but some leeway is definitely given
- I have immense gratitude to all of you Artists, so no strict deadline will be given for the artwork, just ideally before the end of production (which will be a while). I'm sorry that you have such a high workload from this, also.
Requirements for Playtesters:
- You have arguably the easiest job. Any Voice Actor or Artist can apply as a Playtester, and you'll be given the game in a "debug" mode that allows you to skip to whatever part needs playtesting and you can go from there, identifying bugs, graphical errors, things that need improvement, pretty much, and you can also run through it at your leisure (provided you have the most up to date debug version) to notify me of any balancing issues. Even if you aren't cast as a VA or an Artist, you could very well be a standalone Playtester.
If you want to audition for other stuff, such as creating a trailer or working on music (which I will otherwise be doing), feel free to message me with your audition.
The deadline isn't fixed, however, I won't be casting until at least 2 weeks from now for even the Supporting roles.
Best of luck to all of you!

12th is tomorrow
Meaning that the deadline for Supporting Roles is upon us. Don't be alarmed, however, as the Lead role deadline is now set to be the 12th of January, in a month. Any characters without auditions/with few auditions will also be put under this category -
The Discord!
I'm so thrilled to see so many auditions in such a short space of time with plenty more on the way, it seems. I'm excited about the 12th, and I don't think there are many people who I don't want to at least cast as an Extra. I do want to advise everyone with Discord, though, to come and join here: https://discord.gg/GJxWxpb All project updates will be posted there, and I'm planning on having a small addition to the game for each person cast, so come in here if you want to submit your's (Artists are also included in this) - oh and also devlogs so ye
A method of auditioning for people who don't want to go through alot of hassle of going through every character
Give me about 5 different takes of your voice acting and allow me to take the wheel. Make sure to note whether you want a Lead, Supporting, Minor or Extra role.
This is the main character of the game, so I have some pretty specific things in mind for him.
Edison is a soon-to-be-retired cop who never really went up in the hierarchy at all. He's laid back, kind of sounds done with a lot of things but is headstrong and only slightly biased against the psychics, however not to a point where he won't point out obvious prejudice and bigotry towards them. He got in out of a connection, and so he doesn't sound as showbusiness as the rest of the cast does, however the further he progresses through the game, the more he picks up these traits.
- About 30 years of age
- Casual
- Laid-back
-Less showbusiness, more just wanting to get shit done
- Eternally grateful to Isaiah
- Slight distaste towards Toby
- Thinks of Christina not as a crush, but as his guide and his mentor
- Has a secret loathing of Landon
(Introducing yourself, laid back, trying not to seem like a big deal) "Oh, I'm Edison. Edison Starr." (becoming more cocky) "I worked on the Morris Case a few weeks ago and he said I could- uh-" (trailing off, intimidated)
(Taken aback) 'He couldn't really be-' (Valiant but hesistant, you want to sound like you're stepping up against someone who petrifies you) "If you want to get rid of me, you'll have to try a little harder than that.
(Raw emotion. You're trying to stop someone from doing something that could harm them, despite the fact you've hated this in the past) "LANDON- WHERE THE FUCK DID YOUR IDEALS GO?!-" (having to reject a friend) "NO, TOBY, THIS- THIS ISN'T THE TIME"
The first "party member" and one of the first characters you ever even meet
Isaiah is the African-American CEO of a major water and food-aid company that gives to impoverished countries the basic necessities for survival and law, and his has created one of the largest impacts out of any company in the world. He's a very excitable man, and is very much a bro towards Edison. Despite not knowing him for very long, he still admires Edison and almost looks up to him, despite being about a million times more famous. He travels the world constantly and, in a way, sounds almost like he's listing off important facts all the time, constantly in the frame of mind of being in a board meeting, snappy and quick. Still not too exaggerated, though
- About 40 years old
- Snappy, articulate and businesslike
- Bros with Edison
- Bros with Toby
- Business associate with Christina
- Has a love-hate relationship with Vargas
(Calling across a room) "He's with me, Vargas. Let him through." *Quiet sigh* (Exasperated, trying to just get it over with) "Come over here, don't listen to him"
(Fast-talking, ordering someone over the phone) "Requesting an airdrop on location. ETA? Right. Gotcha." (Turning to inform people, proud of yourself) "They'll be here in 5 minutes."
(Frustrated, end of his tether) "So you're this" (mockingly) "'toucan'" "I've been hearing so much about. That's great. Real great. You could've told me sooner but look what you had to go and do." (moment of heavy breathing)
Toby is the right-hand-man to a famous mob boss, and he's loyal to anyone he meets. The most exaggerated member of the main cast, Toby is constantly trying to ease the situation and takes alot from Christina in this regard. He's also a masterful inventor, and is alot less stupid than what his job might imply, being able to create advanced pieces of technology and programming the likes of world-class inventors could only dream of creating, which is the only reason he isn't being jailed, seen as too valuable of an asset. After giving out the details of his mafia in exchange for being allowed this, though, he somewhat broke inside, and has sworn to a vow of never killing anyone himself ever again, instead forcing it onto a robotic dog he created.
- About 20 years old
- Cowardly, pretends to be manly and strong but really isn't
- Tries to make friends with everyone, even Landon, who everyone else seems to be pissed at
-Has a crush on Christina
(Laughing under his breath, prideful) "Sorry, fellas, that's just Poker. Win some, lose some. G-G-" (cut off, being told that he didn't actually win, sinking into his chair, quivering voice, defeated) "As I said, sometimes ya lose some.
(Seeing someone get hurt, scurrying for something to help them, panicked) "Oh god, oh god, I need to find- Is it?" (Quietly) "Oh shit." (Trying to figure out a solution, confused) "Alright, so, this should be- okay- I have- these- at least. EVERYONE REMAIN CALM,"
(Serious voice acting, quiet, melancholy, being brutally honest with someone) "You know, I'm not some kind of laughing stock. The name Toby fucking Cole is not-" (cut off, getting angrier, not yelling) "Is not and never will be a fucking laughing stock. Do I make myself clear?" (Sounding hurt, but trying to hold back the pain) "Tell me, do I?"
A famous spiritual mentor and teacher, Christina has been featured on DVDs worldwide for her monk-like practices. In reality, though, when in combat at least, she can be hot-headed and violent, arguably the least merciful of the entire group. She inspires Isaiah, though, and they work as close business partners in getting her teachings over to foreign countries. Voice-wise, she should sound calm with an undertone of snark and disappointedness, with differences depending on the line. When she becomes angry, though, she becomes extremely angry, and without overexaggerating this, you have to show as much raw emotion as physically possible in your performance. Be prepared to yell. Alot.
- 25 years old-ish
- Calm, snarky, extremely angry whenever she is angry
- Sees Edison as though he was still a member of the police, as an authority figure
- Sees Isaiah as a business partner
- Sees Toby as someone she needs to correct
- Sees Landon as someone she just wants to punch
(Yawning) "You didn't... actually win, you know that, right?" (Off-handedly) "Well, those are the facts"
(Recording for a camera, so very calm and monk-like, zen) "Breathe in... and breathe out. You'll feel a slight tension in your upper arm, but that's..." (deep breath in) "fine." (instantaneously pissed off) "LOWER ARM, SORRY" (quietly) "Fuck me..."
(Methodical, scanning, precise) "Yeah, I see now, you're a coward. Hiding behind... what, your own daughter? And a Gen 3 at that. It's like hiding behind a slave." (Pure anger) "So let her go or Toby'll MAKE you let her go..." (even angrier, yelling, trying to be calmed down but it's failing) "I SAID NOW."
A more major Supporting role. Has alot of stuff at the beginning and at the end, but I anticipate effectively nothing in the middle outside of a few cutscenes. Still not a Lead, though, as he's neither in the main party nor is he a major antagonist. Runs The Casino At The End of the World and is thusly a somewhat exaggerated, showbusiness-like character. He's also a politician, though, so he sounds constantly like he's trying to sway someone's opinion, probably because he is. Has a prejudice towards psychics, despite being a Gen 2. Later on, however, he develops a strong kinship with his fellow Gen 2s and Lucas.
- 30 years old
- Showbusiness-like, constantly trying to put people on his side
(Going down a list of all the people at the Casino and searching for a specific one) "Name?" (sorry but not sorry at the same time) "You're not on the list." (tiniest amount of frustration) "You're not on the list."
(Wounded, crying) "Fucking- Arthur. And his- fucking- 20-whatever-th daughter."
(Dead-set, determined, putting his foot down) "You heard me right. Get out. Now." (Still trying to be professional) "Look, I don't want to make this-" (Trying to get a point across) "Fine, I'll just have to convince you this way."
The main antagonist of the game, however, he doesn't have many lines until about half of the way through. A cold-blooded Gen 2 who was previously kicked out of the Casino, despite being a world champion gambler. He was determined to be the first one to birth a Gen 3 solely so he could enact the one thing that Landon was dead-set on preventing, and he succeeded. He has been proven to have possibly the strongest Gen 2 Awakening through training his intellect and mental power to its upper limits. Arthur speaks professionally, without any sign of ill-will. To his daughter, he even speaks affectionately, using language like "Everything'll be okay" and "I'll protect you"
- 40 years old
- Has a vengeance on basically everyone in the Casino, except for Kaiona, who he admires for her ability to mess it up so badly.
- Protects Amelia with his life
(Explaining) "So, you see Landon, this is an unawakened Gen 3. Soon, they will be an Awakened Gen 3. You don't want that. Am I correct?" (Small pause, not big enough for anyone to respond.) "I am correct. Now let me back in and we can forget all this "cheating" silliness. Yeah?"
(Contemplative) "Did I really..? I'm a fucking idiot. Daughter comes first, though. Not going to ruin Amelia's 15th birthday." (Feels good about himself) "Get me a Dad of the Year mug."
(Wounded, but he doesn't sound like it, other than very slightly) "I- Wow- Landon, you'd- stoop as low as to send your- goons... on a child? Just for being a Gen 3? Need I remind you that you're also-" (quietly) "One of us."
The daughter of Arthur and his main method of attack throughout alot of the game, despite his want for her to not get hurt. If it ever seems like she's in serious danger, he'll always intervene before it gets too bad. She seems more confused than anything, however she's complacent with the wishes of her father, as you'd expect from a child who didn't know any better. Her mindset is twisted, but she sees it in such an innocent manner that she couldn't possibly think she was doing anything wrong. Her father, to her, is everything, and much alike what Arthur would do for her, she'd do anything to protect him.
- 15 years old
- Shy, janky in her speech, trying her best, though
(Questioning, in an innocent tone mimicking a small child) "Hey, dad, what does Gen 3 mean again? Have there only ever been 4 waves of people? If so, that's really special."
(Quiet panic, trying to evaluate the situation whilst everything is happening around her) "Stay calm, stay calm, stay calm, stay calm, so he's over there, she's over there, he's-" (mental snap) "CAN EVERYONE JUST... STOP?!"
(Hesitant, but firm on her decision) "No." (stronger emotion) "I SAID NO!" (beginning to die down in tension) "I'm not going to go hunt them... hunting is... hunting's for animals." (beginning to be persuaded) "Well, yeah, but-" (Reluctantly switching sides) "You- you have a point. Do I get money at least?"
A Hawaiian girl who shouldn't have been allowed in the Casino, and instead of gambling, she uses the place as a canvas for her graffiti. She plays it off as if she's not the one doing it, and instead tells Landon that she's attempting to look for the person who's doing it. She goes under the alias of Toucan, and the fact she goes by that alias is only known to those who are sufficiently friendly to her. She has a constantly innocent tone to her voice, but it's clearly sarcastic.
- 16 years old
(Trying to find something, as though she's lost her keys or something similar, clearly acting) "Another one? Where could they be hiding..?"
(Motivational, but doing it badly) "Think about everything we could do together! We could find Toucan and apprehend him and slap his wrist for causing so much pain to you!" (shifty) "But we should probably discuss this in the basement to stop him... listening in"
(Give me your best innocent whistling)
Brycen Scott is a showbusiness-like magician who pulls rabbits out of hats and turns his finger into a small lighter. Brycen speaks in extravagant ways, with long, made-up words in a similar manner to someone like Dr. Seuss. Very big ring-leader vibes, but he also has to sound like he can console people, like a therapist. Brycen is constantly trying to console Cai the most out of everyone, and is very much empathetic for everyone's pain. It should be noted that, due to Brycen being unable to distinguish one colour from another, whenever a colour is brought up, you should sound slightly unsure, as if testing the waters.
- 25 years old
- Showbusiness-y, ringleader vibes, but also therapeutic towards Cai
(Stepping up, taking a stand) "The show must go on, as they say. And Landon, I don't think you're in the position to-"
(Giving a performance) "AND NOW I WILL PULL A-" (slipping up, trying to pull it all back together) "A-... HEY, LOOK, THE HAT IS FLYING- FORGET EVERYTHING I JUST-" (exhausted, embarrassed) "Nevermind. Pass that red whiskey, will you?"
(Theraputic) "I get how that feels, I really do... I mean, my situation clearly isn't as bad, y'know, but... I get that. The genetic lottery, it hit us both... and then, all that happened and... well... feels like the entire world is crashing ontop of you." (Affirming) "Yeah, yeah, you know how it is." (Quick, trying to help someone's health) "You sound breathy- don't talk so much. I'll do the talking."
Lauren is a detective and formerly worked with Edison on the same case. She's constantly on-edge and is highly religious, believing that, for attaining her Gen 2 psychic abilities, she'll be punished by a multitude of divine entities. She constantly tries to bring Edison back to the force, and works with the government on the side, unsure of where she stands in terms of "sides". It's implied she might not even believe in the idea of one person's side or the other person's side., and that she just wants to follow her own belief.
- 26 years old
- On-edge, paranoid, but able to pretend she's calm
(Examining, carefully noting everything down) "Subject died to a bullet wound to the head. It looks to be of a high caliber. Sniper rifle, probably." (Snappy) "Write this down."
(Crying) "This... this is a test. They're testing me. And I'll be brave. I'll take it all." (Sigh) "I need to stay calm. I am calm. I AM calm."
(Holding a position of authority, commanding) "Theo, as your superior, I'm going to have to ask you to refrain from going anywhere near this crime scene." (Her voice slowly descends into mortified) "Theo, you forget what I can see."
A motherly old woman, Clivia acts very feminine around the rest of the Casino members and tries to help them with her expertise in raising children. Formerly the co-owner of a rich farming corporation, she has somewhat of a hippie attitude, and is known for being reckless in her acts that have almost gotten her kicked out, if not for her husband. She clearly is at the top of the social hierarchy of the casino, even if she's far from it outside of the casino, and will constantly try to assert this over people if they don't take her threats seriously.
- 60 years old
- Feminine, controlling, motherly and reckless
(Introducing herself) "Clivia Synnoda, you'll learn it over time, I'm sure." (Irritated, but trying to sound happy) "Yes, yes, I know, it's hard to pronounce, just bare with me."
(Controlling) "Brycen, come here, we need to have a talk about you and your tricks. They're beginning to bore me, in all honesty."
(Understanding, co-operative) "Mr. Starr, I'd be fuming right now if you were anyone else, but this once I'll make an exception. You say that Landon wants to rebuild the Casino? Even after it was destroyed?"(undertones of liking what you hear) "Does he realize how dangerous that is?"
Gnaeus Synnodus is a character who plays a fairly important role in terms of fighting back against Arthur, and so thusly has most of his lines concentrated towards the end of the game. He's a modern-day blacksmith through and through, and is enlisted to help create weapons for everyone, despite his stern will to not move from his spot with Clivia. He's cold, serious and intimidating, and all of his lines should reflect this. He also acts as the game's secondary shopkeeper, so expect some lines like that.
- 70 years old
- Gruff, stern, intimidating voice
(Introducing himself) "Gnaeus." (pause, as though thinking) "Synnodus."
(Consoling) "They're fine. Don't listen to the hag. Trust me."
(Taken aback) "We're not going!" (Becoming slowly colder) "My wife has already been damaged enough by that place and it isn't changing now."
A bad cop sent to go return Edison to his ways alongside Lauren, who's often considered her henchmen only so she can keep him in check. He should sound almost annoying with undertones of psychosis and mockery. He sticks to outdated methods of killing on sight and hanging from the gallows, and if he were ever allowed to be a standalone officer, he'd likely be kicked immediately from the force. He, however, has an intrigue for investigation, and whenever an investigation is brought up, he should become more slow and methodical
- 20 years old
- Underlying tones of psychosis, somewhat of an annoying voice, young
(found what he needed) "GOT EM!" (quieter) "Permission to fire?"
(scrolling down a list, just name a few surnames off under your breath) "Oh, here she is..." (sly) "Does he know how dangerous it is to be constantly around an Unawakened Gen 2?"
(as if breaking the fourth wall, but not actually) "Hi, welcome to the Theo Marsh show and the pure pain and agony that is not being able to just SHOOT THIS GUY IN THE FOOT BECAUSE HE'S CLEARLY ESCAPING."
One of Arthur's former children who was disowned. She's headstrong and powerful. She has very tomboyish vibes to her voice and should always sound like she's talking down to people. She has to also sound charming, and whenever doing an attack line, almost sound seductive. She's one of the only children who doesn't eventually come to your side in order to fight against her father, and instead, whilst not rooting for him, believes that she should follow him in order to meet him, so make any lines where he's mentioned sound serious.
- 25 years old
- Tomboyish, charming, powerful
(Imitating a cowgirl) "So I heard you need to know about the Wright family?" (Introducing herself, playful) "Hi, I'm Evie."
(Doing what she has to do) "It's not my fault that you were the ones who're coming after him. Maybe if you'd just never taken a step out of that casino, none of this would've..." (breaking up) "ever happened"
(Explaining) "You see, I'm a professional conversationalist. I know what to say and how to say it." (Charming) "you just didn't realize until it was too late"
A motorcycle stunt rider known for his daring stunts whilst also firing at targets or other people. He's a former member of the Casino before it's collapse and is brought back after being seen as someone with vast knowledge of the city who could help co-ordinate their attack. He tries to be smooth but is clearly failing, is constantly tired and seems like he's only ever putting up a show for TV, and otherwise doesn't really care. He also has somewhat of a habit of transitioning to a newscaster-like persona where he refers to himself in the third-person, on occasion, but this seems to also just be for show. During the start of the game, he tries to blend in with everyone else though, so his bike doesn't appear until later.
- Late 20's to Early 30's
- Tired, gruff, usually just putting on a show
(Putting on a show for TV) "Don't try this at home, kids!" (crackling noises with his mouth, newscaster voice) "Here we see the great Dante Colton attempt to pop this balloon whilst riding at 80MPH! A truly astonishing feat!"
(Being brutally honest, tired) "Look, Toby, There are a few things about you that's never going to change. You're not cut out for this. Leave it to the adults."
(Introducing himself, lying but doing it well) "Evan Black. Pass me a cigarette, will you?" (Sarcastically, being told cigarettes are harmful) "Wow, I never knew."
A politician who works to try and weaponize psychic powers, but was let into the Casino on the condition that he agrees never to weaponize Generation 3. He's both physically and emotionally very strong, and serves as a morally grey character who simply does what he believes would be best for the country. Arguably bordering the line between a Lead and a Supporting role, in this regard. He's very serious and none of his lines should necessarily be overacted, as though you're just talking normally.
- 40 years old
- Serious, compassionate, preferably a low and mature voice
(Addressing a mass) "I am Kornev Petrovich, former member of The Casino At The End of the World. Following these recent attacks, I am planning to fight back with the sheer psychic force of everyone I can find. If you wish to contribute to the cause, you can contact my associates. I'm not going to talk to you directly, though, that would" (jokingly) "that would get me killed."
(Snapping his fingers) "This Toucan I've been hearing about. Is it really some tiny Hawaiian girl?"
(Mimicking Landon's speech, so very professional and high-class) "You're leaving, Edison. Now." (back to his normal voice) "I never got that, honestly."
Somewhere between a Supporting role and a Minor character, Lucas is a man who was let out of his room at the Casino after it was destroyed. Being a Gen 1 psychic, he was almost broken from his Awakening, becoming unable to sleep, so all of his lines should sound manic but tired. He's constantly on-edge and paranoid, as he hears every sound as voices, so he's unable to infer if what he's hearing is a crowd or someone walking behind him, however he seems to have come to terms with it, and when addressing a character one-on-one, he's much less manic.
- 70 years old
- Manic, on-edge and paranoid, but also eloquent and sophisticated
(Yelling, demanding) "SHUT THE DOOR, WILL YOU?" (breathe out, calm and shakily) "Thank you."
(tapping his foot and hitting a bunch of random items, humming to himself) "Trying to get the choirs to sing... Maybe then this could be-"
(Trying to concentrate hard on his powers) "The man... Arthur Wright... he's... he's..." (shocked) "he's approaching. Quickly."
Her lines should always sound slurred but intelligent. She's nerdy and has a knack for Rube Goldberg machines. Despite being a secondary antagonist and trying to bring Edison back, she's kind and always tries to resort to talking. She's also a mathematical genius, and whenever talking about concepts such as math, she becomes very excitable and can rant for long periods of time. Her lines should be spoken quickly, as though she has somewhere to be.
- 25 years old
- Good-cop, nerdy, fast-talking, somewhat slurred
(Concerned) "Edison, none of us were supposed to be there. None of us." (Shushing someone) "Not now, Marsh."
(Excited) "So I was talking to this one guy, Lauren, and he said that he had this really nice car and I said 'Oh, can I see the engine'? AND THE ENGINE HAD SO MANY PARTS AND THEY ALL MOVED, it was so cool. Even though there was one that kindof ruined it, but don't we all have that one tiny screw that ruins it?" (pause and then laughing) "You shouldn't say that about Theo."
(Confused, but serious) "You hurt Lauren, so that means that... I guess... I have to hurt you now, too."
For Cai, he should constantly sound out-of-breath, as though he's choking, due to a much smaller lung capacity. He should sound like he's at his limit. He's a professional at poker, and is good at reading people, but is also somewhat of a defeatist. He's laid back, chill and overall tries not to start fights with people. He has a brother-like relationship with both Isaiah and Brycen, and he's one of the only ones who doesn't hold at least a tiny grudge towards Isaiah for going back to get Edison instead of fight Arthur.
- 25 years old
- Out-of-breath, chilled
(Introducing himself slowly) "Cai. Cai Isaacs..." (questioning, much faster, as though meeting an old friend again) "Wait, is that really you, Morris?" (Overjoyed, attempting to be calmed down to save his voice) "BRYCEN, COME HERE! MORRIS IS BACK!"
(Firm on his decision, trying to convince people that won't budge) "I'll help you fight. I'm a tank, I assure you. Built like a buffalo. You can count on me."
(Bloodied but clearly not in any pain) "This is pathetic. If I did this to my daughter, you bet your fucking ass I'd use this rope and discipline myself right there and then. Fight me without your pathetic excuse for an advantage. I'm already handicapped here, Wright."
(The ability to say all of her more mocking lines in French would be a huge plus, and would certainly help you get the role)
Lore is one of the first children of Arthur Wright, marrying into a French family and adopting their accent. She's an alcoholic, but seems totally unaffected by it. Whenever she drinks, she's less like she's drunk and more like she's insanely relaxed. Her lines shouldn't move much in their tone, unless she's stopped talking midway through. She polices the rest of the children and keeps everyone in check. She's absolutely loyal to Arthur until she's betrayed.

-Slightly tipsy-sounding, dead-set on one emotion throughout an entire line almost ominously, loyal
(Under her breath) "Poor Evie. Having to talk to them" (turning back to talk to someone) "Yes, I know her, she... was... my sister."
(Astonished) "You really managed to hurt my dear Rapunzel?" (Mockingly) "She must not have been in that armour of hers, you merciless bastards."
(Betraying, not a hint of alcohol in her, pure hatred) "You really want to stand by him now, Evie? After all that I have done for you."
Rapunzel, however this is likely not her real name, is one of Arthur's children who was born to an Icelandic mother before he left. She never knew him, but follows along with her siblings in a similar manner to Evie. She, however, is much more easily shifted. She should sound innocent and young with undertones of being alot more mature and knowing alot more than she's letting on. Her mother owned a large military tech company, and hence she also owns a powerful mech she calls her Tower.

(Sucking up to someone) "Pleeeeease? You know how much I need that ammo." (Rolling her eyes, annoyed) "Fine then" (thinking) "I'll have to find a way to get it myself"
(Begging for her life) "WAIT! DON'T! DON'T SHOOT ME!" (Shaking, but trying to explain) "I'll even destroy the Tower so that you know I'm not kidding here. Just... please don't hurt me."
(Quietly) "Is he gone?" (Thinking, confused) "He should be gone by now. There's no way that he isn't."
(Tiny Arabic inflection preferred)
A slow and methodical court judge who is also Arthur's eldest child. He believes fully in bringing him to justice, but makes sure that nobody ever kills him. His voice should sound slow and thought out, and none of his lines should necessarily be rushed, as though he's thinking carefully about everything he's saying, either before or as he's saying it. He sounds confused in some lines, as though he's making it up as he goes along, which he clearly isn't used to.

- Slow, methodical, low, slightly confused in faster lines
(Intimidating, powerful) "The court sentences him to life imprisonment. Take this man away." (Almost like a growl) "Now."
(Nodding, understanding) "I agree entirely. But we can't kill him. If we kill him, then, well, aren't we worse in this scenario? Think about it." (taking a sip of some tea) "Just know that even if it's on accident, I will not hesitate to return the favour."
(Scared, shaky) "What... happened to him?" (Completely changed) "What- I- No- This... this isn't... I can't tell you.."
This will be short, 1-2 line roles that appear all throughout the game. Civilians, grunts, et, for the most part.
Introduce me to about 5 different civilians in-character, go wild. Give them some kind of side-quest if you want!
Mostly character designs, since I can't do them myself. Just send an idea of your style and specify which characters you'd most want to do the designs for
Say something you think would fit
