Project Overview
Hi! This is the producer for SYNTXE, an audio drama anthology podcast.
The 100th Call is SYNTXE's seventh (November) episode in our anthology. A company called SpiritLink offers a service that connects the living with the dead through phone calls. This is Mitch’s 100th call, and the company grants him a special gift. The runtime for this episode is expected to be about 8 minutes, and casting is only for this specific episode.

I’m fairly flexible with deadlines, but generally I’d like to have lines by two weeks of casting (the quicker, the better!). If you don’t think you can meet this deadline, please don’t audition. Recording will be done remotely and asynchronously.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 13+ to audition
Please be sure your recording doesn’t have any background noise. Good quality mic is recommended.
Must have discord to communicate (or be willing to create an account)
Please include your discord username in your audition.
When auditioning, please READ ALL THREE LINES.
Feel free to audition for multiple roles (I’d highly encourage so!)

The main protagonist, a lonely guy in his teens-late 20s. Has a serious, stern voice unless he’s comfortable with a familiar person. Always has his guard up unless he’s talking to his Dad.

(on the phone with customer service; confused but serious) Excuse me? (pause) I see.
(pissed but sarcastic) That’s not very nice isn’t it? I pay like fifty cents a minute for this and this is how you waste it. I could’ve bought a lollipop with that money.
(up to interpretation) Right. So just walk up to her and casually say “Hey, so I’m a loner and I talk to my dead dad on a phone service and he said that I should start talking to you”?
Mitch’s dead dad. 40s-60s. He talks to his son via phone calls. He has a warm, calm voice, and a caring yet honest personality.
