This is a comic dub of the Webtoon Canvas series Souris, created by little.moths and pammy.pants which we have received special permission to produce and post.
Synopsis:
October braves a virus-ridden island, joining a notorious militia to reunite with his family. Amidst the danger, he meets Andy, a mysterious orange-eyed boy with a sinister past. As October grows closer to Andy, he finds his mission shifting. Not only is he determined to uncover the truth about the island, his family, and the deadly virus, but he also grapples with the burgeoning feelings he has for Andy.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18+ to audition!
Please have a good mic with little-to-no background noise! (XLR mics preferred!)
Please record at least 2 takes of each line in ABC format (Ex: ABC ABC).
Please upload files onto casting call club as an mp3 to avoid your audio being compressed.
DO NOT do any editing with your audition. Noise reduction is fine though!
Please DO NOT slate at the beginning of your audition!

Deadline is July 31st at 12:00 AM PST! Any submissions after that will not be accepted!
After the deadline closes, casting will take place 1-3 days after! 4 days at the latest!
If cast, you will be informed via email or on the casting call club website if you sent your submission here. All communication after casting will be done on Discord for efficiency. (No exceptions)
While the deadline has not been passed I want to go ahead and start the process of getting in contact with everyone being considered. Once I've been in contact with everyone I will post an announcement stating so.

Hello everyone, as you know tomorrow is the deadline for submitting auditions so please make sure you have that in order as the next step of the audition process will be selecting possible candidates for callbacks. If you are contacted (via Discord) you will be invited to a temporary server where you will be asked to join a call for a live interview with me and/or my casting assistants.
In this call, expect the following things:
We will ask you questions about your availability and whether you know the WebToon or not (this does not affect your chances of being cast).
We will go through your audition/s with you, point out things we liked about it, and address issues that can be solved with VA direction.
Please expect to do a live re-audition on the spot as the same process will be used for the live-reading as well as recording lines if you are cast.
Once we have done all interviews we will begin live readings where we will have multiple voice actors in a call to read for characters. In this live reading, we will be looking at how you interact with each other as your characters so don’t be afraid to experiment with your voice.
If you are not contacted for callbacks, sit tight because you may be contacted to play extras or even future significant characters yet to be introduced. Thank you all for taking an interest in this project and I can’t wait to work with you all!
Apologies on my part, I don't know how I missed this but I misslabled the voice type on Rachel's role description. Its supposed to be mid/mid-high not mid/mid-low. If you submitted an audition for Rachel and would like to redo it please go right ahead!
Even though October may seem unapproachable at first, he is kind and often playful. He tends to act quickly in dangerous situations without thinking things through, which can lead him to make irrational decisions even in less intense scenarios. He can also be assertive, but he is protective of those he considers close.

Andy appears to embody teen angst and pure rage, but surprisingly, he is extremely sensitive. Due to his upbringing, he values being in control of situations and makes it a point to think before acting. He is logical and quick to pick up on things. Despite his hostile exterior, Andy becomes easily attached to others. He is extremely protective of those he sees as his 'family' and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, even if it means compromising his moral compass.

Stern, bossy, and always in charge. Upfront about her desires and fiercely overprotective of her younger sister. Feels a deep responsibility for those she cares about, often crossing boundaries to shield them.
