Project Overview

Superhero Society is a story based in a world where a persons' personality comes alive and forms into some kind of power , called "traits". "Superheroes" eventually started becoming a regular occupation with special government-funded schools training capable young teenagers and honing their skills in combat. Rubie Kagami is a unique teenager as her trait isn't dragon-wings or super-human speed , but rather she can copy the trait of anyone else by using the pads on her fingertips to touch them. 

If you are interested then please make sure to keep track of this job listing as there will always be more roles available everyday.

This is a big project and will take time and effort to put together. If you are only looking for quick jobs then I'm afraid this isn't the place for you.

If you don't have a FaNcY pRo MiC , don't worry! I know equipment can be hard to get so , for good quality audio , you can either :

Record under your bed sheets , Or you can record in your closet.

The fabric will cancel out any echo or any unnecessary background noise pretty well , just don't forget to step out as soon as you are done to breathe!

  • Deadline pushed back + more new roles!

    Dear all , The response received on this casting call has been absolutely phenomenal and we are grateful for every audition , cast or not! However the work doesn’t end yet friends , for there are still many more roles that need to be filled. For now though we’ve only added around 10 so as to not bombard future viewers. We would greatly appreciate if anyone reading this can share the project with your friends/fellow voice actors. Whether you have Auditioned , plan on auditioning or have already been cast it is no secret that we are rather low on voices. The extra spread of the word would be greatly appreciated! The deadline for the project has been pushed back to December 1st 2022. This is just to ensure that all roles are to be filled by then. Takeo (Tak-ay-o) is someone who's been beaten almost on a daily basis for years. He's often dehydrated so his voice should sound rough , but still sweet. Canonically he doesn't speak a lot so there should always be a short hesitation when you are given lines.

If you apply for this role , please know that for a good while all you're going to be asked to do is grunts , mumbles and other non-talk sounds. Don't worry , you will talk , just not at first.

Shujin (shoo-j-in) is a girl who's suffered the dark side of this supernatural world. Her trait leaves her with hypnotic eyes and wiry pink hair which often scare those around her. She feels like a menace to society , which leads to her crying so much that dark bags have formed under her eyes.

Her voice should be hoarse and quiet (not too quiet otherwise no one will hear you 😅) but still a good voice for reassurance. Voice cracks are more than welcome for this role as well.

Mizu (Mee-zoo) is a calm and collected brother of ten year old Binka (Bin-ka). Since Mizu is based on the "Behaviour" of the ocean , he can be mostly calm but will sometimes loose his temper and lash out. Meaning you'll also have to switch from calm to erratic in a few seconds.
