Starwind - A Morrowind Total Conversion Master Casting Call 3
Project Overview
Hey all, it's Cu na Saoirse! Back at it again with another fun project! Please make sure to read THIS ENTIRE description before audition please. That includes Audition Requirements and Voice Requirements!
The project this time is for a fun little gem I've been a co-dev on for about 3 years now titled Starwind - a revolutionary total conversion for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It turns the whole game into a fully functioning Star Wars game complete with working blasters, mounts, space travel, and a questline that spans several planets. Replete with over 15 playable races, including Tusken Raiders :), mini-dungeon planets like Hoth, and even an upcoming planet embroiled in turmoil of a Sith blockade that is causing massive civil unrest, Starwind is perhaps the best mod for Morrowind that I've ever come across and has accomplished things never thought possible in the Morrowind engine.
As for my role on the team, I am the director of the voice acting talent and the filler quests guy (but that's not important). My job right now is to get ALL the races re-voiced from the vanilla Morrowind standard. What you see below is not the full list of races/factions that need voicing, just what I have done right now.

VOICE REQUIREMENTS
A willingness and ability to adapt your voice to the character's racial requirements (Chiss are English, Gran make goat noises when using the vowel A, etc etc)
Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with mess-ups on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud! Every race/faction requires shouting during combat and mewling in pain when injured. Sometimes you will be cussing too. If you are comfortable with neither, then I can say that, unfortunately, this project is not for you. :(
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.
- Every role will have between 20 and 70 dialogue lines. It depends on the race, which factions they belong to, and their demeanor.
- Keep in mind that the pictures of the roles DO NOT REFLECT what your character will look like. These just reflect the general race of the character in question. You are voicing the RACES entirely, not just a single character.
- IF YOU ARE SELECTED FOR A ONE-OFF APPEARANCE ROLE, ALL AUDITION LINES ARE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO.
-Have fun!
If you are disqualified, feel free to re-audition! There is no negativity here, only positivity and room for improvement!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I can answer most.

Hey all! Our hard work has been made reality! Starwind 3.0 is out and can be downloaded here! https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48909 Thank you all for the assistance! We still have races that need doing, however, and I'll be posting a new casting call here shortly! If you're interested in helping out, keep an eye out!

Update
Hey all! It's so good to have the time to check in and let you all get up to speed on development! Progress is going smoothly, and we're nearing release even now as I type this. There are still a few roles that are unvoiced and a stark couple that haven't been written out (My fault, entirely. My job has taken a lot of my time and has prevented creative writing for a little bit), but most of the races are voiced and that's what counts! When we release, I'll make another announcement with the link! Thank you all so much for your patience, and for your voices! You guys rock! If you have any questions, my DMs are open - day or night! -
Influx of Auditions
There's been a massive influx of auditions lately, and I'm so excited to hear them! Thank you all for your attention to this project! -
Audition Influx
Most of the auditions I've received overnight are amazing! I'll be making some decisions tonight, and others tomorrow. If you aren't selected for a role, then no worries! Keep an eye out for the next Master Casting Call although I will warn you that roles are beginning to become scarce as the Races are taken by VAs! Thank you all so much for your interest! You guys are helping make this project become so much better and we on the team are eternally grateful!
The Kel Dor as natives to the planet Kel Dor (Very imaginative, I know.) They are a friendly sentient race with a long history spanning many, many centuries, with a deep understanding of the Force, having used it long before the founding of the Jedi Order. The Kel Dor, when off-planet, where specialized masks that protect them from oxygen which is poison to them.
(GREETING)
Oh! Sorry, I'm in your way... No? You wish to speak with me?
(TAUNT)
I'll never surrender! Come on!
(IDLE)
Can't forget the shopping list, can't forget the shopping list...
Cathars (CAH-THAR-Z) are a proud, feline humanoid race hailing from the planet Cathar (CAH-THAR). Great warriors, dedicated and efficient predators, and owing their high moral values to the society they were born into, Cathars are a prized race around the galaxy as bounty hunters, slaves, soldiers, and more.
Despite their high moral values in canon, in Starwind, they often take the roles of smugglers and pirates.
Alongside the Russian accent that is required, Cathars roll their "R"s and pronounce "W" like a V.
(GREETING)
What do you need from me?
(TAUNT)
Never should've messed with a Cathar!
(IDLE)
Sometimes I wonder if they're catching on... Blasters are always going missing, after all.
Twi'leks need no introduction as they are pretty much both the posterboard characters of many a-Star Wars story or fanfic and the pinup characters of Star Wars in general. An extremely intelligent, resilient race hailing from Ryloth - a most inhospitable planet - they have since spread out across the galaxy and have found jobs in areas such as mercenary work, janitors, merchants, soldiers, and more. Some of the jobs are less lucrative than others.
(GREETING)
Hello, what is it I can help you with?
(TAUNT)
Stay. Right. There!
(Idle)
Czerka needs to back off. I've no time for such foolishness.
Miralukas are a near-human race originating from Alpheridies that is strong in their connection to the Force - being able to see the Force radiating off of Jedi and Sith. However, they are blind as they lack eyes and instead only possess the sockets, and are thus forced to wear a blindfold so as to not discomfort others.
(GREETING)
I sense you staring at me. What do you want.
(TAUNT)
The Force guides me!
(IDLE)
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
Niktos are a humanoid race of beings native to the planet of Kintan. They are divided into three sub-species and are often found in the galaxy as bounty hunters, assassins, and enforcers for the various crime lord syndicates such as the Hutts. However, many can also be found in service to the Jedi order. In Starwind, they mainly serve as criminals and gangsters.
As per the wishes of the mod author, the Niktos must speak in gibberish.
(GREETING - Gibberish)
Ehto vanna.
(TAUNT - Gibberish)
Baksana! Baksana!
(GREETING - Gibberish)
Lili chana becko.

Droids need no introduction in the Star Wars universe. Having been present in every single movie as various automatons - but the most known being C3-PO and R2D2 - as well as there once being a vast army of Droids to fight the Republic. Droid personalities differ vastly and are often reflected by the demeanor of their master.

Query: What do you wish of me?

Callout: This bucket of bolts is going loud!

Idle Query: Hmm... What did Master need again? Hmm...

The Serennian Defense Force are the armed forces of the Oligarchy of Serenno. Charged with the defense of the planet, it's people, it's nobles, and the Count/Countess, they have found themselves under blockade and siege by the Sith Empire. The Player arrives on Serenno one of two ways, either by Sith transporation or Republic Blockade Runner, and depending on how they arrive will determine if the Serennian Defense Force are enemies or allies.
These Women have aligned themselves with the Serennian Defense Force.
(GREETING)
Carannia. City of Peace... Well, so we thought anyways.
(TAUNT)
Lay down and die, Sith scum!
(IDLE)
How do they expect us to hold out...? We've barely got enough arms for us alone!
Mandalorians are warmongering humans originating from Mandalore. They value honor and combat is a cornerstone of their society. They fought a bloody war against the Republic when they began extending their reach to other planets, first ones that were not under Republic controls, and then eventually Republic-aligned planets all together. Mandalorians are tough, no-nonsense, and vicious in combat.
These Mandalorian Women have thrown their lot in with The Republic.
(GREETING)
Greetings, soldier. Welcome to my posting.
(TAUNT)
Death to all Sith scum!
IDLE)
Sometimes I can't help but wonder why I left the raiding life...

For the Czerka Corporation!

Hmmm... What a boring posting.
Tarisians are humans from the planet Taris. Taris, by the time Starwind takes off, has been destroyed by the Sith - rendering the planet practically uninhabitable save for small pockets of survivors and Sith Troopers who were left behind and abandoned. Tarisians lived under harsh, oppressive rule the Sith Empire imposed, which is very ironic considering that Tarisian Aristocrats used to the rule the exact same way.
(Greeting)
Oh, hello. How can I help you?
(Taunt)
Remember the homeworld!
(Idle)
Taris... my homeworld... It's hard to believe it's gone...

My life for the Republic!
(Idle)
Not exactly sure what they hope to accomplish here.... But I guess I'll hold my position.
The Pathfinder is a Hammerhead-Class Blockade Runner in service to the Republic Navy, and you are it's captain. Throughout the course of the mission you appear in, you simply appear over the intercom at various stages of what is considered a dungeon. The Sith are boarding The Pathfinder during a failed attempt to run their blockade. During these voice-only appearances, you give out several call-outs, ranging from attempting to raise morale to talking to someone off-screen while forgetting the intercom is on, berating them for someone else's actions.
(Attempting to raise morale around the ship during a Sith Boarding Action)
Hang on, everyone!
(Background chatter while the Player explores The Pathfinder)
I need a Security Team to the Bridge, minor probes trying to squeeze through our positions!
