Hey Guys! Welcome to the "Spirit Gems" Casting Call, this is a cartoon series I've been working on for a good while now. I've been drawing my characters and developing my style for years, me and my dear friend Maus has written quite a few scripts and we already have some VA's but we're trying to find more voices. Once we have all/most of the voices we need, we're gonna do Discord Voice chat meetings with the cast so that me and Maus will be able to help direct your voice the way we think will fit the character more but only if your able to! remember that its just me and my friend wanting to make a fun cartoon and this is not a paid project for now but that could change!
Spirit Gems Description:
Life goes on, even after Death, thanks to a rare and mysterious resource called the Spirit Gems. Ancient relics once worshiped by Indian tribes, allowing the dead to still live on after their passing. This didn´t go unnoticed however, as corrupt government officials try to find them in an effort to use them for their own twisted uses. Their search leads them into the City of Kandrid, Ohio. Home to many factions fighting over their ideologies and believes in the shadows and dark corners of the blooming city. It is a haunted city they say, because of the Spirits that it houses, like Joseph Leisure, a young man who fell victim to the officials. Joseph, now being a spirit himself, makes friends with a new kid in town, Alex J. Watson, another young man from Canada. The story will follow the duo on their misadventures in and outside of Kandrid, making many more friends and enemies along the way. Little do they know, that perhaps the entire fate of the world lays in their hands, as they start to uncover the mystery of the Spirit Gems.
Rules of the audition:
You must have a great quality microphone (Audio clips with too much background noise and static will not be accepted)
You must have a Discord account to have the best contact (Note: You HAVE to be frequently active in order for this method of contact to work)
Please post your Discord account name and pin along with your audition (If you get accepted, and you fail to return my message within 20 days, you will not be able to partake for this project)

since the deadline has hit, the next few days we will be deciding which voices are the best, there's a lot of great voices so its going be hard.

Jennifer Kylemore is a chill laid back teenage girl, she likes getting into Trouble from time to time. she loves to mess with Mr. Caldwell and annoy him when she goes to the Principle Office. She has a Sarcastic Personality. She will start to mature further into the series.

Joseph is a Laid back teenage boy from the 50's Era, he died in 1959 from falling down a high building and is now a ghost that's been stuck in the state of Ohio around his home town, Kandrid. He helps Alex out with being more confident in himself and with teenage problems since he can relate. (NOTE: I'm looking for a mid tone voice, Not too deep and not too squeaky)

I thought they'd appreciate it, but when they started noticing, they packed their things and moved away… that was so long ago…(deep into thought and sad)
Bradley Davis, also known as Zero, is a young afro-american man and a fairly big figure in the Fiveoak Families, but eventhough he has this status, he´s got problems adjusting to a more professional role in the field of Leadership.
Bradley is a fun and action loving jokester, who cares deeply for his brothers in arms and friends, but his not so serious behavior often lands him in trouble
He will appear multiple times throughout the show, often with his best bud Little Eddy as a supportive character
(annoyed) Loser´s the driver, I know, I know, you don't have to rub it in man.
(in battle) Don´t stop, we got 'em right where we want them, keep' those guys occupied!
(friendly, calm) Bradley Davis, everyone calls me Zero and you are?
Edward Johnson Jr., nicknamed Little Eddy is a young african-american man and Zero´s best friend and more-or less mentor
While Eddy still likes some good joking around, he often takes more of a serious tone, in contrast to Zero´s often carefree mood
He´s a fighter, he´s a charmer and he loves his home.
He will appear multiple times throughout the show, acting as a supportive character
(excited) I got this one, I ordered something special from this courier.
(in battle) Jenny, get a bomb on that car!
(annoyed, but calm) One of the big cheeses of Fiveoak right here and he can't even drive properly. Jeez.
Mabel Crowning is a young woman that is friends with Sofia and Ricky, she is also their bandmate
She is kinda shy and calm in tone, but can show a lot of emotion
Mabel is a minor character that will appear every now and then.
(friendly, a bit shy) You too, you´re that exchange student right?
(friendly, flattered) Aw please I am flattered, but you really don't have to.
(ecstatic) Wow, that was incredible dude!
William Is a corrupt Government Official that Led the Trinity Foundation back in the 1940's to 1950's, he is very obsessed with the research of the Spirit Gems becoming more detached from reality as he starts dreaming of the world he could build with it and doesn't see that he is in delusion. (NOTE: I would take Inspiration from Willem Dafoe's green goblin and or Mark Hamill's Joker, maybe add a little Frank Sinatra. I know, its a weird combination)
Mr. Leisure! Stop running, it's over! (intimidating)
The gem, hand it over and you won't get hurt! Don't make this harder for yourself kid, just give it to me! (intimidating)

Eli is a young afro-american man serving as a "Chopper" for the Fiveoak Families
He is a laid back minor character that appears now and then
(friendly) No problem, me and Jason will give it a new coat of paint and it´ll be as good as new.
(worried) Ah jeez, did you guys get into trouble?
(friendly) We should have the ride ready again when you come back, have fun.
Ya know, a nice warm narrator voice!(maybe add a bit of a German accent to it)
It is January 25th 1959, 05:09 pm. A fairly slow day for the city of Kandrid and its citizens, of which, most by now had taken shelter in their homes from the icy rain that had washed away the snow.
It´s late August 2012, a lonely black car was driving along the road near the outskirts of Kandrid. Inside, sat a man and his son. The son, bored out of his mind, watched the sheer endless wheat fields pass them by, then in front of them, a sign caught his attention. It read: “Welcome to the City of Kandrid” “New Mecklenburg County, Ohio” “Established: 1883, Population: 829.241”
The surprised young man looked into the direction of the shout, as he threw away his soda and along with more people dressed like him he hurried there. The sounds of BB guns being fired, rung through the city. Welcome to Kandrid, the teenage wasteland.
