Hello there. I run a small YouTube channel (J0KRR) where I will be uploading these dubs. Don't expect a lot of recognition with these, but do expect some great experience as you will be acting out a script written by proffesionals over at the Marvel Studios.
I am really excited about this comic dub! I am hoping to dub at least issues 1-4 of Spider-Man Noir. If you haven't heard of this iteration of Spider-Man, I highly recommend you look it up and even read the comics. His character is basically Batman and Spider-Man rolled into one, but he also uses a revolver and a tommy gun and sometimes kills. The noir universe is very dark. Anyway, If all goes well I'll most likely be dubbing Spider-Man Noir: Eyes Without A Face issues 1-4 as well.
This dub will have full sound effects, and music, all done in the Noir style.
Requirments:
Mic - Prefferebly an XLR mic of course, but as long as there's little to no background noise and decent quality you should be fine.
Dedication - Like I said above, I am hoping to dub multiple comic issues, so it would be great if you would stick around for a while once casted.
Discord - Discord will be the easiest way to stay in touch with all of you, and give you guys updates. I will message you with the link once you are casted.
SFX - Please no sound effects. If i do decide to use sound effects on a character later I will add them myself.
Other than that, have fun and don't be afraid to try your own thing with the auditions, as long as it still captures the essence of the character.
And don't worry about the deadline.

I'd like for Peter to have a bit of a different voice than Spider-Man, similar to Batman and Bruce Wayne. Though do not to a Batman voice. He is obviously similar to any other ideration of Spider-Man. But he is also described as "full of rightious anger." Peter is very angry with how the world around him is being run. Everything and everyone is corrupt, and he hates it. But he also wants to change it, whatever it takes. He is very stuborn and is in search of justice.
(Angry/protective) [As Peter] You lay one finger on my aunt and I'll--
(Filled with vengance) [As Spider-Man] I'm here to give you a message goblin. It all stops. The extortion, the drugs, the prostitution, the protection rackets, all of it...
(Enraged) [As Spider-Man] How could you? How could you be doing this? You take his filthy money! You're a DRUNK and a JUNKIE and he's bought you! He bought you like a DOG!
Name pronounced "Er-rik" (Urich) Has the most lines in this one.
Prefferebly with a very slight New Yorker accent. And/or a bit of a Transatlantic accient like this https://youtu.be/hEqesVTEFPM?t=186 . This is a difficult accent to do well so if you can't don't sweat it.
Ben is the head reporter for the Daily Bugle, and somewhat of a mentor for Peter. At least at first. Later on Peter finds out that ben is addicted to some hard drugs, and payed off by The Gobblin. Although is is far from perfect, he still seeks to do the right thing when it comes to peter. Other than that he's a bit of a layed back guy. He's seen the world for what it is and what kind of horrors lurk in the dart, so nothing phazes him anymore.
(Casual) Do you boys want to see your mugs all over the Bugle tomorrow? Or are you going to back off and let these people go about thier business?
(Narrating) Three weeks ago... is that all it was? Winter was setting in hard. Down below Riverside Drive, squatters had put up a shantytown along the Hudson from 72nd Street to 110th. "Get me pictures, Urich," JJJ told me. "We're going to show the public what's really happening out there."
(Narrating) Sometime, somehow, he developed the taste for human meat... (Solomn) *Sigh* And how do I know this? How do I know that Ben Parker's living body was cannibalized? (In absolute horror) Because... God help me... I was there...

Norman Osborn is the man running the city. However he's not the mayor. But he does have the mayor in his back pocket, along with every other man of power in the city. Norman Osborn is the biggest crime boss in the city, and a scarry dude. He is almost always calm, because if there ever is a problem he can just pay someone off to solve it; including the cops. He is the reason why everyone in the city is corrupt and he had Peter's Uncle eaten alive. He's a devilishly devious man.

(Malicious and Contempt) Good evening Urich. And Parker, isn't it? Your uncle was Ben Parker, the agitator. (pause then slight lean in) My commiserations. An unfortunate death. I believe he was torn apart by... what was it now? (With an evil smile) Wild dogs?
(Threatening) I know you have your Needs, but you should take care not to push me too far.
(Beeing attacked and held up by Spider-Man) Or what? You beat me up? ARREST me? The only way you'll stop me is to kill me. (Pause) Are you ready to do that?

He's pretty much the same as any other JJJ, except he's also a hitman for the Goblin... but other than that, the same.
Parker! Sit! Urich tells me you're a good kid. Tells me you're an orphan. Lost your uncle too. Ben Parker. A fine man I hear. A little red around the gills for my liking, but still.
--Sience! Right. But you can't afford the college fees. So you'll make do with a job here in the meantime. (Snarky) I soppose I should feel honored.
(With a malicious smile) It's done. The spider is dead.
Aunt May is a big time activist. Sure she is quite old, but she is still as lively as ever. Try not to go too old lady on this one, but something that still sounds aged.
(Standing on a box surrounded by a crowd) Three years ago, Hoover was telling you your jobs were secure for life. Since then, more than thirteen million of you are out of work! We've seen the army on the streets, using tanks and tear gas against citizens whose only crime is their poverty!
(Calm but very stern) Young man, the last time I looked, the constitution of this country protected my right to freedom of speech.
(Wrapped in a lasso, very frightened) Get this thing off me!
One of Osborn's goons. Lead goon if you will. For him I'd like a hard transatlantic accent. And a higher pitched voice, very nasley. He should sound gross and creepy.
Whaddaya know? Ben Urich, poking his snout in the muck as usual.
(Horrified) Look at that! What is that?! Are those spiders?!!
(In agony and terror) THEY'RE BITING!! GET 'EM OFF'A ME! (Gut renching, in horrific torment) YYYYAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
Ox is another one of Osborn's goons; he's the "muscle." Although he isn't a "big dumb brute" but still ain't the smartest tool in the shed. Ox should have a deeper voice.
It's past your bedtime kid. (Punches Peter) Lookit that! Can't hardly keep his eyes open.
(After Ben Urich takes his picture) How about if I smash your damned camera? And then how about if I break your fingers, one at a time? How ya gonna write this up then, smart guy?
(After being insulted) CASTRATI?! Who does that Russkie think he is?
(Lassoing Aunt May) Whoa there doggie! (Pause) You just hold your water grandma.
It said in the Bugle, the tribe that made these statues put a curse on them... (Dramatic Pause) Anyone touches them, they die.

Pronounce Urick
Felicia Hardy, owner of the Black Cat nightclub, but is later revealed to be the White Widow, Earth-90214's counterpart to Earth-616's Black Cat (The original character). She has a bigger role later on.
As far as her voice goes, I'd like a VERY slight souther belle accent. She does pose to be soffisticated after all. So keep that in mind when voicing the lines where she talks to Urich.
Ben Urich! Who's this? Don't tell me you've taken up babysitting.
(To Peter) Are you old enough to be drinking? (Peter says something snarky) *Smiling* Kid's got a mouth on him.
(Having just thrown them out) You know my rules Ben. You don't bring your squabbles into the black cat. Tell the kid he can come back when he's grown up.
Another of Osborn's Enforcers. Kraven used to be an animal trainer for a circus before Norman Osborn picked him up. He only has on line in this first issue, but gets more in later ones. He is Russian of course.
That's enough! You're squeling like a pair of Castrati. Get these statues loaded.
A canibal circus freak picked up by Norman Osborn. He's the one who eats Uncle Ben alive. He really just makes sounds. I might just have another voice actor do these or do them myself, but give em a try. Make em sound creepy as hell and prefferebly bird-like.
