Sonic The Hedgehog comic dubs!

Hello!

My name is Arch. I'm the main VA and editor for this group, and as of now, it's just me. I plan on dubbing various official Sonic comics and fan comics.

Note: Each character must have at least 5 auditions before I make a decision.
If a role is closed, it most likely means I have what I like and I will choose accordingly. If you plan on auditioning, please do so as quickly as possible.

Guidelines and Information

  • Discord is required, as it will be the main method of communication.

  • The age requirement is 16+, as I am most comfortable working with that age group.

  • Auditioning for multiple characters is allowed.

  • Audio quality should have no background noise and be crisp.

  • Please record your auditions in the AABBCC style.

  • More roles will be added in the future if needed.

Conclusion

All I ask is that you have fun while auditioning. Everything is a matter of personal preference—if you don’t get picked it doesn't mean your audition wasn't liked, I plan to hold more of these for different franchises, so stay tuned!

  • Casting to begin October 10th

    Thank you so much everyone for auditioning for this project

    I will be deciding very soon who will be voicing who, everyone had amazing auditions and it's going to be very difficult for me to choose which of you get the part, once casting is complete the discord server link will be deleted and if anybody would like to join there are multiple extras for the idw comics that will be needing voices, so if you aren't picked but still would like to voice some comics, there are always extras and possibly backups in the future. I plan on doing more casting calls in the future so look out for those.

Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and nature and boundless energy. A loner by nature, Knuckles is independent, headstrong, and serious, yet gullible and short-tempered to a fault. He is entirely devoted to his duty, spending most of his time on Angel Island protecting the Master Emerald and rarely cares about anything that is of no importance. When his friends and others are in need of his help, however, Knuckles can always be relied on, being willing to leave his home very often. Though more recently has committed himself to getting off and exploring Earth more often.

Rouge is in short, an enigma, as her motivations are always in question. In truth, she is usually just out for herself. She is incredibly smart, sassy, and fearless, and knows how to get what she wants. Once she has a target in mind, she always goes for it, regardless of the costs. She is a calculating realist, and her motives are always mercenary in nature. Regardless, she is loyal to her closest friends and has more than once helped Sonic and his allies save the world.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:


Shadow is, bluntly put, a brooding loner. He usually acts with a cool and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He is rarely seen with others for an extended period of time and usually distances himself from essentially everyone as a natural introvert. He is usually blunt and does not speak much, but he always knows exactly what to say in combat. However, Shadow never bluffs; if he makes a threat, he has every intention of carrying it out.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:


While frail in appearance, Maria was strong in spirit. Eternally cheerful, optimistic and positive despite her condition, Maria could see the good in almost anyone or anything. She was likewise a very kind, loving and generous soul who always put others before herself, supported her friends, and held an unconditional love for the people of the world, even showing compassion towards her enemies when they were distressed. Because she never got to visit Earth after she was moved to the Space Colony ARK, Maria was very interested in the planet and wished to see it. She was as well very encouraging as she could make others accept themselves and calm others down when in stressful situations, including Shadow. She had unwavering faith in the people she trusted, as she strongly believed that Shadow and her grandfather would cure her illness.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:


Eggman continually devises plots to achieve world domination, which range from using animals to power his robots, known as Badniks, to constructing massive war machines, harnessing ancient powers, and manipulating spacetime itself. Despite his genius, his plans are always foiled by Sonic and his friends. Nevertheless, Eggman remains undeterred, always managing to escape capture and continuing his quest for conquest. His narcissism and immature behavior often lead to his downfall, but his unrelenting pursuit of power makes him one of the most dangerous threats in the universe.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:


Blaze is normally calm and elegant but tends to conceal her true feelings. Devoted to her position, she sometimes gets herself bogged down by her own strict discipline, which made her anti-social, shy, and unfamiliar with the concept of having friends. After spending time with Amy and Cream and meeting Sonic however, Blaze has discovered the true meaning of friendship, allowing her to accomplish tasks for the good of her people and the innocent which she could never do alone. Despite the initial boundaries separating them, Blaze now travels freely between her dimension and Sonic's to visit her friends.

Espio is a calm and quiet chameleon, but also overly cautious and disciplined. However, his wariness and soulful character makes him a vital member of Team Chaotix, where his presence plays an important role as a restraint among his coworkers, who tend to be optimistic and energetic. Espio likewise thrives on the dangers of his missions, and although he is quite confident in his ninjutsu, he feels it is aesthetically pleasing to stay in the shadows as a ninja should.

Heroic, optimistic, and just as fearless as Sonic, Tangle is scrappy and loves to tangle with bad guys. Not intimidated by danger in the slightest, she has a thirst for adventure and excitement and craves new challenges for herself. As such, she is capable of heading into mortal peril and face deadly odds, all while wearing a smile on her face and having the time of her life. However, her desire for adventure makes her reckless and prone to charging headlong into danger without a care in the world. She can also be somewhat careless in battle, like using her tail in a way that gets it injured and getting so caught up in her own excitement that she forgets to watch out for enemies.

She is also fearless and bold, rarely showing any form of worry or concern, even in situations that are troublesome or possibly beyond her capabilities. When push comes to shove, however, she tends to give in to anger, causing her to become a more volatile force.

Kit is an anthropomorphic fennec fox about the height of a child He possesses mostly Argentine blue fur with a patch of white countershading on the front of his torso that is shaped like a droplet and a medium-long white muzzle with pointy cheek tuffs and a small black nose. He also has fuchsia eyes that sometimes glow, teal eyelids, long bangs of fur on his head, and long triangular ears on his head with tipped with teal countershading that hang down the sides of his head. Lastly, he has a long and thick tail tipped with more of his teal countershading.
