INTRODUCTION:
Hello, everyone; I'm back with yet another Casting Call for the Sonic IDW comic! I know you're sick of seeing these (To be honest, I'm getting sick of making them -_-) I think this is like the 5th one...) But this one's for that awesome DC crossover!

Your audition must have good audio quality with little to no background noise. If it has noticeable background noise, it will not be considered and will be immediately dismissed.
Please make sure the volume on your submission is good! Quiet auditions will also be immediately dismissed.
Record 2 takes, in AABBCC format.
Communication is absolutely key! If I consistently can't get in touch with you, then you will be recast, simple as that.
Meeting deadlines is important, but communicate with me if you cannot meet said deadline! We can work things out as long as there is communication.

Please provide at least 2 takes per character! Preferably in AABBCC format.
If you choose to add an effect to your audition, leave in the unedited takes as well.
Some roles will already have been filled by me and other actors! If the character isn't on the list, please don't DM me and ask if they're available.
If you don't have Discord, that's completely ok, but it does make things easier if you do.
Due to the comic's 5th and final issue being delayed, we have extended the project deadline. We want to be able to jump straight into recording when it's time, so hopefully this gives you all more time to get those auditions in! If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Thank you!

ROLE: Main
CHARACTER DESC: Darkseid is one of the most powerful New Gods and the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips, an archetypal world beyond the boundaries of time and space. His everlasting goal is the utter domination and enslavement of all life in creation, when all is ordered according to his will. We're looking for someone with a deeper, strong voice and a commanding presence in their performance.

(Threateningly) Do not make me repeat myself Desahd. Once I have obtained what I seek, "power" will never be a concern again.

(Condescendingly/With a smile) Run along now and inform your "Mobians" that Apokolips is MY sovereign dominion, and shall remain forever so.

CHARACTER DESC: Wally West is the fastest speedster alive (Well, at least in his universe). He's competitive, fun-loving and often enjoys facing the danger that comes with being a superhero. His voice should be a bit youthful, charismatic, and very high-energy.

CONTEXT: Asking about Sonic's Speed (Amazed/With a smile) It's really all natural? No crazy mad scientist treadmill accidents or anything? That is, interesting... Man I could've sworn I was picking up "Speed Force" vibes from ya.
(Cocky) Listen Kid. I'm the Flash...I'm "speed" personified!
ROLE: Main
CHARACTER DESC: Noble, kind, and selfless. Superman is the archetypal superhero, known for his unfailing goodness, honesty, and extraordinary abilities. He embodies heroism and uses his powers to protect those who cannot protect themselves. (But let's be real, you already know all this, it's SUPERMAN.) Looking for a performance akin to that of Roger Craigh Smith's Captain America.

(Friendly/Welcoming) We're the Justice League, heroes from another dimension. I'm Superman, protecter of truth, justice, and a better tomorrow.
(Leaderly/Inspiring) We know what he's after, and we know what's at stake. That's more than we had a minute ago. So let's use our insight and our abilities to create a plan.
I cherish my life on Earth. It makes it all the more important I keep it safe.

CHARACTER DESC: Stronger than Hercules, wise as Athena, swifter than Hermes, and as beautiful as Aphrodite, Princess Diana of Themyscira fights for peace in Man's World. She is a kind-hearted, selfless, and powerful warrior who hails from Themyscaria. Should have a strong, kind, and slightly deeper voice.

(Questioning) These "Chaos Emeralds"...is there any way to counter their power?
(Confident) If you need to stop an asteroid, you call Superman. If you need to solve a mystery, you call Batman. But if you need to end a war, well, you call me.

CHARACTER DESC: Batman is a dark and brooding hero with a personal vendetta against crime and injustice. Psychologically traumatized by the death of his parents, Batman has sworn to rid Gotham of the criminal elements that took his parents away from him. He is extremely pessimistic and suspicious, which often makes it difficult for him to trust people.

(Firm/Blunt) Who was it? The one you couldn't protect. The one you watched die in front of you.
I swore to never let it happen again. To protect the city my parents loved, to protect their world. I will use every advantage at my disposal. That includes the Justice League.

CHARACTER DESC: Cyborg is the tech guy on the Justice League. He's bombastic, loyal, smart, and charismatic. When it comes to his voice, I am looking for someone who can nail the energy that Khary Payton exudes while voicing him.

CHARACTER DESC: A confident and sharp investigative journalist with a no-nonsense attitude. She’s quick-witted, fearless, and has a keen sense of justice, always chasing the truth with unshakable determination. Her voice should carry both warmth and strength, reflecting her intelligence and compassion while maintaining an edge of relentless curiosity.

CHARACTER DESC: Grodd is a powerful, egotistical, radical extremist leader hell-bent on taking over the world with his gorilla army. We're looking for a loud and proud voice on the lower side to convey his large stature and powerful presence.

CHARACTER DESC: Professor Eobard "Zoom" Thawne, also known as the Reverse-Flash, is the archenemy of the Flash. He is a twisted sociopathic criminal, with a brilliant mind and super-speed, who was born in the 25th Century and travels through time to do battle with his most hated enemy.

CHARACTER DESC: Sinestro of Korugar is the arch-nemesis of Green Lantern. At one point the greatest member of the Green Lantern Corps, he was corrupted by his power and exiled for crimes against his own people. He now seeks to impose his own order and control onto the universe, employing a Yellow Lantern Ring to combat the green he has grown to despise.

CHARACTER DESC: John Stewart is a Green Lantern with a disciplined, no-nonsense attitude and a strong moral compass. He’s courageous, self-assured, and always focused on the mission. His voice should be calm, firm, and commanding.

CHARACTER DESC: Lex Luthor is intelligent, successful, and likes nothing better than for "lesser beings" to recognize and admire him as a leader of men. Lex's enormous legitimate accomplishments are dwarfed by his own egotistical view of himself. Lex sees himself as a modern renaissance man and the standard for human personal achievement.
