Sonic Adventure Redis-Drip-uted
Project Overview
Hello Everybody, This is a casting call page for Sonic Adventure Redis-Drip-uted, a non-profit fan-made reimagining of the Dreamcast classic and the most impactful Sonic game.
Plot:
Doctor Robotnik seeks a new way to defeat his longtime nemesis Sonic and conquer the world. During his research, he learns about an entity called Chaos—a creature that, thousands of years ago, helped to protect the Chao and the all-powerful Master Emerald, which balances the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds. When a tribe of echidnas sought to steal the power of the Emeralds, breaking the harmony they had with the Chao, Chaos retaliated by using the Emeralds' power to transform into a monstrous beast, Perfect Chaos, and wipe them out. Tikal, a young echidna who befriended Chaos, imprisoned it in the Master Emerald along with herself. Robotnik shatters the Master Emerald to release Chaos and tests the creature's natural form on the city of Station Square.

I usually prefer email to send stuff and give updates. So email is your best bet. Once casted I will provide my email.
This project will not be paid.

Update: Since There are so many amazing voice auditions and can't cast one. I will cast everyone that sounds great! How will this work you ask? In the options menu and/or booting up the game; you will have the option to preview and select the voice actor you like, meaning everyone who is absolutely stunning will definitely be casted, Even if they are playing the same character! So do not worry if a character is closed, as you can still audition ;)
Edit: 12/3/2023 WOW I'm an idiot I made this casting call WAY too early before I even began working on the game, i don't know what was my thinking process to get voice actors before the game was even out of it's concept phase. Sorry to everybody who auditioned without knowing that. Once the game is ACTUALLY done, I will start another one for real

The quick-witted blue hedgehog, who is often impatient with slow things. Although he can be cocky at times, he can also show off emotion at times like these as well, he is honest, loyal to his friends, keeps his promises, and hates seeing his friends cry.
For the voice of Sonic, I'd say any kind of similar to any Sonic voice will do. Whether that be Ryan Drummond, Jason Griffith, or Roger Craig Smith.....

It is required that you have vocal range, as in you can scream/cry/whisper/etc. and still sound like sonic without doing the same vocal range AKA none of that Sonic Omens Garbage

Tails is a very friendly and humble Fox who has an IQ of 300. He looks up to Sonic as a hero whom he wanted to emulate, but after some consideration he realizes he can't depend on him forever. Though he lacks confidence, he is always quite capable around Sonic and often helps him out.
For Tails, I want something similar to Colleen O'Shaughnessey/ Kate Higgins

I've changed a lot since I started hanging with Sonic, but I can't depend on him forever. I know I can do this by myself!
I won't let Sonic down! I won't give up!
Knuckles is independent, headstrong, devoted to his duty and slightly gullible. He is very serious and usually likes to be by himself, but can be relied upon to help out whenever the world is in danger.
For Knuckles, I would like something similar to that of Dan Green or Scott Drier

Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and boundless energy. However, she has a scary temper and her infatuation with Sonic makes her shortsighted and a bit obsessive about him, having followed him everywhere since meeting him.
For Amy, I would like something similar to Lisa Ortiz

A brilliant scientist and megalomaniac, Eggman is always scheming and inventing powerful machinery to wreak havoc. When Sonic gets in his way, he has a tendency to explode and act childish.
For Eggman, I would love a Mike Pollock, but Deem Bristow is fine as well.

Initially, Gamma was just another mindless robot who would obey Dr. Robotnik. During this time, Gamma would blindly carry out the doctor's orders without question, deeming them as "absolute" However, this also meant that he would do certain tasks without knowing why.

Because of her late paternal grandmother's teaching, Tikal is a kindhearted and gentle pacifist who is also extremely compassionate and non-discriminatory. She strongly opposes greed and conflict and wishes to see nothing more than peace, harmony and tranquility.
For Tikal, I would like a voice similar to that of Kaede Akamatsu, Done by Erika Harlacher

Approximately 3,000 years ago, the echidnas thrived as a clan known as the Knuckles Clan in what would become the Mystic Ruins. After incurring the wrath of Chaos however, much of the Knuckles Clan was wiped out.
For most of the echidnas, I'd say go for something similar to a nigerian or something, just something that sounds like it's part of a tribe.
