Songs of War: What If...? Voiceover Casting
Project Overview
Songs of War: What If...? is a Fanmade spin-off series based off of the medieval fantasy production called Songs of War by Squared Media. Songs of War was about a land called Ardonia, where the story of an outcast species rises up to take revenge on the world. One Ardoni, titled the Deathsinger, set out to ensure his people were never persecuted again.
Songs of War: What If...? is a series that dives deep into the hypothetical scenarios of different results of a certain event that happened in the original Songs of War story. Different stories take place each episode, and different endings to the original Songs of War based on if something happened differently than how it did in the original Songs of War.
This casting call is looking for all roles in the series. Some of them may need to be recasts of the original characters from Songs of War. Many of the original voice actors did reprise, but not all of them. If you have any questions about this production, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Glacians are the oldest living species in all of Ardonia, they are the keepers of history and the writers of the Walls of Time. They are some of the wisest known people in the entire world, and they are only found in the northernmost points of Ardonia. They provide useful information and are often seen as all-knowing creatures in which people go to in order to find answers to long-asked questions about the universe. They are creatures seemingly made of ice, and have lived for centuries, even longer than the Netharan Royal Family (and they live up to 1000).
We are looking for about 2-4 people to fit these roles, so this role will not close until we feel we have enough, we will reach out to you individually if you've been cast as one.
There would be 2 adult Glacians, then one Elder Glacian, you will be considered for either.
Their voices sound old, wise, and prominent, their voices should be on the middle-lower or low side with a lot of weight. Whenever they speak, it should make the scene feel calming.

He is very big and strong, and wields a giant double-sided blade, titled Soulseeker.

He is full of himself, as he believes himself to be the best at what he does, he tries to be humble about it, but he isn't very successful most of the time.

Xaria is a necromancer that is tightly associated with their supreme leader, the Necrolord. He is well-experienced in the way of the sword and in controlling the undead. He was not part of the fortunate lot in Ardonia, he did not have a lot to live for, which drove him to join the cause of the Necromancers. Using their abilities in controlling the undead, they intended to take what they desired and rightfully deserved by force. Xaria, despite being viewed as an extremist to this cause, truly only wants to see himself become more fortunate than those who don't deserve it.

Vulcannus is the prince of the Nether and the rightful heir to the Nether Throne. His younger brother, Pythus, killed their father, King Chronos, and unlawfully succeeded the throne. Vulcannus, alongside his new ally, the Deathsinger, the most powerful being in Ardonia, revolted against Pythus in an attempt to overthrow him and claim the throne. He is also a very skilled warrior.
Unlike the rest of the Nether Kingdom, this Netharan is more lighthearted than the others. He is much kinder to those beneath him and of lesser skill, and often shows mercy rather than ruthlessness in contrast to the rest of the Royal Family.
Vulcannus is a very intellectual being with a highly advanced vocabulary in multiple circumstances.
His voice should be very low with a deep grumble-like rasp. I imagine him to sound a lot like Optimus Prime from Transformers, if that helps with any referencing.

He is a senior representative of the Mendoris clan, he should have a low voice with a profound outspoken tone, his presence should be known to everyone who can hear him.

His voice should be old and weighty, his presence isn't all that demanding, unlike the other Masters.

Roman is the Captain of the Guard of Northwind. He is a very strong adult male in his 40s and wields a giant diamond spear. He is a stern captain with a demanding presence. His strength gives him a great advantage in battle, as he is about as skilled as Kiyoshi with the way they fight with their staves. His skill, however, makes him quite egotistical, and this causes him to be more arrogant than the other captains.
His voice should be demanding with a stern tone, but he should also have some arrogance in some of his lines. His voice should sound hefty and mid-low range.

Allister is an arrogant, spoiled, and young adult man who tries to steal the throne of the Enderknights by force, after being chosen as an Enderknight. He is lightly experienced with his sword, and is able to fend for himself against minor foes. He is full of himself and genuinely thinks he is above all, considering he comes from a rich family.
