Software Training Videos - Overdubs Needed!

Project Overview

Hello,

We have a series of software training videos where a technician talks about the installation process for a program on a person's computer. This project is to overdub / replace the original audio voice over with a new professionally recorded dub.

The original technician recorded audio explanations as he goes through the material. We would like this audio replaced with a higher quality recording, based on a transcript of the original, but with a more natural cadence and better microphone. We're looking for an upbeat, professional voice actor to re-record what the technician says in the videos.

The first video is 38 minutes long, transcribed about 4800 words. The material is somewhat technical in nature, but pronunciation shouldn't be an issue. We will have the original audio with the video, and a transcript for reference.

Upon successful completion and approval from our management, we will continue the rest of the series which is 3 more videos of similar length.

  • Good afternoon and welcome.

This is phase one of the VAR onboarding training and today we are going to be going over the environment discovery portion of that training.

  • So, a good place to start would be at the very beginning, so what is DMO?

  • DMO processes speech in the cloud. It does this by connecting to the NMS or the Nuance Management Server, which authenticates the user account, checks the licenses and pulls profile configurations and some of these include settings vocab, auto-texts or commands and it does this using the internet, So if you have internet connectivity to install and use it, you can fully use DMO anywhere that you would like.
